Kael was slacking off when suddenly, a group of men captured him in his sleep, tying him up and throwing him behind a truck. Kael didn't know what was happening as he was still asleep, barely awakened by the noise the packaging truck kept ensuing. "YAAAAAAAAAAWN!" The young mage  opened his eyes and woke from his deep sleep, releasing another yawn and raising his head up with drool dripping down his mouth. "I guess it's morning already..." Kael was about to stand up when he realized that he was tied up and shackled to a barrel, greatly surprising the young mage. "Where the hell am I?!?" The young mage bellowed, flailing around and creating a ruckus behind the packaging truck. After a few minutes of rolling around and hitting some stuff with his body, the truck stopped, sending Kael rolling to the other end due to the reserved force. A few moments passed when the door behind the truck opened, showing two rune knights holding long spears that were about seven feet long. "Time to get off, sleepyhead. You've been captured." They said in unison, grabbing Kael and carrying him to a certain path which seemed to have led to one place: prison.

"Get me out of here!" Kael shouted, flailing away from the grasp of the two rune knights. It didn't take long until the rune knights had enough, releasing their grasp on Kael and sending him crashing to the ground. He rolled through the hallway, trying to find something or someone who can take off the ties that surrounded his body. He finally found something that might work after rolling with all his might - a large kitchen knife that seemed to have been dropped by someone. The young mage grabbed it with his mouth and used it to cut the rope that bound his arms, releasing them both. After that, he continued to cut down the ropes to his feet, finally releasing his whole body. Before he can jump around and rejoice his release, rune knights started running towards his direction which forced Kael to continue his pace, running as fast as he can until he reached a doorway. He locked it shut and ran down a deck of stairs, trying to find an end to the path.

When he ran for quite a distance, he approached the door that seemed to be the end of the passageway. The young mage opened it and passed through, but to his surprise, he didn't reach the exit. He happened to pass by a place he least expected - an arena. The door behind him was closed shut just as he entered the battlefield, surprising the young mage. "W-what's happening?" Kael muttered, glancing around in order to find someone who can answer his question.

Irving was opening the locker next to his bed in the barracks he was put in to sleep. The low ranked rune knights all were put in big barracks that were shared. Around thirty people slept in this building. All with bunk beds of 3 layers high. He changed in his jakuta. It was white with golden trimmings. He bound it close with a blue strap around his middle. He then sat on his bed while brushing his tail as he was reading the letter he received that day from the captain.

To determine what kind of division is the best for a new recruit. We send him to do all kinds of different tests. There are three tests in total and tomorrow on seven hundred hours your first one will be taken. You shall report to the arena sergeant in the north building. He shall lead you in to the arena were you shall await your opponent. The details about him will be disclosed on the location self. Your objective to defeat him. He shall think he was escaping. While we actually laid down all the tools to escape and leading him to your position. If you can take him down you will have shown your strong enough. A nice payment bonus will be added to your loan. Otherwise it’s a week toilet cleaning for you!

    Regards Captain Renald.

Irving put the letter in his locker again and was fully prepared. It was nearly the time to be there so he locked his locker and started to move out to the place he had to be. He bowed to and said good day to the rest of the barracks and then left for the arena. On his road toward the arena one of the female rune kngihts was in trouble as her cat was stuck in a tree. Irving stopped and helped the lady before he went further to his destination. But before he reached it another soldier had problem with his cleaning job so Irving helped him out to. And so he was ten minutes to late when he arrived at the arena.

“IRVING WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN. A SOLDIER IS ALWAYS ON TIME. AS PUNISHMENT YOU WILL ENTER THE FIGHT WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE. NOW GET IN THAT ARENA SOLDIER!”, the sergeant shouted to Irving. He was run on red and pretty angry. Irving had to stop helping everybody everywhere or he would never reach his destinations on time. But still he couldn’t let those people suffer.

“Of course sir. I shall defeat him in honor of the rune knights”, Irving bowed and then started to run to the door to the arena. He opened it quickly and saw a man standing on the other side of the arena. He seemed to be distracted.

“Good day sir. My insides say you’re evil so I won’t serve you. But seeing as you are the guest you can make the first move.”, Irving said to his opponent and bowed to him. But looked from the corners of his eyes to make sure he didn’t attack. This was going to be an interesting fight.

As the dark mage was waiting for something to happen, the lights around the arena started to open, showing a group of rune knights surrounding the bleachers surrounding the battlefield. They seemed to have been guarding the place as if they wouldn't let Kael escape, much to his dismay. He didn't plan to do something like this, but now that he's already inside, there's no backing down. The young mage decided to just go with the flow because that is the only thing he can do now other than run away and get squabbled by a group of soldiers. Kael was definitely confused, constantly glancing around in order to see something such as a clue to this mess.

“Good day sir. My insides say you’re evil so I won’t serve you. But seeing as you are the guest you can make the first move.”

A man said from the other side of the arena, bowing down to Kael as if he was a guest. The dark mage simply grinned and fit his hat on his head, staring at the man with a cocky grin. "Bleh, you think I'm evil, huh? Why don't you councilmen look at yourselves - you'll see the real evil." Kael said loudly, his eyes glaring at the other man's with intensity as if he's trying to exert pressure into the fray. What Kael said didn't really sound real, but based on his personal experiences, he does believe that the Magic Council is nothing but a corrupt place that only gives concern to the people they favor. That was the case in his childhood, when his village was raided and destroyed by the Council. He knew that by defeating the guy in front of him, he's gonna get one step closer to his goal, but for now, he must focus on getting out of here. Once he defeats this guy, he'll try to find away. "You said I'll make the first move, right?" Said the dark mage, punching both of his fists together. "Fine by me. TREMOR..." Two yellow circles surrounded both his hands, enchanting them with highly pressurized magic power. "...FISTS!" Kael swung both of his arms to his side, causing enough force to blow the dust behind him. After this, he rushed at Irving, aiming for his midsection.

Irving got back up after his bow as he saw the person getting angry. The other rune knights had opened windows so that they could look at the fight. Irving had no idea how this person would fight. But he wouldn’t back down. the person went off saying that the council men were evil. But that couldn’t be true he had to serve hem and he only served good people. He was probably just trying to get him off guard. These evil persons were very tricky he had to be careful. The light of the flames was the only light they had so it was a bit darker than if they would be fighting in clear daylight.

The dark mage called out that It was fine if he started and not long after he had coated his hands in a yellow light. so it was a melee fighter. Perfect for Irving. He was already in the advantage then. Well he would be. He took out his seal and pressed it on a paper he had with him. And showed toward the dark mage who was ruinning to him and nearly was on his location.

“GERCIAN BITER AND HURA THE SCALE THE TWINS OF FERIAN Come to me”, he shouted out and the paper burned up. The next second a sword and shield appeared in his hands. The sword was a short blade that began small but widened to the mid and became smaller near the top again. it had a golden hand piece. The shield was looking like a golden bronze shield. It had a lot of drawings on the shield. He moved his shield in front of him to cover his upper body and layed his sword on the top of the shield. Looking behind the shield and waiting for the opponent to come. This shield would help him to better block any melee attacks.

    100 -10 (90 % mana left)

Gercian biter and hura the scale the twins of ferian duration 4 posts.
