Personality: Depending on when you interact with him Harlequin can be two very different people. On one hand the jester side hes absolutely nuts he loves chaos and things exploding and wanton destruction 24/7 both on and off the battlefield. But should you be able to catch him outside of his crazed jester persona he's actually a calm and collected individual with deep seeded desires for a future without government control. When approached with a position of leadership Harlequin would immediately turn it down because he never wants to be responsible for others because they could get in his way if he gets boom boom crazy. It would be much easier for him to be in positions of following where he could follow a more direct path of someone else's commands rather then giving his own. He is however exceptionally hard to control and only people who he truly respects would have any sway over his actions or lack their of. One thing most people may not get is that his personality is almost split between his two personas with one balancing out the other in most cases. Chaos for order, erratic for calculated, two faces of the same coin it has always been that way. On one hand the performer the other hand the man behind the mask but both follow a similar set of edicts they just have a different way of doing so. Stepping away from his persona Jack could often be found reading sipping a cup of tea a completely different person but on days when he dons the mask he is usually found of usually heard first causing a ruckus like blowing up chairs or setting things on fire. Although chaotic in nature he does seek to be respected not just as a wizard but also as a performer something that he did not have when he was younger.
Likes:
-Performing: A performer by nature nothing beats giving a good show to someone who wants it or deserves it depending on how you look at it.
- Fire: Plain and simple fire is fun warm and can cause a lot of damage. It's just the best gift ever.
-Spiced Tea: What could be better then tea that's soothes as well as burns its the perfect way to unwind after a long day of burning things.
Dislikes:
-People who disrespect the guild: Disrespecting the guild or it's members is a sure fire way to get on Harlequin's list and that's a list no one wants to be on.
-Cold Tea: Tea should be served hot always drinking cold tea is like drinking a warm soda it just shouldn't happen.
- People who try to outshine his performance: You got two choices you either watch the performance or you become part of it there will be no upstaging Harlequin.
Motivations:
-To see the fall of government: Like most in his guild Jack wants to see the fall over government rule as people should be free to govern themselves without someone else's input.
-To regain his family's honor: Jack's family made some very poor choices in their past that ended up leading to massive shame as well as death due to deals gone wrong and the like. So Jack seeks to regain that honor in some way.
-The best show: It's out there somewhere the perfect setting the perfect performance and the perfect show all coming together in harmony there is no higher purpose for a Vikus Performer.
Fears:
Being Underestimated.: Sure he dresses like a clown but Jack fears being not considered to be a serious wizard or performer just because his style of attire or tactics differs from others.
Never succeeding his family: Jack hopes to one day surpass his family's bad legacy and create a better future for the next generation and fears he may not succeed at that.
Death: Despite his tendency to blow things up Jack fears his own death because he knows that the dark entity's his family made deals with would not let him have a pleasant afterlife but an eternity of torment and pain.
