Requirements: Defeat a "Rogue" Mage that has strayed from the path of justice. (1 Boss)
Location: Forgotten Desert
Description:
The rogue mage has caused havoc after killing everyone in his guild, including the guild's master! The Magic Council has put a valuable award to stop this rogue mage. It is said his locations are at the Forgotten Desert, be wary for he is a Sand Mage!
Enemies:
Weak: 20 Wicked Vultures (C-ranked)
These creatures are much like normal vultures, but seem to have been enhanced magically to be stronger and faster. They also are deadlier of their target is exhausted.
The vultures deal C-ranked damage per hit plus one more C-ranked damage for every 5% of mana their target is missing.
Normal: 5 Giant Scorpions (B-ranked)
A somewhat typical encounter for the desert. They are 1 metre high and three metres long, and boast great strength, capable of lifting 20 times their own weight. Their stingers also contain a very potent poison, dealing B-ranked damage per post for 4 posts to anyone who is affected by it.
Strong: 3 Sand Golems (B-ranked)
A magical apparition formed entirely of the element of sand. As such, they can not be harmed by purely physical attacks. The golems are also capable of making pillars of sand erupt from the ground beneath their target within moments from any range, thus making them very dangerous. It is their primary form of offence.
Boss: Rogue Mage (S-rank)
The man you were sent to defeat. He wears typical desert garments and wields powerful sand magic. It takes 8 A-rank damages to take him down.
Prize: 30,000 jewels each. If he is defeated via penetrating Sand Storm's shield, everyone will be rewarded with 45,000 jewels.

- Spells:
- Sand Cleaver (B-rank): By swinging his arm, the mage is capable of firing a crescent-shaped jet of pressurised sand. This attack completely ignores armour and magic resistance. It has no cool-down and is his primary damage source.
Reflection Shield (A-rank): By forming a barrier of sand and super heating it, the mage creates a wall of magical glass which is capable of deflecting and reflecting projectile spells below A-rank. Can withstand up to A-rank damage before breaking. Lasts 4 posts, cool-down is 4 posts as well.
Curse of the Sands of Time (S-rank): He releases a shock of magic in a 70 metre radius around himself. Anyone who is hit by it suffers B-rank damage and has all spells below H-rank put on a 5 post cool-down. The spell has a cool-down of 7 posts. He will use this spell every time it is off cool-down.
Backlash (S-rank): If a player has at least 1 B-rank or above spells on cool-down, the boss can fire a car-sized sand projectile at him that deals A-rank physical damage. If the person is protected by a magical barrier, Backlash deals no damage to them, but instantly shatters the barrier, regardless of what rank it is. There is no cool-down or limit to how much this can be done.
Sand Storm (S-rank): Once he has received 6 A-rank damages, the rogue mage will cast a spell to manipulate the entire desert. It takes him one post to finish casting it during which he is guarded by a very strong shield. If he manages to cast it successfully, the entire desert gets engulfed in a sand storm, increasing all the rogue mage's spells' rank by 1, obscuring players' field of vision greatly and causing them to suffer B-ranked damage every post. This spell lasts until the mage is defeated.
But if players manage to break his shield while he is casting, all the magic he has been gathering will destabilize and explode within him, dealing S-ranked damage and finishing him off. It takes 4 A-ranked spells to break the shield, meaning it is very sturdy, but the mage can not evade attacks, so rolling attack dice is unneeded.
