Find The Lost Puppy! [Brink and Khalix]

Brink got back from finishing his job with Griffon In an extreme amount of time and he had went upstairs swiftly to throw off his wet clothes and change seeing as he always had spares up stair just in case he need some after a job was complete.

“Well that was interesting enough I suppose but I already want to go on another job…” Brink walked out of his living chamber that was still upstairs when from the second floor he could see a new member he had yet to go on a job with and seemed to be an interesting fit.

“Guess he will do wish we had more girls to do jobs with though even though dasher would kill me.” Brink let out a slight laugh even though no one could hear him talking to himself upstairs. Brink slowly walked down and torn another easy looking job off the wall to show to the young wizard who seemed to be built like a fighter which only made Brink more interested in what was going to happen. He tapped the man on the should to note someone was trying to talk to him.

“Hey new guy my name is Brink and you want to go on a job haven’t seen you really leave the Guild hall with any one yet so I will gladly help you out in getting some money or even just some experience in how Fairy Tail works out on a job.” He smirked a little wonder what the man’s answer would be as he stood with one hand holding the sheet toward him and the other in his pocket.

Pain was enjoying his day of relaxation, a bottle of rum in one hand and another mans arm in the other, a arm wrestling contest was going on and right now Pain was just staring at the man who's face was beat red. Growling the man tried to use all his weight and Pains arms moved about six inches towards the table. The young warrior took a long drink and than slammed the mans hand on the table with an agonizing snap.

The man screamed falling back holding his broken arm and glaring at the warrior. Pain slid the money on the table over to his hands and down into his pocket, he set his arm as he looked around for any other challengers. The others around the table looked over at the man on the ground holding his broken arm and to the muscle giant who was betting again, no one took the bat. He turned his head when the other Fairy tail member tapped his shoulder and took a long look at him. Looking at the paper he took it and read it over, his eyes examining the job he smirked as his heart strings were tugged at the thought of a lost dog out alone.

His eyes lifted up to look at the fellow member and smiled, nodding he grabbed his jacket and placed it on his shoulders, the sleeves hanging down he walked towards the door and turned his head. "Let's go." His voice was a deep Baritone matching his muscle mass and size.

Brink laughed as the man really thought he broke the Fairy Tail members are that dude used bone magic and he was trying to mess with the man. However, it seemed not to work which was strange for a legal guild member but it did not matter he was ready to go anyway so he followed the man out of the door.

“So seeing as we are going on a job what is your name and if you can tell me what magic you use so I can make sure to work around it if need be. Also when did you join seeing as I haven’t seen you around here.” Brink was talking as he walked toward the client’s house and wondering what type of dog he would have to find this time around. He put his hands back in his pockets walking at a steady pace not worried about going too fast seeing, as he needed something to do anyway.

“Also how old are you?” He was asking questions seeing as there was not much else to do on the walk toward the house. He let out a sigh as it was still cloudy but the lovely rain had stopped which was somewhat saddening however it was ok seeing as Brink didn’t want any random lighting coming down and striking him to which he exposed his magic which many people knew nothing about. He looked at the strange man seeing as he hand white hair just like him but it was more rugged but it didn’t matter he just was making observations.

Pain looked at the man as they walked down the street, the view of the city was still breath taking seeming to be a more open and peaceful town than Rose Garden from which he was from. The air was fresher, the people nicer, and no one was trying to rob you for a few Jewels that most didn't have anyway. Looking over the man he took in every aspect of his physical with a single observation.

His hand opened and closed as so many questions were asked and since they were going to be working together he figured he should answer. My name is Pain, and I use Physical combat magic." His words were clipped and short seeming to rather not talk and instead focus on the job ahead of them. They were on the way to the dogs owners house and he hoped it wasn't some little yapping rat of a dog.

The age question came up which made him smirk, he didn't look anything like his age suggested. Turning his head he looked at his fellow Guild Member. "Seventeen." His answer normally stunned those who worked with him since his years didn't look anything like his body. The young warrior grew up on the streets of Rose garden fighting, the tattoos on his body changed his physical appearance quite drastically. The Guild Tattoo that covered the entire right side of his face also made him look older than he actually was. He had insisted on it's location since he never wanted to hide that a small time Enforcer had risen up to join the legendary Fairy Tail guild.

Brink laughed as Pain answered his questions he could tell he was focused on the job at hand but it wasn’t that serious yet they were at the part where it was ok to be relaxed even goof off if need be. Before the battles that where sure to come ahead seeing as they were going it to probably have to go somewhere strange seeing as every dog loved a long nice adventure once and awhile.

“So you are seventeen seems about right. You really do not look any different from anyone in my book but then again my book is a little different from most peoples." Brink had a god father so really nothing surprised or even affected him when he was told it all seemed in the norm after he figured out his own life story. However, it was time to get serious now they were right in front of the clients home and he really didn’t want to have an impression of slacking which would lead to more questions he loved getting the information he needed then leaving for the fun part.

Brink knocked on the door three times when suddenly a cute woman swung open the door and pulled brink inside which he was used to seeing as most people did this when he knocked on the door. However, he stopped the woman and turned her around so he could get his information and go he sighed and wondered what type of dog would be awaiting their rescue.

Pain walked next to the man as they arrived at the house, his mind wondered about the job that was coming their way. He knew it would be a bit of a chase since dogs rarely came to people they didn't know and in a forest where it could just run free and have a good time it was going to be even harder. Brink knocked on the door brought him back to the present which a second knock and a looker opened the door. She had been crying that much was obvious.

He tried to relate but never having any animals of his own besides Sora which wasn't much of an animal being a Roc and a talking one at that he handled himself just fine. Looking at the woman he wondered about the details and what monsters he would get to fight. Looking at the woman who stood sobbing holding a handkerchief to her eyes as she wiped away the tears though it showed in her red puffy eyes.

Sighing he turned around to look at the street since he hated to see people cry especially women, the information was going to lead them to the job so he was very eager to get started. He wondered if they would be taking a carriage or if Brink would prefer travel by Roc though he would ask once they were out of ear shot of the woman. Pain preferred flying over any other mode of travel, for in the air he was able to go anywhere at a moments notice with no boundaries or restrictions.

Brink looked at the woman as she was crying and hugged her making her stop crying and her eyes widened as she hugged him back.  It was a nice moment but then he remembered he was on a job and he was going to get her dog back. So he pushed her off slowly as she understood that it was time to get to business.

“Hello Mrs. Hammelten correct? Therefore, we are from Fairy Tail here to help you get your dog back. All I need to know is when was the last time you saw him or her and which way he or she went. Also, if you can give use a picture that would be helpful.” Brink was still holding her hands to give her some comfort while he had to talk to her.

“Well he is… normal bulldog. Also the butler said he saw him heading toward the Spooky Forest thank you both for helping me.” After saying that she handed him a picture of the dog and there was something about it was strange then he noticed it was red which was unique and it made this job even more interesting. That was all he needed from her and then he waved to her as to say good-bye walking past Pain nodding to signal they were leaving.

“Well Pain it is a normal pit-bull however it has red fur and it is somewhere in the spooky forest we need to get a move on before it decides to move. “ He walked off as she closed the door he wondered how they were going to get there so that he did not lose the great tip.

Pain watched brink comfort the woman, after awhile the conversation ended between the pair. Nodding he followed Brink away from the house. Taking the photo he looked it over seeing the red fur on the bulldog and nodded. Pain liked dogs for not only were they loyal they were also very protective and great with kids. The dog made him smirk as he handed it back now that he knew he was looking for a red dog in a large spooky forest there wasn't much else to go on. Large woods meant big adventure and hopefully some pretty demon ghost girl he could flirt with while he was in there, a quick little fool around in the woods but he doubted he would get that lucky.

Pain could see that brink was ready to get to the forest quick so they didn't lose their lead. Nodding he laid his head back and sent out a piercing whistle to the sky. After a few minutes a shadow flew over them as a large bird landed in the street, it clacked it's beak and stared at the pair. "Brink, meet Sora. Soar, this is brink. Were going to the Spooky Forest for a dog." Walking over he climbed up and sat down in the saddle.

The saddle normally carried only one but adjustments had been made to carry up to three passengers without difficulty. Sora sighed and shook his head. "Off to the spooky forest huh...of course we want to go to a haunted forest yep that is fun and smart...must be a damn good dog." With that both turned to look at Brink and waited.

Brink laughed as he listened to Pain and Sora talk about the job. Brink looked at the bird and laughed as it reminded him of Garfield but in bird and adult form. He nodded his head, jumped onto the bird, and sat down.

“Well Nice to meet you Sora now let’s go so we can finish this easy job.” Brink closed his eyes and sat looking as the bird took off wondering how long it would take to get to the forest. He turned around and looked at Pain.

“So how long will it take for Sora to get use to the forest so we can get this dog.” Brink was not really focused on the answer as he slightly drifted off into his thoughts as he looked at the clouds, which started to clear up. He was quite relaxed on the bird, which was flying at a nice pace.

“Also when did you and Sora meet and how long as it been since you did meet. Also what made you want to take this job?” He was looking at him now seeing as they were getting quite close to the forest seeing as brink remembered the area from his C rank exam. He could still see the cracked earth where his and ebony s fight had happened. It was like a giant flash back to when he was still a D rank wizard like Pain was it made him feel as though he was helping with a bigger picture then himself.

Pain closed his eyes as they flew into the sky letting the sense of peace wash over him, flying always made him feel like he was completely free. However silence did not seemed to be on the menu that day as he let out a quick sigh which was stolen by the wind. "Well, Sora flies up to two hundred mile per hour, with the wind at our backs it's closer to three hundred. So in estimate time we should be there in about thirty minutes as long as things stay on course.."

More questions followed, Pain slid his fingers through the feathers and smiled. "Known this over grown Turkey since it was a chick, I found him after his mother was killed by some Poachers." Sora scoffed under him and tilted just a little to catch a updraft and get more altitude. "And this brain dead muscle gorilla has been under my wing since I could remember, always getting in trouble and picking fights."

Pain chuckled and looked down as the forest came into view, the trees were dark and ashy. "Looks like were here, and I chose the job because it seemed like fun." Sora landed outside of the forest and shook his large head. "I can't get into the trees but I will stay above the forest, if you need me whistle and I will fly in and pick you up. Pain...stay out of danger." Pain scoffed and jumped off Sora but gave his friend a gruff smirk and moved his head for Brink to follow.

Brink listened to Pain’s replies when he noticed they had come to a landing. He was happy that he could finally get on with the job and seeing as the dog would probably only be a mile into the woods seeing as this was a long journey.  He laughed as the two said there good bye and brink jumped off and stretched getting ready for a fight. Brink then let out a sigh and used his technique to sense electrons he could tell the dog was just a little bit into the forest. However, it was surrounded by  five what looked like vulcans.

“So looks like we are going to be fighting really early and have to watch out seeing as they are surrounding the dog.” Brink stretched a little more then he noticed it was going to be easy to find  the dog.  Brink then wasted no time sprinting into action and he didn’t pay any mind if Khalix was behind him or not but he was soon right in front of the group surrounding the puppies. He cracked his fingers and neck and got in a fighting stance.

“Hey ugly if you want to get that dog you are going to have to go through us and let me tell you know it will be the hardest thing you have ever done in your sorry lives.”  He made no movement wondering what would happen yet ready for anything as he waited for Pain to get there so he could see what the plan was going to be.

'Monster Dice' :

Pain charged in behind Brink only a step behind him, sliding to a stop when he saw the monsters he balled his fist and set his stance. His muscles pushed out as his eyes turned red around the iris. Taking in the dog he nodded to Brink first. "We need to get the dog first, I'll attack you grab the dog and than once the animal is out of the way we can go all out on these things. If you can throw the animal skyward Sora can grab him and than we can smash these things into oblivion." he kept his voice low just so they wouldn't be heard.

His legs bunched and the ground under his feet cracked, pushing off he rushed at his opponents aiming for the weakest among them first. Take out the weak than deal with the strong that was a sound strategy. Leaping forward he threw a punch aiming for the Vulcans face, a second attack of a powerful kick flew for the neck of the creature. Upon landing he turned and looked at the creatures really sizing them up to their full extent, so far they were a primitive race and one tracked minded. Pain was really enjoying this but he also felt bad that he wasn't anywhere near as strong as he possibly could be.

He knew at that moment he had to train harder to be stronger, more jobs to increase his experience in the guild, he had the strength now he just needed the experience to move forward and become one of the top members in the guild.

Brink laughed as the man ran in and took out the weak one after he missed his first punch with a devastating kick to the neck which send him flying into a tree as well as he blocked the attacks of two strong Vulcan that decided to attack him with ease.  He was a nice fighter however, in this world being a nice fighter would not take you to the highest of your potential.

“Guess this is my turn to show off some skill.” Brink took a deep breath then he shunpoed in the circle and threw the dog into the air. He then wasted no time attacking the Vulcan surrounding him he sent an array of attacks toward the four remaining people.

“This is going to get crazy get out of the way I don’t want to get you caught in my attacks.” Brink sent four punches toward the first Vulcan and then the same thing went to the second.  He then blocked the attacks coming from the two, which one actually got hit two hits off on him however; he would not let this happen again. He then turned around swiftly and sent a spin kicked the other two in the face sending them out ward slightly. However, Brink wasted no time using his shunpo technique two more times sending four punches at the last two Vulcan and with that they all fell to the floor taking so many hits even the strongest Vulcan would have trouble standing.

“Well that was interesting and now for the last bit of awesomeness.” Brink pulled his hand out and caught the falling dog. He then let out a sigh, let his body relax, and handed the dog to Khalix. He was ready to go seeing, as that was not as fun as he thought it would be.

Pain chuckled taking the dog and raised his hand, Talons flashed down from the trees grabbing both Pain and Brink lifting the out of the spooky forest before anything else could come in and attack them. Once in the air Sora dropped them, turning his body he flew under them in which pain landed in the saddle use to such a maneuver. Stretching out he growled a little after only taking out one opponent, it made him smash his fist into his hand and glares down at the forest below. The flight didn't last as long for Sora took every up draft and dive he could. Soon they were back over the city.

Sora landed outside the woman's house. Pain dropped from the bird than handed the dog to Brink who had done most of the fighting. "Your mission, your victory, your praise"grinning Pain also had done it so he would avoid the inevitable hug that would come with returning of the dog. Turning to look at Sora he shrugged and started walking off the other direction, Brink was a good fighter and hopefully more jobs would follow them but for now that mission was done and only needed the reward which he would accept his at the guild.

Climbing onto Sora he gave Brink a nod than leaned back as Sora took to the sky, a few flaps and they were high above the city and on their way back to the Fairy Tail guild. The thought of rum, rough housing, and the family feel of the guild. Not to mention a certain beautiful woman he was anxious to see.

Brink was surprised when Sora grabbed him and Pain then dropped them. He laughed as he landed safely on him again but feet first. He shook his head as he sat back down laughing as he was proud that two jobs straight he barely had a scratch on him.

“That was allot of fun man glad I invited you on this job.” Brink then jumped down from the Bird and took the dog walking toward the house again. He then knocked on the door and it swung open again and the lady instead of hugging him took the dog and then closed the door for a moment. Then as brink was about to turn around then he was grabbed again and was spun into a hug from the woman.

“Thank you boys for your great job! You have no idea what this means for you.” Brink simply hugged her back and wondered what was going to happen. He then pushed her away as he need to get back to the guild and take a break or maybe a nap. He then waved and walked away looking at pain to signal that he was going to back to the guild.

“Thanks for going on a job that last one with a dude named Griffon was kinda lame. Also you will make a fine warrior some day but for now keep working hard.” Brink then started walking off and that was the end of another job this one went even more smoothly then the last.

Approved but you guys have made a few mistakes. 

It seems that you have misinterpreted each other's moves and that's where the mistakes start. When Pain went in to punch and kick the weak Vulcan, the two block rolls are not meant to be his but the weak Vulcan's. In this case, that would mean that the weak Vulcan had avoided one punch and blocked the kick, though he receives some small damage. Brink, you were supposed to roll five attack rolls for your first strike (first four punches, second four punches, spin-kick, first shunpo punches, second shunpo punches) and for each of them your target should have been given a block roll. At the same time, when they attack you, they should have been given their own attack rolls, followed by your block roll.

In summary, the correct battle sequence is (assuming you are faster):

Your attack rolls.
Enemy block rolls.
Enemy attack rolls.
Your block rolls.
