A Recreation is only successful if it is flawless, as an imperfection in the process leads to the item's recreation straying from the original, thus creating a contradiction in the reality of the object. A single item can only be one entity, after all. If one exact same item exists as two different entities it will defy the laws of reality and the world, in turn, will destroy that contradiction in order to preserve it's balance. Understanding that fundamental rule is only the beginning, though. In order to create a flawless Recreation one must be able to see and understand an object's material, life span, history, reason for creation and experiences, and to do that, one must be able to percieve the object as a whole, a result born from the afore mentioned parametres, but also as a primordial concept, lingering within the mind of it's creator.
But even all that is not enough to be able to Recreate something. The entire process of Recreation is an act of accessing a special magic curcuit within one's mind. The curcuit itself is special becouse it acts like a filter, taking in the magical energy of the individual and reforming it's properties, essencialy changing it into an extention of the caster's mind. It is this very same energy that is used to perceive the cause behind an object's current existence and it is also what the caster uses to access the blueprint that he has stored. But the blueprint is not stored directly inside the user's mind. Since it is created through the process of extending one's mind via magical manupulation and using that to grasp the existence of something, the blueprint is stored within the user's magical energy, so in order to access one such blueprint, one must link his mind with the entirety of his magical body. And doing all that greately strains the user both physically and mentally, becouse of which most of the people who have been blessed with the ability to perceive the existence of an object have either lost their sanity or died, due to inability to cope with the immense strain, and some would say anguish, caused by it.

Elemental, Light, Dark, Prismatic, Control, Summoning, Dissipation, Runic - he couldn't use any magic. The only thing he was good at was understanding. If he really wanted to, he could completely comprehend anything within minutes, regardless of how difficult, or even impossible, it may seem. Those around him saw that and tried to teach him to use magic, but to no avail. Aegis could easily understand how and why spells like the simple Fireball were created but, much to his distress, no matter how hard he tried, he could not cast them. The reason for that was not becouse he could not quite grasp the process of casting the spell, but becouse his magical energy was different.
When it comes to mages, what kind of magical energy they have determines what kind of magic will be easiest for them to master. Frost mages have magical energy that mostly amplifies the effect of frost-based magic, whereas earth mages have magical energy that primarily amplifies earth-based magic. There is, however, a type of magical energy that is omnipotent, but at the same time greately limited. This is the magical energy that is completely devoid of characteristics. The "pure" energy. This is one of the rarest types of magical energy to have ever existed and, in of itself, is completely useless. Since it has no characteristics at all it can not be focused into a specific magic type, since a magic type is basically magic with specific traits. All that the "pure" magical energy is, is a conceptual potential to influence a given plain of existence through magic, and becouse of that there is not a single person who should be able to use it. But Aegis is special.
The knight was born with a magical circuit within his mind that is capable of taking that magical energy and then extend the range his mind, granting him inhuman insight into a specific object or action, or reform it, turning it into the physical manifestation of a flawless thought, essentially Recreating it. His ability to completely understand the plane of existence around him on a level far exceeding that of a normal person allows him to even create blueprints of motions, provided he can extend his mind to the link connecting the motion and it's original creator in some way without being interrupted.
This is the magic the knight Aegis Bright has been gifted with. The capability to store blueprints of material and immaterial entities alike and Recreate them flawlessly when the need arises.
The usage of Aegis' Recreation
Aegis uses his Recreation to create and store blueprints of different weapons and techniques. Since using this magic strains him, he can not constantly switch weapons or use techniques because that will just end up killing him.
The knight has also chosen to walk the path of the ultimate swordsman instead of that of the weaponmaster, so as such he has only one weapon and many different techniques.
Weapons
The weapons Aegis stores and Recreates are also his primary source of offensive capabilities when combined with his masterful skill with most kinds of melee weapons.
The knight only stores weapons with either special qualities or special meaning to him so as a result he has a very limited selection of weapons.
Also, in order to be able to Recreate a weapon he has to first destroy it's original, since having the very same entity exist twice in the same plane of existence contradicts the laws of the world, becouse of which the plane of existence will destroy the Recreation of the original entity in order to preserve it's balance.
The creation of a flawless blueprint requires comprehension of the weapon's creation materials, history, lifespan, reason for creation and experiences (which are the parametres of an entity), acquired through extension of one's mind to the entity and perception of it as a whole, created out of the combination of all of it's parametres, and as a primordial concept, lingering within the mind of it's original creator.
The Recreation of the weapon requires Aegis to look into his mind and search his magical body for the blueprint, after which he has to concentrate in order to temporarily place it in his human mind, thus making it possible to visualise it. After that all he has to do is trace it's parametres with his magic.
Techniques
Due to his gift, Aegis is also capable of storing different weapon techniques alongside his weapons.
In order to successfully create the blueprint of a technique, he needs to be able to calmly analyze the technique, regardless of wether he is watching someone use it or seeing it's description stored somewhere (a scroll, for example). When he extends his mind over to the person or object storing it he has to reach the link that connects the entity of the technique to it's creator, whose existence contains it's primordial concept. If he manages to complete that without being interrupted then all that would be left to do is comprehend the parametres of the technique, which are the same as the parametres of the weapons, with the one exception that the techniques do not have a creation material, and create the blueprint out of the knowledge he discovers.
In order to Recreate a technique Aegis has to do the same things he does when Recreating weapons up to the point when he places it in his human mind. However, instead of visualising it, he layers the blueprint, consisting of every motion of the sequence show at the same time, with his vision. By doing so he places the blueprint, only visible to him, within the boundaries of his plane of existence, thus allowing himself to easily follow the blueprint and execute the technique flawlessly.
Note that Recreating techniques puts greater strain on Aegis' mind and body then Recreating weapons, however he can prepare a technique for execution and keep it that way until he decides to actually execute it, meaning that in prolonged battles he can prepare several techniques at once and execute them in combination, though the repercussions of such an action will most likely be severe.
Becouse he can only use Recreation magic, he does not have any magical spells. He does, however, compensate that lack with his stored techniques, having them act as spells for him.
Strengths:
- Has good utility, provided Aegis has stored a variety of blueprints for different situations.
- Very strong melee capabilities, combined with his masterful weapon skills.
- Because the weapons are made by his magical energy, the weight he feels is very small, so fighting long battles does not tire him as much.
- Because using Recreation magic strains him, Aegis has trained his body to be able to endure continuous usage of magic, effectively making him stronger, faster and more endurant than most.
Weaknesses:
- Recreating entities too frequently puts enormous strain on Aegis which can lead to physical enjury, loss of memory, falling unconscious or even death.
- Can have little to no support abilities, depending entirely on the properties of the weapons or techniques.
- Most, if not all, abilities are for close-ranged.

During the incantation he focuses entirely on his inner self, his inner world. Upon completion of the incantation, he merges his body, mind and magical energy. The air around him starts to ripple and white aura starts eminating from his body. The knight's magical core starts to expand his inner magical world, reflecting it upon the reality around him. His "pure" magical energy completely envelops the surroundings, altering the area, morphing it into a world of infinite creation where the boundaries of an existence's reality do not exist.
Within this boundary field Destruction, Creation and Recreation magic are greately empowered (40% stronger, works for both allies and enemies) and allies get revitalised, at the expense of Aegis' Magic Resistance and life energy. Also, due to the nature of Aegis' magical energy being "pure", allies can draw it from the field Aegis has created, granting them magical energy for one last attack, aswell as removing the cooldowns of some of their spells (see Strenghts).
Strenghts:
- Greately empowers Aegis' Recreations, aswell as any kind of Creation or Destruction magic any ally may have. (Destructive spells of different types of magic count as Destruction magic)
- Heals minor wounds allies might have, restores their endurance and gives them strength and magical energy for one final powerful attack. (Applies to Aegis himself)
- Removes the cool-down of 1 A-rank spell, 2 B-rank spells or 4 C-rank spells of allies, of their choosing. (Applies to Aegis himself as well)
- While it is active, Aegis is capable of using Unending Projection: Blade Barrage without limits.
Weaknesses:
- Aegis forfeits his Magic Resistance skill for the duration of this event and will need to wait 3 posts after it has ended in order to recover it
- Using this ability is the ultimate gamble. If used at the right time it can make victory certain. If used at the wrong time, however, it could very well mean anihilation for both the knight and those around him.
- Due to the inhuman ammounts of anguish and pain this entire process creates for Aegis, after it ends he will lose his consciousness for 1-6 posts, the exact number being left to chance. The enormous strain also causes some of his smaller blood vessels to break, making his entire body start bleeding, which can lead to bloodloss unless treated. He may also receive a more serious physical injury (broken bones, for example).
- The spell potency increase is also applied to any and all enemies caught within the field.
- If Aegis is unable to finish the chant (be that becouse of magical silencing, physical damage or any other type of interrupting event) he can not achieve the level of focus needed to activate the power.

Since the magical energy of the knight is absolutely pure, it is practically life energy. Thanks to that fact, it makes any damage he has sustained regenerate ridiculously fast while he is outside of combat. More specifically, he regenerates 45% of his maximum health every post while not in combat.
