Personally, Veil believes and respects the guilds highly, on more than one occasion they have protected the country and he doesn't see a reason not to like them. he loathes the dark guilds and has a cautious nature on the Independent. Sometimes he prefers to just walk across the country and see everything up close rather than the nice manicured areas next to the train tracks or roads. Often times he will take jobs on the other side of Fiore just to experience the travel on the way there.

3. Battle: Veil for all his kindness and friendly nature, enjoys testing what he has learned against the magic of others and seeing how much he can learn and how quickly he can dissect his opponents way of fighting. He sees it as his duty to learn and see every magic in the world to test his theory.

Dislikes: Closed off people, Veil doesn't like people who don't like to talk or hold a conversation. He understands some situations require seriousness but he can become extremely fidgety if he has to stay silent too long.

Criminals: Veil hates those who break the law, while he isn't a inflexible brute looking to punish every deed, he does feel that breaking the law should have punishment to fit the crime.

Dark Guilds: Veil dislikes dark guilds because of their nature to harm others, while he doesn't always hate the mage themselves as they may have joined just to belong somewhere, he does dislike those that will even hurt others just to feel like they belong somewhere.

Motivations:  Adventure: A big reason is his love of seeing new places and experiencing new things, seeing new cities and towns and helping people.

Helping others: The second is his desire to help others who need aid. His main goal of joining a guild instead of being a hermit in the mountains is the opportunity to help his fellow man.

Magic knowledge: This more than anything motivates Veil to do what he does. He wants to learn the deepest roots of all magic and how it connects everyone.

Fears: Failure: Veil fears being useless or a hindrance to his allies and fellow guild-members

Sickness: Veil hates getting sick and while he isn't a straight germaphobe he tends to put distance quickly between himself and someone who is sick.

Chickens: Don't ask why but Veil seems to have a fear of these small poultry birds. He has been known to move away or around these small birds but if necessary will resort to his magic to keep them away.

Appearance: Veil stands at six feet and weighs a lean muscular hundred and fifty pounds. He has a light complexion with a prominent Rune Knight tattoo on the right side of his neck in Silver. As mentioned he is a muscular athletic in build with a six pack stomach and well defined arms and legs. He is often found wearing the uniform of a Rune Knight which is cleanly pressed, boots polished, and insignia's polished. Veil has black hair that falls just below his neck, among the top of his head just under his hairline is a line of crosses seems to have been tattooed on. He has two Rune Knight insignia cuff-links on each cuff.

He wears a black top hat and carries a cane made of ironwood and topped with the ruin knight symbol. A pocket watch chain hangs out of his left vest pocket, and a pocket square sits snuggly in his left breast pocket. And a pair of white gloves on his hands.
