The Awkward Redhead

"Hmm.."

Natsumi said aloud as she stood outside the Eclipse Soul guild hall, which is now her new home. She looked to both of her sides and then in front of her, where the heavy doors stood tall and proud.

As Natsumi had pushed the doors open, she was greeted with more noise than she was used to. People were bustling about and shouting, some were fighting and some were drinking. She slightly giggled, as this had seemed like more of a home to her than her old home was.

Natsumi was too shy at the moment to approach anyone, so she sat down on a heightened bar stool to await someone's introduction, hoping that someone would be kindhearted enough to approach the awkward redhead.

Kyll walked out of the kitchen into the tavern smiling with a piece of her award winning cheesecake. The closed eyes mage looked at the tavern to see a rather short red headed girl. The aura she carried. Sort of like Kyll's. Warm to the sight and very welcoming. She smiled as she grabbed a fork and placed the plate down on in front of the newcomer. "Welcome," Kyll said with a happy smile. She walked back into the kitchen then came out with a mug of coffee. "Here." She walked behind the bar and put her elbows on the counter top. She interlaced her fingers and then sat her chin on the bridge. "So how can I help you?"

Natsumi began to stare off into space, losing her sense of concentration. Her thoughts drifted away until she saw a small dish placed in front of her with cheesecake on top of it. Natsumi looked up to see the woman who put the dessert in front of her wish her a welcome to this guild. She had a warm aura. Natsumi assumed that this woman was one of the people who ran this guild, as she seemed very kindhearted, and this guild was used to take in those who are lost to give them a family. This woman did not seem lost at all, nor did she seem as if she was on the verge of turning evil. She had the presence of a leader.

Before Natsumi could thank the lady, she disappeared into the kitchen, then returned with a mug of coffee. Natsumi was shocked at how nice the members of this guild really were. She smiled at her and bowed slightly.

"So, how can I help you?" The woman asked, her voice gentle and innocent.

"Erm.." Natsumi appeared to be confused, as she was. She did not know what she actually needed help with.

Natsumi straightened up in her seat "Well, I don't know exactly what I need help with. I just joined this guild, and I decided to make my appearance in the guild hall today." Natsumi spoke the truth about being confused, and then giggled a slight giggle after her sentence which faded off into the air.

Mishi walked towards the guild's main hall as he straightened his hat and fixed his tie, the mage had just finished another training session and needed to grab a bite to eat after all training really builds up an appetite. Mishi entered the main hall to see that most everything was the same the same old arguments, the same old jokes, the same old party with one new face that is, next to the familiar welcoming face of Kyll sat a new mage that Mishi had never seen before a short red haired girl. Mishi tipped his hat as he approached the pair “Hiya Kyll just the women I was looking for, got any food left for an after training snack?” Mishi then turned to the new mage and with his usual smile and boaw asked “Mishi Gonyma at your service, and you are?”

✠AIAN KAMUY✠ "To protect life. To destroy life. Sometimes they are the same thing." A slender, small man was leaning in the corner along the shadows of the Guild Hall; observing everyone around him. Though he was part of the guild, he never truely felt connected with most of his guildmates other than those whom he considered his friends. Though he had changed much sense he joined, he was still unsure of when an attack can come up from his darker half, Kamuy, putting those whom he meets at risk. While the rest of the guild interacted with itself; he kept to himself quietly with a smile on his face as he watched humans be humans. Though throughout the activity he did detect a new scent enter the familiar zone of his home at the Guild Hall doorway. He turned his head in time to see Kyll immediately try to take care of the new member almost as soon as she came into the door. Aian kept his eyes sharp as he began taking notes along the new member to see if she would make a good friend or not; too shy to confront her. TAGS: people. WORDS: number. NOTES: here here here.
