"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

The hum of a boat's motor could be heard, they of course had someone take them because neither of them wanted to drive the boat. He had attached a tube to his arm so it would run on magic power and so they could save theirs! Arachne looked down at the water and contemplated some things, could she really do this? The pain and agony that might ensue? She'd have to.. get her dress all dirty! I mean sure she cared about the oompa Loompa's as much as anyone else did.. Which was not caring at all! Ariadne needed the money and as long as she had spectra with her then this job wouldn't be too boring plus it would be a good bonding experience for them.

She was very surprised spectra agreed to take this job considering she rarely did charity work for poor people since it was out of her norm, spectra being a rich spoiled brat and all! The boat stopped with a little thud, causing Ariadne to almost fall into the water! They had hit land and that meant that they had arrived, the two girls would have to venture into the jungle and figure out all the strange details of how the book was stolen and how they would recover it for the little orange people. "Come on spectra, we need to go before one of them finds you and tries to take you as their bride." Ariadne laughed at her own snarky comment, stepping off and moving on along.

"Do you know how terrifying ghosts are?"

Ariadne had picked the job and of course it was in some backwoods jungle Spectra had never even heard of. That didn't, however, change Spectra's standards. She made sure to hire only the best boat money could buy, well the best one that would take her to Enca. It seemed that luxury wasn't valued in such a place, so the quality of ship was rather lack luster in reality, but it was expensive and to Spectra that was all that mattered. Hoisting her parasol over her shoulder as she leaned against the boats railing, staring into the sea, it reminded her of Transylvania, her home island in which she was a princess. Recently she had left said island due to her daddy grounding her but it turned out this rebellious teen streak was a lot more fun then she thought it would be and she decided to keep it going.

Soon though, the ride came to an end. They pulled into the docs of Enca and Spectra could already feel the humidity, something her parasol just couldn't protect her from. "Ew." It was her immediate reaction upon seeing Enca, she almost questioned staying on the boat and leaving Ariadne to fend for herself but then she remembered the jewel and everything seemed to be a lot better. "Yuck! I hope they take you." Spectra shouted at Ariadne, flying off of the boat. Even when she was over the lush green she remained levitating, she didn't want to dirty her shoes on this gross hell hole.

It seemed that the dock was very close to the tribe because after only thirty minutes of Spectra whining and complaining, they managed to reach it! The indigenous people were interesting to say the least. Many of them wearing strange masks and leafs for clothes. Clearly fashion didn't exist here. One man stood out above the rest, as he had a large necklace on and his mask even had a sort of crown decoration. Spectra approached him slowly, she had heard that fast movements can scare them off. "WE'RE HERE TO HELP YOU." Spectra said this very loud and slow, as if they wouldn't understand her otherwise.

The tribes people seemed a little offended but they chuckled. The leader stepping forward. "Thank you for coming, as you know the Jungle Book has been taken and it must be retrieved at all costs. But I warn you, it is in the possession of the dark guild Scorpion Tail." He talked with a thick accent which made it very hard to understand him. not that Spectra was really listening. "They stole the book from one of our temples, they must be in the jungle somewhere." Spectra glanced at the giant jungle that surrounded the small tribe and she was far from thrilled. She was going on a wild goose chase to find some criminal who may or may not be in there? It didn't sound very appealing, but she had a better idea.

As Spectra sent several ghosts flying into the forest in order to create her ghost network, the man grew very scared. As if he had never seen such a magic before. He began to chant something in a foreign language which of course Spectra ignored. She just wanted to get this over with.

"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

"You should be more careful, one of the scorpion's could see your ghosts and possibly find out the tribe hired help.. Though for all we know the scorpion guild could just be some ants that carried the book off." ;fl; Ariadne laughed a bit. She performed her song as to calm the villagers and not do a flashy spider spell so that the villagers wouldn't get scared and start flinging their own feces at her like they probably would do soon to spectra. Many giant spiders flooded the area, flocking to her but a lot of the smaller ones did too! As one could guess this place was filled with spiders and in her opinion they were all very beautiful! She felt bad that nature would have them all killed and that's why she never really liked mother nature for harming her babies. She whispered something under her breath as the spiders all went out in different directions.

Some of them weaving quick webs to get places farther while she used her spider silk magic to help them. If they didn't find this book they could say goodbye to all the jewels they would get! She needed money for a new outfit since black was starting to get out of season. Plus she wanted something fun to play with, maybe one of those little magic creatures that she'd seen a lot of the models have! Ariadne of course had her own collection of pet spiders but she needed a bigger pet to intimidate other people as her spiders were mostly used for spying purposes rather than fighting but it could help clear a room in ten seconds flat. She looked over to spectra next. "Catch anything? I'd like to get this over with soon but if I have to then I will go looking for the little shits myself." The two had a very complicated relationship, almost as if they were a mother and daughter dynamic duo! Except Ariadne and spectra weren't too far off in age and both were very attractive women though she'd never let spectra know that she didn't find her completely hideous like she usually told her.

One of the spiders came back to her, reporting a few things but nothing she needed. A unique ability of ariade's spider queen magic was that she could talk to the spiders in an empathetic way, even though no words were exchanged both parties could understand the other perfectly. Sort of like when spectra is stuffing an entire cheesecake in her mouth and Ariadne has to figure out what she's saying over the disgusting sounds of a cow chewing cheesecake.. Moving on! The woman looked around at the village and questioned how these villagers had such a powerful book in their possession yet never used it to dominate surrounding tribes or even tried to use it to defend their village from potential invaders. Ariadne mostly knew about spiders but she was smart enough to know all kinds of dangerous the forest held such as giant spiders, monsters, ugly people. That last one is the real animal you have to watch out for because ugly people can be very unstable and dangerous when you come across them.

The chief of the village reminded her of a giant potato but maybe that was because she still hasn't eaten after all this time. As much as she loved spectra, Ariadne didn't want to die a terrible death of starvation and become one of her little ghost puppets. Could spectra talk to ghosts? She didn't know but it would be a good conversation starter to know more about her friend's magic! The two had grown close ever since they first met but that's a story for another time.. Her spiders still hadn't found anything but that was understandable because of how big the jungle was and she had only ordered them a few minutes ago! Spectra's ghosts were more reliable in this situation due to their phasing ability and the fact that they could fly, while the spiders were more reliable in the sense that they could get through small spaces and hide in peoples clothing to do long time spying and get audio from them. Arachne didn't have time for all this but she would have to make time due to the mission and how many jewels they would get for this! She could practically see that new top..

"Do you know how terrifying ghosts are?"

Spectra's ghosts were fast and efficient and though they were easily noticeable, she doubted that these Scorpion Tail members would care. They had their eyes on the prize. a book that let them control animals. Why they didn't just buy a dog whistle at the local magic ship was beyond her but clearly it had great value in the eyes of the tribe. Once the ghosts had searched far and wide they all came flooding back to Spectra, flying into her body. "Well well well... this way." Spectra pointed, gliding towards that direction. Her ghosts had managed to find five wizards who had unfortunately separated from the pack and were desperately searching for their way back.

"There are a few mages ahead but I  doubt they will be of any use to us." Spectra was tempted to just blow them up, but they might know about their guild mates whereabouts  but that seemed unlikely considered how clueless they looked. About fifteen minutes into the lush green forest Spectra heard something abnormal. Even with her constant bickering about how she didn't want to be there, she heard a tree branch break! It must be them. Turning and traveling to where she hard the sound she saw them. Five mages arguing over which way they needed to go. Each of them had some sort of light or lightning magic they were using in order to go faster, but it didn't help due to their non existent sense of direction.

"Ahahahahaha! Not so fast!" From her palms flew several ghosts with round cute faces much like Spectra's own, they shot toward the group and immediately upon contact they all dropped to their knees. "We don't deserve to live!" They cried out in unison, their faces turning blue as depression consumed them. Spectra decided that she would allow Ariadne to attack as well, it would help to save her magic power and all.

"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

Ariadne was thinking hard on a few things, mostly where to eat dinner tonight and curious to if the tribe leader tasted like a potato. That was until she heard spectra's voice telling her that there were a few separated guild members, of course spectra attacked them when she found out they were near! Using her signature attack of negative ghosts. It was very useful in Ariadne's eyes, weakening even the strongest foes with depressing thoughts. "Good job spectra, I think these boys will do just nicely." The tall woman walked over, to the depressed group of guildmates, sending out a long strand of spider silk as it quickly wrapped around them all, hanging their bodies from a nearby tree branch. They were of course still alive but struggle as they may, they couldn't escape her spider thread. Spider silk has more tensile strength than steel! When applied with magic it becomes even stronger in other categories as well such as stickiness and capturing ability. She walked over to one of the men, bringing his webbing down a tiny bit so that he was eye level with her. "Tell me where your base is and if you lie to me then you will be met with the Wandering spider, one of the most venomous spiders in this land.. One bite and you'll be screaming in pain for a good thirty minutes then you will slowly die as the poison spreads through your blood and eventually to your brain where it will cause your organs to shut down and internal bleeding. So tell me where to find the base and if you try anything I will gladly kill your little friends because while I may be apart of a dark guild I have no problem with letting my sadist side come out and slowly kill you while my friend over here traps your souls in her little troupe of ghosts.." Ariadne was serious about this, sometimes she enjoyed watching how a spider feasts on its prey by spitting out digestive liquid to corrode the skin and then eat whatever is left. The man she was talking to suddenly snapped out and was currently freaking out, quickly releasing out the words. "I-I'm not completely sure where the base is because we got lost! B-But we were close, head northwest and you'll eventually find it, I swear!" She didn't know if she should believe him but it was truly the only lead they had so she stepped away from the hanging men, smiling. "Are you ready spectra? We have a few weeds to clear out of this forest." Ariadne laughed a bit as she placed a spider on each of their faces, with orders to quickly end their lives if they tried anything suspicious, but to also make it slow and painful so she could hear their delicious screams. Criminals always do have the best screams because she believes that they release the sins that they've committed over the many years! How lovely.

"Do you know how terrifying ghosts are?"

Spectra watched as as the spider weaved her web, it was a beautiful thing really, the intricate designs. It was so sad these ugly men had to come along and ruin it! Entwined in her silk woven trap, Ariadne interrogated the men and it seemed to be working! They were very fearful of her. It seemed her long speech was very convincing and jogged their memory because they spit out the bases location rather quickly which caused Spectra to laugh, they were so pathetic! How could someone give up an important piece of information like that so easily? She never really understood it.

With them in that web, they were just waiting around for death. The lions, tigers, and bears would get to them soon enough, so there was no need for Spectra's big finish. Ariadne then asked if Spectra was ready, which she was, anything to get out of this gross jungle. "Something tells me the other mages won't be as stupid as they were... but it doesn't matter they are nothing!" Suddenly the jungle changed. Spectra looked to her friend but she wasn't there! The area had quite literally shifted. It began to spin, trees, plants, they all flew around to create something new and the entire path was thrown off, her and Ariande were separated! Spectra could only assume it was due to the leaders magic and she was angry.

Lost and alone she had no choice but to continue in the direction she believed to be northwest and that was when she saw them. Two wizards who seemed perfectly calm despite the jungles sudden changes. They quickly spotted Spectra and they weren't going to give her a chance to explain herself. One of them shot a flurry of ice chunks at her, while the other froze the area of jungle around her. She would have been worried, except for the fact that she could fly and had defensive spells. A giant ghost was created and it swallowed Spectra whole! Hugging her knees within the spook, she only laughed as all of their attacks proved futile. "You can't beat me." She said confidently, ghosts flying from her shield and into their bodies. "Sweet nightmares." They fell to the floor, sleeping and yet screaming. Horrifying nightmares. "Fools." She scoffed, her shield vanishing as she continued through the jungle.

"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

Just as she had heard spectra's response, in a mere moment the whole are had shifted! Spectra was no longer beside her and she was faced with a singular destroyed path of trees almost as if it were a leading path? She couldn't be for sure but she was more or less sure that whoever did this was going to be dead by the time her and spectra got there. Spectra never had a problem with killing considering she's surrounded by the deceased souls of others! Though this was very strange for Ariadne.. She'd never been separated and using her spiders would only take more time and for all she knows spectra could be fighting the main leader right now. So the woman continued along the destroyed path and only hoped that she would find some kind of clue to tell her where that asshole took her friend. It's times like this that reminded Ariadne about the first time she met spectra!

That's a story for a different time. She had to focus on finding her lost friend and do it quickly because soon the sun would be setting and she didn't need to give the enemies any more advantages. They probably knew this jungle well considering the fact they could easily separate it and find the two girls, as Ariadne was lost in thought an unfamiliar voice came from behind her! "Found one!" A disgusting male voice yelled out, as he was joined by two friends.. In a moment faster than Ariadne could react, she was covered in a heavy substance that weighed her down and restricted her! Sand? Who the hell uses sand magic anymore? Bunch of loser guild members that's who! One of the three men walked over to Ariadne and flashed a toothy smile, though his teeth were more yellow than Shalonda's toenails. "Let me go you filthy scum." Was Ariadne's simple reply, she would not be bound again by men!

She left her past behind and vowed to never be weak at the hands of a man ever again. With this, she let out something other than a beautiful song, it was a scream of rage and passion as nothing happened after a few seconds.. Until hundreds of spiders ranging in various sizes flooded the area! Attacking the three wizards and while they managed to kill quite a few with their magic, each was bitten by at least one and the men started howling in pain! Looks like some of these lovely children were venomous, how lovely. After a few minutes, the spiders had managed to remove the sand from her and she looked down at the scrum that lay before her, jumping in the air and sending out spider silk connecting to two trees, she made a giant spider web and soon wrapped the three men in the silk and placed them roughly on the web for the animals of the forest to feed on.

The spiders she had once called upon dispersed but lucky for the vile men, the spiders were only venomous and not poisonous meaning while they would be in much pain, they would not die from it and could live a long healthy life in prison! Well, that's if the panthers didn't get to them before the villagers did. "Bye Bye scum, I'll be finding your leader and sacrificing him to whatever god these villagers worship." With this, Ariadne continued to walk along the little path the gravity wizard had so kindly paved for her! If she didn't find spectra soon then she was about go to the village and get a bite of that potato man.

"Do you know how terrifying ghosts are?"

Spectra could only assume that Ariadne was okay, it seemed that the only mage that was a real threat to anyone was the leader, who was very good at running and hiding but Spectra was bored of playing cat and mouse. Flying above the tree tops to get an aerial view she saw nothing out of the ordinary. Then again, it was a massive jungle. An endless sea of green with giant trees that obscured her vision of the jungles floor. "Damn it." She said, going just below the treeline in order to scout properly.

This continued for a long time, Spectra was ready to give up and leave this tribe to fend for itself, who cared if some thief got a book that controls wild life? Big deal. Then, it happened! The environment seemed to be changing again but Spectra saw it's center, the cause behind such a strange phenomenon. Near one of the smaller temples, on the peak, sat a man. From above the temple must have blended with nature, but from this angle she could see it and him perfectly and sure enough, there in his arms was that book. Usually you'd approach a situation like this with caution, but Spectra had never been one to think things through. "Hey, you dummy! Give it back!" She called out, cupping her hands around her mouth so that she could be hard from the distance.

The man was shocked that someone had found him but when he saw who it was he only laughed. Spectra slowly walked closer, putting her hand on her hip as she looked above at the man. "I almost pity you. Laughing at me? Clearly your delusional, thinking you could steal that artifact and get away with it." The man did not take her seriously at all, and instead opened the book, blatantly ignoring Spectra who was trying her best to be serious, but sometimes your best isn't good enough. "HEY LOOK AT ME I'M TRYING TO HAVE A MOMENT HERE!" She screamed in anger, which really got his attention. "Shut up brat. I'm trying to read." Spectra couldn't believe this. "Just who do you think you are! Talking to a princess like that! Hmph." And with that, several ghosts came flying from her body, tangling themselves around the man  in order to bind them and as a result he dropped the book.

"Well, that was easy." She chimed, skipping in the air to go collect the book that was falling down the temples side. Much to her surprise, the book was swiped away and the man had... broken free? It seemed he was a lot stronger than his grunts and this was going to pose a real challenge. Spectra flew after the book but it just kept going out of her reach."This is so unfair! Cheater!" She teased the man, who was not happy about the situation. "Let's get this over with huh? Why don't you just give up." Spectra thought about his suggestion, and totally agreed. Clapping her hands together she called out, "Well... I guess you're right! Bye bye now." She turned, shrugging and preparing to walk away but the mans voice stopped her. "HEY! I'm not letting you off that easy." It seemed he had learned of the books power because the animals of the jungle growled and snarled, appearing from the shadows as they surrounded Spectra, only one word came to mind in this very unfavorable situation. "Crap."

"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

This was not her ideal quest, she could've taken one that involved going to the spa or finding a tribe of hunky men all named Fabio! Yet here she was, in a dirty ass jungle helping a bunch of potatoes find the book that they so rudely lost. Ariadne tried to be kinder though as she knew what it was like to lose something and it seemed the book as a powerful artifact not only in a power sense but also emotional. These villagers relied on the book as a way to reach their own spiritual needs. So Ariadne continued her brave journey into the dirty path of jungle, that was until she could've sworn she saw a pink figure flying up in the sky heading west! It had to be spectra and while the figure soon descended just as quickly as it ascended.

Ariadne had sent out a web to the trees, swinging through like a sexy female Tarzan! As she was swinging through the trees though, her mind wandered off to thinking about what the leader would be like if they fought him? The two could possibly die on this quest considering they aren't exactly the strongest ones in their guild but they definitely could hold their own! Ariadne quickly realized she needed to have faith in her friend's strength and even in her own, if they didn't believe in each other and themselves then they wouldn't be able to complete this quest and she'd have to hear hours of whining from spectra. Moving on from this she was almost to the spot where she could've sworn she saw a far away spectra go and as she got closer, she heard whispers and assumed it was spectra and who could only be the leader of this weird ugly guild.

"Spectra? Are you in here? There's a sale on oversized ugly pink boots!" She was hoping this would get spectra's attention until she saw the leader and spectra arguing and preparing to fight, though she also felt eyes on her.. The animals had suddenly turned violent? No one controls spiders except her.  "How dare you."   Ariadne said in a bitter tone, pointing at the man accusingly! Her mouth opened to sing a beautiful melody that soon caused all surrounding spiders to attack the other animals, while spiders in the forest were small they still carried venom and were able to crawl in small parts of animals such as the ear or bite the eyeball.

While the animals were distracted, Ariadne sent out a web shot, as the thick spider silk wrapped around the leaders leg, he looked at her in confusion as if this was suppose to do something? Then Ariadne used her strength to spin around and pull him! The momentum gathered with the throw and he was thrown into a tree forcefully. Though the man was strong and it would take both of them to defeat this gross rascal flats rip off. The man groaned in anger, then laughed. "It'll take more than that to defeat me, girl."  The man changed her gravity, sending it sideways as she crashed into a tree, groaning.

"Do you know how terrifying ghosts are?"

Spectra was relived that Ariadne had managed to find her way through the jungle but she still remained true to herself. "Took you long enough." it was said very aggressively, appropriate due to the menagerie of beats surrounding her like she was a sirloin steak. Even with Ariadne at her side it seemed that the odds were stacked against them, but that didn't stop Spectra. Her arrogance didn't know the difference. Holding out her hands she sent a few negative ghosts towards the man and immediately he fell to his knees. "I want to die and be reincarnated as a worm, it's what I deserve." He cried to himself and Spectra laughed, flying to where Ariadne was slammed into a tree. "Get up!" Spectra demanded before turning her attention back to the book bandit who had somehow found his way right back on the temple, even after Ariadne's attack.

He was very angry about being degraded like that and he was going to take it out on them. Suddenly snakes from the trees dropped to the floor and began to slither around. It also didn't help that he manipulated their gravity so that they could fly, this was an attack clearly aimed at Spectra. Holding out her palms, several mini ghosts flew toward the snakes, entering their mouths before she snapped and their heads came flying off. Their bodies squirming helplessly. The man was shocked. "That's animal abuse, you're gonna pay." The tides were just beginning to turn and then they turned right back around again. The ground shook beneath them, hundreds of birds were startled and came flying from their nests, the man was using his gravity magic to lift the very temple he stood on. It appeared quite straining, but now he had a giant moving vehicle in the sky at his beck and call.

"WHHHHAAAAATTT!" Spectra exclaimed, her eyes almost shooting from her head. She couldn't believe this! "GET DOWN GET DOWN GET DOWN GET DOWN!" She cried out, tears falling from her eyes as she waved her arms around frantically. She didn't want to chase him all the way up there. "Heh heh." The man said as his temple came flying toward both Spectra and Ariadne. "AHHHHHH!" She shrieked barely managing to fly out harms way before the temple came crashing down, making a giant crater in the earth and destroying the wildlife around it.

Of course her dodging that meant she crashed into something else but she quickly got up, brushed off her clothes, and collected herself. "Is that all you've got! Ahahahaha." Spectra teased, sticking her tongue out and pretending to be unphased by such an attack. "You have no idea who you're messing with!" Flying over to wherever Ariadne was at this point she gave a certain look, one that they had practiced long ago. One that meant they would need to combine their powers. The girls pressed against each other as they combined their magical power, the man recognized what was happening and tried to interrupt. "Go my pets..." He called out but the animals were too late. A ginormous ghost with hundreds of spiders inside of it flew toward the man,  he tried to use his temple to escape but he simply didn't have enough magic and with a snap of Spectra's fingers the ghost exploded and the spiders immediately flew onto the man. It was overkill. His fried corpse was then wrapped in a silk cocoon and treated like a desert to Ariadne's pets, the book came tumbling down the temple, landing right at their feet. "Well, that was easy." Spectra said, tossing one of her twin ringlets back and walking towards the village, leaving Ariadne to tend to the book.

"A wandering mind is as venomous as a wandering spider."

Ariadne may have been thrown into a tree but she was more durable than she looked, soon getting up at the sound of spectra's nagging voice! "I'm getting up, god just give me like five minutes." Ariadne joked, this was of course a serious situation but the fact that Ariadne had to fight with her best friend meant that she would give it all she had, the idea of a unison raid was probably their only hope as the man was using his gravity magic and the assistance of avian flight to lift a giant projectile into the air! How petty can you get? Like we get it you can control animals but seriously a giant temple attack? Lame! The girl then noticed spectra screaming and whining over the fact that she was about to get hit with a giant temple and rolled her eyes. "Come on spectra! You need to grow up and start the attack!"

The two girls were strong but this guy proved to be stronger, he had already used the majority of his magic power when he did his temple attack which meant that he would be low, this would prove helpful to the two girls as if they did a unison raid that meant that they could easily wipe him out and recover the book, so with both girls joining hands, spectra summoned one of her biggest ghosts as Arachne loaded it up with hordes of spiders almost like a water balloon, the two girls together screamed out their attack and sent it towards the man! He obviously tried to summon the animals for help but it was too late as the attack was already in full swing, soon a large explosion ripped through the air, only propelling the eight legged warriors towards the evil scum of a man that stand before them.

His charred body remained alive but in pain, that was until the spiders quickly finished him off by spitting their digestive juices on his charred flesh and having him eaten alive while he screamed for his now trapped guildmates to assist him in this horrendous display of beautiful friendship. Once this was all said and done, Ariadne simply walked over to the charred body, grabbing the book and trying to stuff it into her bra because imagine the power she could have with this book! Maybe if she just pushed it down deep in there they could hide it and leave! The villagers would be none the wiser.. Though Ariadne couldn't do it! Not that she felt bad or anything, she just physically couldn't fit the book in her bra and that meant that she'd have to give it back to the potato oompa Loompa looking villagers. Terrible sad that she has to leave this awful place but what can you say? If she stayed she might be made the bride of Frankenstein! Well the village's version of him which was probably even worse! Ariadne did care for the villagers though, something important was taken from her home too but back then she fought for her home instead of hiring someone else to do it for her. That's actually how spectra and her met and became best friends! Well I wouldn't say best friends but sometimes they have cute moments of friendship though most of the time its Ariadne plotting on how to kill spectra without letting her turn into a ghost

The last thing she needed was an immortal spectra that would haunt her for the rest of her miserable life. While she waited for spectra to get ready, Ariadne played with some of the baby spiders that had been born recently, usually spiders gave birth to about hundreds of thousands and these golden orb ones were super adorable! She always wanted one as a pet but finding them was hard for her and they usually got stepped on, her whole life she was stepped on by those bigger than her and that is probably why she always had a strange fascination with spiders. No matter how small they were people were still afraid of them and sometimes they couldn't even kill them because of the fear they had. It reminded her that no matter how little you were you can always make a difference in the hearts and minds of others, manipulating others into doing their bidding and such. It wasn't easy to kill people though, so while she was a sadist at times, she also felt bad for the innocents that died everyday in meaningless conflict.

Her emotions ran high in times like this. Her friend could die and so could she if they made the wrong moves, causing a chain of bad luck that would be sure to end both their lives and possibly others. This was her philosophy that she so heavily relied on, she needed a motto like this to get her going through her days, killing cant be justified but it helps her sleep at night when she knows she's doing it for the ones she loves and to you know, get money for new shoes and tops. Overall though, she really wanted one of those fancy magical weapons she saw in the magazines! Ariadne wasn't sure which one she was going to get but whatever weapon she decided on would have to be an extension of herself, she needed something that fit her style and she wasn't sure what that was, maybe a giant fan? She could use it to shield from attacks if it was magical! That way she wouldn't need to always rely on her magic in times of trouble and she could help blow away any type of gas-like magic such as poison! Who knew a magical fan would be so useful, I guess she did.

The villagers obviously need to learn some magic or just use this book to surround themselves with like panthers or something because whatever god they're worshipping obviously is not listening! "Okay spectra, let's go back and pretend we're gods or something." With that, the girls made their way back on the path to the village. After a long and boring hike to the shit stain village, the girls were thanked tremendously but not worshipped as gods because apparently they didn't do that sort of thing? How weird, nonetheless they soon got back on the boat and went to the guild to cash in their reward money and get some cute new outfits, even though spectra had amazing fashion sense and most of the time looked like a beautiful ball of childish wonder that was dipped in candy.
