Back again.
He wasn't one hundred percent sure why. Somehow, the lady from before the boring herbalist. She had found him, which was quite surprising seeing as the clown didn't have any particular habits that he followed. He had just been wandering through another town, after having played a little game with the late Erica Potter in Clover Town. Having returned from his 'mystery jogger' disguise, into his normal self. The herbalist had caught up to him travelling on to find his next 'game'. Yet, she had approached him, having tracked him down, she begged him to come back to her village. For apparently, things had gotten worse, something to do with the weeds.
He had been studying them for a while and noticed some 'curious' properties about them. Especially following the information she had given him last time. So, he agreed, 'saving these people'. Wasn't his intention in the slightest, but the clown was curious, he wanted to learn more. So they arrived via carriage in the village, and the sight he was met with was quite exciting. It was chaos, homes were locked up, it was obvious the people were cowering away. The animals that lurked were primary mammals, however regardless of what they were. Whether it was fur, skin or feather, it had algae growing from it. They were especially aggressive too, this excited Jester even more. He wanted to test them, to see what they could do. The carriage pulled to a stop, and before the Herbalist could say a word, Jester as hopping out of it. Showing no care nor caution. He wandered forward towards the middle of the town, quickly catching the attention of all of the creatures.
He snapped his fingers, and around him, several Harlequin Dolls appeared. With a nod of his head, they ran out towards the mammals. The first found themselves flocked by a group of chicken, they pecked away angrily at the Harlequins body, Jester allowed the Harlequin to take some of the damage. To measure the chicken's ability, before ordering the Harlequin to attack. With a quick few slashes of their machete, the chickens were chopped to pieces, feathers flying everywhere. Then there were pigs, Jester only allowed one bite, before having his doll slice the pig up. There was a pattern here, he noticed. He turned on his heel, to two Harlequins, both of which were surrounded by Wolves. This fight was a little more volatile to watch, Jester watched as the wolves managed to overpower one of the Harlequins completely. Ripping its robotic body to shreds. Still, it didn't matter, he cleared his throat and the other harlequins ran forward to join the one fighting the wolves. There may have been more wolves, but the robots were more agile and their attacks did more damage. It was enough to get rid of them with ease. Jester summoned an additional Harlequin, positioning it to his far left. He didn't know why, but he sensed he needed a contingency plan.
And the menacing growl the followed proved him right. He heard the large roared as the bear reared up behind him. As the bear came crashing down. Jester was suddenly gone and in his place was the spare Harlequin he had summoned. As the bear began to lay into the doll, laid his palm out. In his hand, appeared a colourful set of knives, with pretty tassels around the handled. Jester would take aim, before throwing the knives. They each buried themselves inside of the giant mammal. One in it's the stomach, another it's shoulder, one in its thigh and lastly, one in its head. The bear crumpled to the floor dead, crushing the destroyed remains of the doll beneath it. Jester skipped over excitedly, eying over the bare. He yanked out one of the knives and began to scrape off the purple algae. This stuff, he really needed a sample of.
