Job Title:Rune Hunting 1/5
Rank: D
Player Requirements: D Ranks or above.
Job Requirements: 3-7 players, 1000 Words minimum. Defeat both bosses.
Job Location:Sukai
Job Description: It was a nomral day at your guild and everything was peaceful. That is until a weird message appeared. "Do you seek power? Fame? Glory? Perhaps all three? Or perhaps money? Then head to the Sukai Ruins. However...what thou shall find there might not be what you expected if you are too strong" Thinking about it it was decided that a group of mages (to which you belong) would go and investigate the Sukai Ruins.
Your group managed to reach Sukai safe and sound. However while you were walking through a forest on your way to the ruins...you were ganked. A local gang of mages decided to attack you and steal your bellongings and maybe kill you in the process. Why? For the fun of it of course.
Now what you must do is to defeat the gang and make your way out of the forest. On the other hand being killed by the gang may be a better choice. Why? Because the forest is filled with magical beasts! Which you may or may not encouter of course.
Enemies:
Weak: Pyro-Biker x10: Members of a mage gang. They wear black leather clothes and ride bikes on their free time. They attack using flames. They deal 1/2 D rank damage. Need to receive 1.5 D rank damage to be deffeated.
Normal: Poisonus Thugs x5: Some more members of that mage gang. They look like junkies and attack using needles or poisonus liquid. They deal 1.5 D rank damage. They go down when they receive 3 D rank damage.
Strong: Four Black Shadows: When strong opponent is rolled these four appear. They are second only to the leader of this group. They need to be defeated before the boss appears. (if boss is rolled before them, then treat the roll as a strong monster roll)
Boss:
Reward: D-Rank EXP and 5,000 Jewels per player (taken from the mage gang), and the Shadow Rune Ring
Rank: D

- Nikolas-The Pimp:
- An awful person that rapes and pimps young girls. He is one of the Four Black Shadows, the four right hand men(?) of this gang's leader. Nikolas uses a whip, which's speed he amplifies with his magic. He is as fast and strong as a C rank. Takes 2 C rank damage to be defeated.
- Rob-The Wall:
- The gang's fatest member. He is a murdere and a dealer. He used body strengthening magic. Thus he deals C rank damage. However his is so fat that his speed drops. He moves at 1/2 C rank speed. It takes 1.5 C rank damage to defeat this one.
- Jian Ling-The Hooker:
- The only female of the group. She serves as the toy of the gang. Also she is the only member that has a not so illegal job. She uses steel fans to attack. However she doesn't hold them in her hands. She guides them with her magic. She deals C rank damage. It takes 2 C rank damage to take her down.
- Vango-The Slayer:
- A mysterius guy. He wields two scimtars, each 2m long. It is rummored that he has killed over 100 men and even more children. He can control the his blood, providing that it is out of his body. He deals C rank damage and goes down with 2 C rank damage.
Boss:
- Costas The Shadow:
- The boss of this mage gang, Costas. He can manipulate shadows and also is a capable ninja. Hits by his shadows deal B rank armed damage. It takes 4 C rank damage to defeat him.
However Costas is a con! He actually is no mage. Instead he uses a magical ring that gives him the abilities he has. It could be valuable if you took it.- Spells:
Shadow Kunai: A smart kunai, that will follow it's target till it hits or it is blocked/destroyed. It deals B rank damage.
The Claws: Costas creates 2 katars made out of shadows. This remain on his hand for 2 posts and make his attacks deal additional damage equal to C rank armed damage.
- The Beasts:
- A second boss. Can only be fought after the first boss is defeated. This boss is simply a wave of magical beast that live in the forest. The wave consists of 30 beasts. 20 of them deal half D rank damage, 10 deal D rank, 5 deal 1.5 D rank damage and the other 5 deal C rank damage. It takes a hit of any rank to defeat one beast. So it takes in total 30 hits of any rank to defeat all of the beasts.
Reward: D-Rank EXP and 5,000 Jewels per player (taken from the mage gang), and the Shadow Rune Ring
- Shadow Rune Ring (Quest Item):
- The ring previously worn by Costas. It has a weird rune carved on it. It seems like the abilities the ring grants the user come from this rune.
It's a quest item, it will be needed later. However it can be worn by one of the mages that took part in this job. Although if worn it can only be used on the next jobs of this series (Rune Hunting 2/5, Rune Hunting 3/5, Rune Hunting 4/5 and Rune Hunting 5/5). When worn the wielder gains the same abilities as Costas, however all damage done is decreased to match the user's rank.
