Description:
Shamanism is considered to be the oldest spiritual practice adapted by humanity in existence. A form of magic that is based solely on the theory of animism - the belief that everything contains a spirit. The art of the Shaman has been passed down from generation to generation, creating mastery in its practice. With it, great spiritual power is maintained and influences the world around us. Only a true master of the spiritual arts can consider themself a shaman.
Abilities:
✺ Shamanic Power ✺
A shaman is a filter from the spiritual power that surrounds us, able to pull their energy from all living things and pass in through themselves in the form of magic. The user gains access to a new magic type called "Shaman" which they will be able to use in the creation of magic. "Shaman" type magic comes to those who have inherited the way of the shaman, allowing the user to utilize "Caster" type spells in any magic using the "Shaman" magic type. The increase to max spell durations applies only to the given magic in question and doesn't stack with other "Shaman" magic type or "Lost" magic type benefits. The benefit levels for "Shaman" type magic can be found below:
- Solitary: +3 posts to max spell durations. +100% to MP and Spell Range.
- Primary: +2 posts to max spell durations. +50% to MP and Spell Range.
- Auxiliary: +1 posts to max spell durations. +25% to MP and Spell Range.
✺ Higher Ascension ✺
Shamans are well-versed in the art of wielding their spiritual power, able to ascend to higher frequencies, tapping in magical resources and pools of knowledge lost to the universe. As such they the user gains an additional user rank advanced spell per "Shaman" type magic they possess, which is added to the same magic. This spell ranks up with the user up to H+ Rank. Further, the user also gains an additional user-rank advanced spell per "Shaman" type magic they possess, which is added to the same magic. This spell ranks up with the user up to S+ Rank. Additionally, the user gains an extra user-rank Signature Spell for each of their Magics, which ranks with them up to S. Lastly, the user gains 5 additional user-rank spell slots for a single one of their magics, which will rank with the user up to S Rank.
✺ Selfless Spirit✺
A Shaman receives many blessings for their good work, as such the wielder of this lineage will receive 75% more Jewels from any jobs they complete. Not taking too much as it would go against the belief that one must aspire to be selfless. However, if they do a job with another player, the other member will receive 50% more Jewels from completing the job as well. This does not affect the amount earned by the user. Additionally, Shamans, skilled with knowledge are able to obtain great crafts from their work. As such, when doing jobs, the wielder will also receive a custom piece of equipment equivalent to the rank of the job, following the Tables and FAQ section, that is seemingly found on the job. Equipment gained this way cannot be sold in any shop or traded to other players, but can freely be traded amongst the user's own characters.
✺ Spiritual Healer ✺
Shamans, also known to have been witch doctors, are master healers with vast knowledge on how manipulating universal forces can be used to heal a body and its spirit. As a result, the wielder of this lineage's Spell Healing is buffed by 150%. Additionally, the bearer of the lineage gains a 50% increase to their base MP and base Spell Healing. This increase is applied before any other buffs to mana or healing. Additionally, the wielder will also regenerate 5% HP and MP per post passively, these two effects applying outside of the limits otherwise imposed on regeneration.
✺ Trance Wave✺
Shamans traverse the spirit worlds by inducing an ecstatic state, which leads to states of trance and spiritual, or sometimes physical, transformations. As such, once per post, the wielder of this lineage can enter a trance-like state. This releases a wave of tremendous spiritual energy, an auxiliary ability that covers user-rank advanced Burst range around the wielder at user-rank advanced Burst speed (Up to H+) passing through any shields, armors, or barriers. While this ability is active it does no damage, however, will influence everything it touches. Those hit by it will receive a user-rank advanced active debuff to Spell Damage multiplied by 1.5x and their MP will be drained at 5% every post for the rest of the ability's duration, which is equal to user-rank duration (Up to H). They will also be immobilized for one post, and at max once every other post for the remainder of the duration, as long as they are hit with the same ability once more when the duration and cooldown of the previous immobilization have expired. Additionally, this spell has the ability to negate one spell or ability that it comes into contact with per post, granted that it is equal to the user's rank or below (Up to H+). To do so, the wielder of this lineage will have to pay the MP cost of the spell being negated.
