The 13th Zodiac

In Fairy Tail and in astrology there were 13 Zodiacs, Ophiuchus the snake charmer. I understand that the Golden Keys aren't totally popular around here but I personally and perhaps a few others would be interested if we had the 13th Golden Key available.(A case for Cetus the 14th Zodiac constellation may be made at a later date, but that was never referenced in fairy tail yet.)

Technically... the 13th key isn't a golden zodiac according to the Fairy Tail wiki, while yes, it is considered the 13th gate, it's a black key, not a golden one ^^;

And in astrology itself, it's not an official zodiac either as it's during two different zodiacs and not in the official zodiac list.

As a fan of the 13th zodiac regardless, I honestly don't see why one couldn't make it in general though if they have summoning magic since it's not in the list already :3

Still, in the anime they always treated Ophiuchus as a Zodiac Key.

Also looking at her Key in the anime, it was made to look golden.

Also there is the matter that what seemed to make a Zodiac a Zodiac in the anime was more focused on constellations rather then the astrological dates.

The constellation is there, I do not see why we cannot at least just add Ophiuchus to the list as it's own separate thing like "Black Key" or forbidden key. It is hard to deny that it is a Zodiac Key, even if not golden.

Also on that last point I agree, but then one might have to make it an immaculate, but also then we run the possibility of several people having an Ophiucus, which can take away what is special about it. I may be wrong but believe several people have made an Ophiucus in the past...

As has been said, Ophiuchus is actually a Black Key despite its golden appearance. In Fairy Tail lore it is actually not one of the actual 12 Zodiac Keys despite having an eclipse version in that one arc. I would have to watch it again to remember the events and reason there, but even then that particular key is a separate thing from the official Zodiac line.

As for there being several Ophiucus in the past on this site as a normal summon, I have yet to see even one.

That said, I don't care either way if it gets added or not. If Ophiucus had been there when I applied I might have gone for that one. It's an interesting one. I wouldn't be opposed to another key category being added in the future that has Ophiucus as well as some made up black/forbidden keys. Adding it for just one key like you suggested is kind of silly, imo. However, I also don't think it's needed at this point when summoners going for keys is pretty low right now.
