Gatos is a combat companion that accompanies Enigma.
Shortly after arriving at the kingdom of Fiore, Enigma came across a strange Egg surrounded by hungry Vulcans. He defeated the Vulcans and took the Egg to a safe location until it hatched. Out of the egg came a cat-like creature. A male Exceed. Enigma gave him the name "Gatos", which means "male cat" in his mother language. He decided to raise him and travel the world with him.
Strangely enough, Enigma is afraid of cats, but not Gatos.
