Personality: Zeref is seemingly a very calm and confident man, refusing even in dire situations to show anyone any fear in himself. His personality framed by a dark nature as he feels that the line between dark and light is a mere illusion cast upon their hearts, his philosophy that all is dark in the world of magic but what matters is who understands this and knows what is right. He is confident in his own abilities and seeks a path of power within the Wizarding world, this a simple path with his view that all magic is dark magic and should not be shunned due to the ruling of light and dark. Zeref has little remorse for life and seeks only to become a great and renowned wizard, despite his regard for life, Zeref when met in person shows no sign of his own feelings. In fact it is easy to assume he cares for others and that he is a man who walks a path of light, this is in fact due to his personality being split into two. Zeref is broken between light and dark himself, his philosophy and all remains the same as the darkness he holds dear, but his actions and his "light" side constantly withdraws his darkness into himself. So when met Zeref is light hearted and cheerfully outgoing, but when in battle this "light" is cast aside and the darkness inside of him is let loose allowing for his true judgment of others to be passed unrestricted. Without the right battle trigger Zeref will remain a calm and collected man, not wanting to agitate to world around him. This light side is to Zeref like a barrier to help him maintain a life with in the magic world unhindered by his dark philosophy he keeps inside, the darkness that makes Zeref constantly at battle with his light can also sometimes create a burst in personality letting out the darkness at times that least call for it. • The Color Black: Zeref finds the color black to be rather comforting and relaxing when it is present.
  
• The Study of Magic: Zeref finds reading and studying different magics (even those he can't use) to be utterly intoxicating and can be lost in the study for hours at a time.
  
• Birds: Zeref enjoys watching birds fly, something about their flight and freedom keeps him at ease.
  

Dislikes:

• The Color Pink: The color literally causes sick feeling for Zeref.
  
• The Smell of Roses: Zeref has allergies to Roses and will begin sneezing rather profusely in the presence of roses.
  
• Cooking: Zeref hates cooking, this is due to how often he burns food and fails to cook it correctly.
