Personality:  If one would ask Thestalos to describe himself he would barely utter a word for he believes that his actions alone would speak for themselves. A breakdown of his actions would show that he is someone who could be relied on, someone who wasn't afraid to go through great lengths for others, someone who won't back down from a fight even if the odds may be against him. These traits make him both a  great fighter and a true ally to anyone who can get past his more gruff features and attitudes. At times in the thick of combat he has been known to make cold remarks towards opponents desiring not to spare them as they wouldn't do so for him this is because many of his memories are of battle and very little mercy was ever given in those times. As a follower as part of a group or guild Thestalos will follow orders as they are given but only if they do not clash with his personal edicts. He will ignore some of his edicts if it is for the greater good both for allies and his guild. As a leader he issues orders and leads his team with the tactical mind of a great warlord drawing on old experiences to try to find the best way to lead his group to a victory. Some of his personal edicts rely around the old codes of Samurai Bushido following some tenants of them which were used as a means to both better oneself not only as a warrior but as a person in general and it is these codes that drive him to further himself both on and off the battlefield. One that tends to get Thestalos into trouble is that when it comes to duels being issued even if Thestalos has no chance fighting an opponent one on one is considered a very honorable way to fight and one he respects to the depth of his core.
Likes:
- Fighting. This doesn't mean to say he likes to pick fights but a friendly spar here and there is a great way to train as well as learn about your enemy and friends alike. For battle is the only true teacher.
- Hard Candy. Although he actually lacks the ability to consume it putting hard candy in between his teeth reminds Thestalos of a time when he could and helps his connect to his humanity.
- Taking care of his swords. Considered to be the most cherished equipment of a Samurai the Daisho are given great care cleaned and sharpened daily or as needed if battle is heavy.
Dislikes:
- Dismemberment. To be fair who wouldn't dislike this sure it doesn't kill Thestalos but boy is it a pain in the ass to recollect bones and put them on correctly without help.
- People who fight dirty. This would only apply in a situation where an opponent would fight honorably and someone fights them dirty anyways simply to win. Winning should be based on skill not dirty tactics and foul play.
Sunlight. It's just too damn bright always shining and stuff I hate it.
Motivations:
- Honorable Death. When his task is done and there is nothing more for him to do Thestalos seeks an honorable death through combat and upon his loss he would request an opponent to remove his head with his own blade as a true symbol of his defeat.
- Justice. Injustice must be righted innocent souls must be avenged for this is the only true way of samurai ronin or not.
- Finding his purpose. There must be a reason Thestalos rose again and he constantly searches for what that reason maybe and he will travel great distances to find out what it is.
Fears:
- Removal of his Soul. Being that his soul remains his main source of being alive or undeath removal of it would lead Thestalos to be destroyed.
- Corruption of his Soul. Although a ronin Thestalos still has a set of moral code he follows and edicts of his own and he know how easily some souls can be controlled.
- Never belong. Roaming for years alone Thestalos just wants to become a part of something larger than himself. He doesn't have to save the world but he wants to be a part of it.
- Being Feared. Thestalos has been undead for as long as he can remember other than fragments of his past life he knows that many people might fear him which is why he hides himself.
