Name: Eilidh O'Maoilriain
Gender: Identifies female, born male
Age: 22
Birthday: 04/12
Sexuality: Attracted to men
Special Characteristics: Eilidh has an extremely detailed tattoo of the full moon across her back done in a special ink that has a silvery glow exactly like the light of the moon itself.
Personality: Eilidh likes to think of herself as being fundamentally kind and is always willing to lend a helping hand, and even despite the love of fighting that she's found within herself since she was forced to flee her home she always tries to avoid killing or crippling her opponent unless absolutely necessary. Not to say she won't kill if it is necessary, that lesson has been pounded home rather harshly.
Eilidh likes to fight, and it fills her with the same exuberance and joy that her other passtimes, singing and dancing, give her, a lust for life and being part of it. This may be why she's been known to burst out singing random snippets of her favorite songs while fighting, always keeping a grin on her face even as she gets more and more wounded. Outside of combat Eilidh is also energetic, and always eager to try new things.
Unfortunately Eilidh will also tend to keep herself at arms length from people in terms of making a true connection until she knows them enough to trust them, and at that point she becomes very jealous of anyone who she perceives as trying to take her friends away from her, at least until she knows without a shadow of a doubt that they have no such plans or ulterior motives.
Having been raised to be one half of the ruling diarchy of her home clan Eilidh often will subconsciously try and insert herself into a position of authority when such a figure is needed, not to say she's imperious or demanding, her clan was not so wealthy that anyone could afford not to pull their own weight, but that she wears the mantle of leadership comfortably and readily. This also does mean that she likes to take charge in group activities, but she will always be open to listen to the opinions of others, and will in fact instantly dislike and actively try to subvert anyone who acts as though they should rule by right and should be obeyed in all things.

Likes:
- Animals, especially birds. Eilidh grew up in a very sheltered village that subsisted on farming, and everyone took part in taking care of the animals, making it hard not to develop a love for them. Eilidh however was always partial to birds, perhaps because of their position in her people's beliefs.
- Clear Nights. Eilidh is the Nighean na Gealaich, or Daughter of the Moon, and as such feels a special connection with the night sky in all it's beauty.
- Storms and overcast days. Eilidh loves to watch storms as they roll through, and to a lesser extent enjoys overcast days in the hope that they will herald a storm.
- Dancing. Dancing and singing were the major pastimes of her village and she wholeheartedly enjoyed them.
- Singing, with preferences to bardic style music and power metal. Just like dancing Eilidh loves to sing, though her tastes are influinced by her village preferring more bardic music overall, and the feeling of strength and raw energy similar to what she feels when fighting attracts her to power metal.
- Fighting. Fighting is a time when Eilidh feels that she comes alive, pitting herself against another, bearing your soul to them through combat, it fills her with energy and joy.
Dislikes:
- Overly sunny days. As the Nighean na Gealaich Eilidh tended to avoid much direct simply because she was mostly nocturnal, and despite being forced to become more diurnal due to recent events Eilidh is just not fond of the bright, burning light of the direct gaze of the sun.
- Studying. There's so much of life to experience, to grab by the horns, why would you want to spend all your time cooped up missing out on it?
- People who come across as entitled or who make all of their profits off the work of others. Having been raised to one day lead her clan alongside her brother while at the same time having the lesson hammered home that she must work alongside those who look to her for guidance in order to guarantee the survival of all has resulted in a deep scorn for any who lead others without being willing to work just as hard as those they lead.
- Overly charismatic leaders. It was an extremely charismatic man who came into her clan and eventually tore it asunder, using his charms to turn even her own brother against her in his bid for their lands and power, and as such Eilidh has a deep distrust towards anyone who tries to charm their way into being followed rather than leading by example.
- Other people taking the time of her friends or loved ones. Eilidh has already lost one family due to the poisoned words of a complete stranger, and she's not about to sit idly by if it starts to happen again.
- Being anywhere without at least some nature in sight. Eilidh's clan lived in a remote, heavily forested area and for the most part lived in a very traditional village, the sight of mans works completely overtaking the nature around it just seems...wrong.
Motivations:
- Find and rescue her brother. Mortimer Fallon may have been able to turn her brother against her and the rest of their people, but Eilidh refuses to believe that her brother can't be saved from Fallon and himself, and will bring him back.
- Kill Mortimer Fallon. Mortimer Fallon used his honeyed words to tear her clan apart and twist her brother into his personal weapon, Eilidh will never forgive him for that and will have her revenge.
- Take on the full mantle of the Nighean na Gealaich. With or without her people Eilidh was chosen to bear the power granted to her clan by the spirits of the night sky, and if she has any hope of rebuilding her lost clan she will have to fully embrace that power and everything it entails.
- Re-found her clan as part of the modern world. Eilidh refuses to allow Mortimer Fallon to have written the last chapter of her people, but she also recognizes that their adherence to outdated concepts and ideas is part of what made it so easy for him to tear them apart, so she will rebuild her clan, but this time they will be part of the world rather than isolated from it.
Fears:
- That her brother will have fallen to far to be saved. Her brother had already fallen far, but enough of his old self was left that he spared her and allowed her to escape, and the idea that even that spark of mercy and kindness may have been smothered is an idea that Eilidh violently refuses to consider.
- Being alone in any city. The first time Eilidh found herself in a city she was awestruck, and her naivete made her an easy target. Without anyone to help guide her she fell for the false sympathy of some less than scrupulous individuals and wound up being kidnapped and treated horribly for some time until she was rescued by a mage who'd been asked to look into recent disappearances, it was that same mage who suggested she join a guild, but the experience has left her with a deep fear of being alone inside of anything larger than a small town.
- Having her friends and loved ones turn against her again. Eilidh already knows the heartbreak of seeing friends and loved ones turn against her and those who didn't fall into the line they created and is constantly on the look out for the same thing happening again.
