Job Description: A group of archaeologists in the middle of a dig in the Silent Glaciers is slated to return to the government-run research facility in Crocus in a week. However, before the archaeological dig was up, a distress signal was picked up from the Silent Glaciers, reporting of an important discovery as well a request for help. The job is automatically assigned to the Rune Knights, as they must travel to the Silent Glaciers to secure the discovery from the hands of others as well as rescuing the archaeologists. However, time is of the essence. The distress signal, out of desperation, was sent out over a public channel and was intercepted by another private research organization intent on obtaining the discovery for themselves, hiring dark mages to join the race. And in true form of the Magic Council’s shady side, expect interference from them as well as a secret group of soldiers that reports only to the Magic Council joins the hunt, not siding with the dark mages or the Rune Knights.

What was discovered by the archaeologists and how you handle the discovery is up to you. How you handle the three threats are also at your own discretion.

Blango - White-furred, ape-like creature with a bright red face. The skin beneath its coat is a dull purple color. Can reach a full height of six feet when standing up. Often attacks in packs of five. Has two attacks that deal B-rank damage: (1) can burrow underneath the snow and then jump out of the ground, knocking the target into the air, (2) can throw huge chunks of ice that deals blunt damage. Has 320HP.- Blango:
Bulfango – A gigantic, thick-furred wild boar that is resistant to cold temperatures. Appears in pairs. Only attacks with a tackling charge that deals B-rank single target spell stats. However, anyone hit by the charge will be stunned for one post. Has 320 HP. A large monster that stands tall at 5 feet. Imagine a Volkswagen Beetle charging at you.- Bulfango:

Blangonga – The alpha male of the Blangos, with an enormous height of 8 feet. It may or may not summon a pack of Blangos to launch an attack. Key attacks that deal A-rank damage at A-rank single target spell stats include: (1) Diving tackle that sends the target flying back, (2) throw two chunks of ice simultaneously, (3) a strong swing with the right fist. Has 400 HP.- Blangonga:
Naco Agul – The prowler of the plains. The hunter in white. The ultimate trophy of all hunters in the frozen glaciers. Naco Agul is a saber-toothed, cat-like monster that reaches the height of 5.5 feet. What the monster lacks in size is made up in speed. Naco Agul attacks two ways that deal A-rank damage at S-rank spell speeds: (1) Bite, (2) Slash. Has 320 HP.- Naco Agul:
Dark Mages – The dark mages sent by the private research organization to intercept the discovery. With a large amount of Jewels used, the dark mages hired are all at A-rank levels with 400 HP. - Enemy Rank: Boss
Kokurou Squad – One of the many shadowy units that operate under the Magic Council for clandestine missions. The squad is made up of five trained assassins, with the sole intention of slaughtering everyone that knows of the discovery and to bring it back to the Magic Council for their own purposes. They have been assigned to kill on sight. The leader of the squad is an S-rank mage, while the remaining four members are all A-rank mages.
Gammoth – A monster that resembles a Woolly Mammoth that is extremely hostile and will attack upon sight. The fur covering its huge body is mostly bluish, although it's also white and red on its trunk, legs, back and underside. It has brown plating covering most of its head and feet, as well as two tusks seemingly made of the same material. This plating is said to be extremely resistant to damage. The underside of its trunk seems to be covered in a scaly hide, and is lined with numerous spikes. Attacks include: (1) Snow Cannon: Shoots snow from its trunk that does A-rank damage and slows target by 20%, (2) Ice Charge: Encases its large legs in ice and charges towards the target to do S-rank damage, (3) Slam: Grabs the nearest target with its trunk, raises them up high and slam them back into the ground to do S-rank damage and stuns for 1 turn. Alternatively, Gammoth may do normal melee attacks with S-rank stats. The heavy plate armor on its head, feet and tusk cuts all damage by 50% if attacks happen to land on those parts. Has 700HP.- Gammoth:
