iLac A Lot [iLac Mission]

Oh snap. Upon turning on his Wrist Device in the morning before heading towards the guild hall, Mura fell into an accident concerning the old mechanism… it kinda blew up in his face. The explosion was minor, but now that the scraps were scattered everywhere on the road, Mura was left with no device on his wrist that could tell him stuff and show him directions in parts unknown. Since it was morning, he decided to go get a new one immediately, since having a device was important for his missions… but that would mean that he would have to catch up on the news concerning these Lac’s…

So he turned right back home and found most of his newspapers. Kyuken and Zirconis looked over them along with him carefully, and thanks to convenience, they managed to find a page dedicated to the manufacturer of Lac’s. A new iLac was out now - its design was rather simple compared to Mura’s wrist phone, but it certainly had a unique style to it - so Mura would have to go to the Neutral Grounds to get his hands on it.

“W-What’s so different with this new iLac? It looks worse to me if I’m being honest…”
“What do I know, it’s a plate and a tool at the same time, and nothing like this existed back when I roamed…”
“Maybe the manufacturer didn’t change anything with the new one. Can’t we just repair the damaged Lac, Mura?”
“… You do know that aforementioned Lac is dust right now? Good luck repairing that.”
“I-It’s easy! You just got to use your powerful Onmyōdō spells and repair it from scratch, no problem!”

“I can’t just repair the Lac with my magic, Kyuken,” Mura replied to him calmly, “It’s kind of a big deal to make all the right combinations in general. Besides, let’s support this man’s career by buying a new one.” According to a magazine from yesterday, every single buyer helped the economy in one way or another. Mura wanted to remove any guilt in his heart, for there was plenty of that already.

The plan was set. In Neutral Grounds, where all manners of magic are completely suppressed by strange mechanisms, Mura was going to get his new iLac. Having no magic was… nostalgic. He grew up without any knowledge of magic up until the age of 12, so the very feeling brought him back to his past years. It also didn’t matter much if he was going to protect himself from upcoming threats - if they willed to happen - since he had Harusame and Futsu no Mitama no Tsurugi.

It was a good thing that the shaman didn’t accidently speak up the reason for buying a new one, for the manufacturer sounded angry upon first glance. He was shouting at a young group of boys and generally had a very upfront and aggressive expression, much to his surprise given the difference from that and the previous manufacturer. But hey, at least he got his new iLac… and it came with a bunch of new features that Mura didn’t know of before.

He could check the calender in here. Not only that, but it came with a calculator too. It also had the basic HP and MP tracker, which was a delight, but it also came with stopwatch, alarm and some kind of button that made the most unbearable sound ever, which he discovered at first hand. How anyone would want such an app was beyond him…
