Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony Empty Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony

Post by Kyran 19th March 2019, 4:46 pm

Kyran peered around the chapel. It really was a magical place. They were lucky to have found it. Even more lucky that it was able to transform into whatever they wanted. Kyran had spent a long time molding the chapel into an exact image of the chapel in his books. A lot of it was living flame to bind together the dark phoenixes and their chosen mates. It looked more beautiful than Kyran had initially imagined it to be. His head was on a swivel trying to take in the entirety of the interior.

"Stop that" Masha growled at him. She was attempting to fix his suit. Apparently he'd put it on all wrong. "Head forward. Don't move." The succubus muttered under her breath as she buttoned, straightened and generally undid everything Kyran had made a mess of. The Blood mage kept his attention elsewhere during that time. He had no need to upset his sister. Not now when her outburst would probably wreck the carefully set up ceremony. A shiver ran through his body. Gaia would chase both of them around with a giant knife if they messed this up.

Couldn't this have been more of a naked wrestling match? Make her submit before making her yours? Medea piped up. She'd been rather bored with the whole marriage prep. Ahriman and Erebos seemed equally bored. Malinda on the other hand was suspiciously helpful with little hints. Kyran suspected the snake had something planned for the wedding night. Not that there would be much other than cuddling. As such, the redhead wrinkled his nose at the cat's suggestion. Even that small movement drew a glare from Masha. No moving, right. His mind drifted toward tonight, after the wedding ceremony.

After his daughter's death and the prospect of potentially never having kids, Kyran had grown less and less interested in sex. Instead he revealed in simply spending time in Gaia's company, massaging her shoulders, propping up against her legs to read or write. He was trying to learn new recipes to cook for her too. Nothing overtly sexual had happened for at least a week. Probably the reason Malinda was coiled to strike when she had the chance. This might be her last chance in a long time. Kyran didn't know how his recent attitude change regarding sex was affecting Gaia. She might kick him out of the bed entirely.

"There, all done." Masha said straightening. She fluffed her hair a bit. "Now there is my dashing older brother. You look positively scrumptious!" The succubus beamed before flouncing away. She probably wanted to prepare her speech. Kyran chuckled, happy that for once, his sister was wearing something appropriate. A suit encased her from head to toe. It was in the colors of Dies Irae, the guild Masha had recently joined. The blood mage hoped that it would help her through her rough patch. The smiling happy woman he'd met originally seemed to be rapidly disappearing. Masha tried to keep up appearances but Kyran was her big brother. He had a supernatural ability to tell that something was wrong. That his little sister was fraying at the edges. He was frustrated at his inability to help her whatsoever.

Now was not the time for such thoughts however. The music was about to begin. The people needed to be in their seats. Aodhfin, Masha's holy phoenix companion, would be officiating the service. He needed to be on stage. Kyran needed to be on stage himself. It wouldn't do much good for the groom to be missing when the bride walked up the isle. The blood mage turned away from his view to begin herding the small wedding party and guests together. It turned out Masha was already going about it. There weren't many there for Kyran. He didn't go out of his way to make friends. It simply wasn't in his nature. All he needed was Gaia and Masha. Maybe a select few others like Yona. That was it.

Satisfied that his best man - sorry woman - had things handled, Kyran approached the stage. He paused before it. An inexplicable feeling clutched his breast. A great dread pushed down upon his shoulders. Was this the best move? Would putting Gaia into Gruen's cross hairs be the wisest decision? It wasn't too late to call everything off. He could invite Gaia's family. They'd be a catalyst to a boiling pot. Gaia might just kill him over it. Then they didn't get married and Gaia was safe. Nothing to it. His demons and Eae tried to clamor in his ear. For once they were all in agreement with their arguments. The gist of it was Gaia was the best damn thing that had ever happened to Kyran. He didn't disagree. He simply doubted their ability to keep each other safe from his older brother.

A gentle touch brought his attention around. Masha stood before him with a gentle smile. A tiny mousy haired woman stood beside her. Ami, if Kyran remembered correctly. Another one of Masha's servants or whatever. He couldn't remember what her powers were for the life of him. His sister had brought her and others for a little extra protection. Masha's lips parted, bringing the incresssingly frantic redheads gaze back to her. "You can do this. Don't let Gruen ruin everything for the two of you. You've worked too hard for this happiness, denied yourself for too long." She hit him in the shoulder. "Besides if you try to run, I'll hold you down while Gaia castrates you. You are not getting out of this, Kyran Dyer." Ami shot him a smile and walked away without saying a word. What a strange girl.

"Thank you, Sis" Kyran said after a deep breath. "I'm... not good at this kind of thing." Masha gave his suit a pointed look. The blood mage laughed, feeling the last of his worries fall away. Clearly it was obvious how bad he was at this. However, his sister didn't care and his fiance wouldn't either. This was their day. Kyran and Gaia's. Finally bonded together for the rest of time. He clapped Masha on the shoulder before ascending the stairs to stand beside the burning white phoenix. Now, everything was posed to wait for Gaia.

    And the music began...

    @Gaia

Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony Empty Re: Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony

    GAIA SABIN
    The Cards Aren't Always Right
Gaia was sitting in a room on her own, looking at herself in a mirror with her dress on and her make-up done. Olga and Leila had helped her with her outfit and make-up. They also had been invited to the wedding. Honestly, Gaia wished she could have invited her family, but it just wasn't happening. She couldn't trust them after how she left home. If they were to find out she had magic, their two faced selfs would probably try to get her to come home… especially with her being a Rising Star. She hoped they didn't read the sorcerer's Magazine and see her face in there. Or have seen any pictures of her endeavors that had her face on them and mentioned her being a mage, like the Fiore's Next Top Model, or the competition for company for the Prince of Seven. They probably have, and probably trying to find her.

At home, Gaia hadn't minded too much how much sex they had or not, but she had worried slightly on if something was up that she should be worried about. She did enjoy all the cuddling and simply relaxing with her soon to be husband. She wondered who all else Kyran had invited to the wedding. “Relax… darling… you look splendid. You'll knock him dead like you should in my other outfits.” Olga boasts before she admires her clothes. “Remember, come to me for your clothing needs, especially when the babies start coming in. Can't have my star models children being drab next to their mother.” The fashion designer snickers to her. Leila softly laughs and moves to hug Gaia gingerly. “I'll bring her out, you do look so stunning. Though, we may need to get more pictures of you in your wedding dress for our magazine.” The makeup artist warns with a giggle before she leads the short woman out of the room and into their seats by the time the music started.

Gaia takes a deep breath as she stands up after a few minutes alone. She was feeling absolutely terrified for a moment. Could she do this? She knew it was going to be a rather small wedding, but could she still do this? Was she going to be so nervous, as this wasn't a stage for her to strut her stuff on, that she was going to trip? Olga would kill her for that in front of her in one of her dresses. An Olga made wedding dress at that. While she was her friend, Olga was a bit more passionate about her designs, and could seem like a scary person for ruining them, even without magic. Gaia shook her head and made her way to the door. She hadn't had a single look at the chapel since they came here, since Kyran had a plan apparently for it. She walks slowly towards the entrance for her to enter the chapel, and takes a rather deep breath.

The music started just as she got there, and she was sent in another panic. ‘You can do this… you can do this…’ She tells herself while moving to take a step. She steps into the chapel, and her burnt sienna eyes took in the place. She had stopped for a moment, realizing what exactly Kyran had done. A smile slowly forms on her lips till it nearly split her face, and her teeth were peeping through them. She wore an off the shoulder, white dress with the edges trimmed with gold lace. There was even gold lace right under her breasts and a slit up the front in front of her left leg. The sleeves of the dress reached down to the ground, and the train of the dress dragged elegantly behind her. On her hip though, was her tarot bag. There was no way she was going anywhere without her cards. Not around Kyran at least, as a precaution. Her eyes trailed around the chapel till she spotted the two redheads, and she felt her grin widen more. She had missed Masha a bit after she left Sabertooth, but she tried to keep in touch with her. She hoped the girl was doing well in her new guild.

The tarot mage makes her way down the aisle, eyes locked on Kyran now with how dashing he seemed to be. A blush was on her face as she made her way towards the altar. She kept her head up just a bit, walking slightly like she was on a catwalk to keep herself from panicking. As she makes it to the altar, Gaia slowly looks to Kyran, blushing to him once again. This was their big moment. The moment they'd be a couple. She wanted to look behind her and check that there wasn't anything coming up behind them, but she refused herself to.

Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony Empty Re: Kyran and Gaia's Marriage Ceremony

Post by Kyran 31st March 2019, 2:27 pm

Kyran was stunned by his first look at Gaia in her wedding dress. There was something about it that stirred his heart, made it beat faster. He wanted to run to her, hold her. Perhaps the blood mage wished to already be married. He almost took a step until Masha tugged on his sleeve. "Not yet, big brother. You ravish her after the wedding." There was a hint of teasing in her voice but also some longing. Kyran reached back to squeeze his sister's hand. Her day would come. He'd stand there on that day, happily welcoming her chosen partner into the family.

The redhead kept his eyes on his fiance the entire time she proceeded. He didn't know who had made her dress but he thanked them. The smile on her face made Gaia seem all the more radiant. Masha giggled behind him, taking the opportunity to pinch. Kyran jumped almost scolding his sister. However, Gaia required his attention. There was love overflowing in his eyes as he looked down at her. He could see a flicker of nerves in her neck. The blood mage chuckled, leaning forward a little. "You watch my back, I'll watch yours. Nothing will ruin today." He teased, reaching out to take her hands.

A gust of wind blew down on them as Aodhfin finally settled on the altar. The white phoenix was late but that was rather on purpose. Kyran was trying his best to recreate that one scene Gaia loved. He wanted her to be the princess of the tale and bringing it to life was the best way he knew how. "Sorry, sorry. Got a little too invested in the free champagne." Aodhfin said right on cue. Perfect. Kyran grinned down at Gaia. From here out, they would make this their own scene. This would launch their book into the stars until one of their children finally wrote the end on its pages.

The thought of children dimmed Kyran's smile a little bit. He needed to tell Gaia about his daughter's death. His daughter deserved that much. Gaia deserved that much. Not today. Soon though, he'd tell her. If he didn't, Masha would tell Gaia something was wrong and he'd be in a mess of trouble. Two angry women was not something any man wanted to deal with. Not when he could have prevented it. Kyran's eyes traveled down Gaia and back up. Besides, they could keep trying. Or adopt. Or there were various magic rituals they could use. There were other ways to remember his daughter, to honor her. Giving her a sibling or two seemed the right track to begin with.

Aodhfin cleared his throat. "We are gathered here today to join Kyran Dyer and Gaia Sabin in matrimony. Any who object to this lovely couple, sit your ass down. This is true love and it will not be denied." Kyran looked up at the phoenix, doing his best not to laugh. He didn't know if that was the phoenix's personality or Masha interjecting her ideas through him. Either way, it felt like a great way to start. "Kyran Dyer. Do you take this woman to be your wife?" Kyran smiled, down at Gaia. "I do." Aodhfin turned toward Gaia. "Gaia Sabin. Do you take this man to be your husband?"

If she said I do, the phoenix touched his beak to their joined hands. Their vows in a magic spell form, flowed down over their hands, wrapping around them. They had written their vows down earlier as was tradition. There was a flash of light. A magic band entwined around their ring fingers. There was no way to remove them without a divorce. Aodhfin straightened. "Kiss each other now. You married." The sass in his voice had to be Masha's. He glanced at his sister over his shoulder. She smiled innocently. Laughing at her antics, Kyran bent down, offering his lips to his new wife. They were one forever now. It was the happiest moment of his life.

    GAIA SABIN
    The Cards Aren't Always Right
Gaia had noticed Kyran being slightly held back by Masha, and wondered what h was going to do… She shook the thoughts away, focusing on the moment. Here, and now. The look in his eyes as he watched her, only deepened the blush on her cheeks. Clearly, the thoughts that were in her mind before, were gone already with how these two were seeming to be playing at the altar. She reaches forward and grabs his hands eagerly as she was next to him. “Nothing better ruin today… or I’m setting my cards on them.” She hums quietly. While he may have been teasing, she one-hundred percent wasn’t. Gaia blinks a moment while Aodhfin was before them, then looks at Kyran at the line. She sighed deeply while trying her hardest to no laugh, actually rather enjoying this quite a bit.

When it was time for the actual wedding, Gaia looked over to the phoenix, watching him slightly. The words he spoke about others sitting their asses down for objections, made her jaw drop a bit, but her cheeks bore a deep shade of red. He seemed to not be phased by his words, and she clears her own throat. When he questioned if she took Kyran to be her husband, she looked to Kyran, blush still on her cheeks as she nods her head a little “I do.” She felt a shiver run down her spine as she was excited for what was happening. She glanced to their hands as the beak touched them, and gasped at the light. She snorts at the birds comment after the light went away, and then glanced to Masha when Kyran looked back at her. When Kyran offered his lips to her, Gaia raised an eyebrow, snorting before she let go of his hands to wrap her arms around his neck and pull him in to kiss him instead.

When she pulled away, she was giggling as she looked to him. She was trying to contain her excitement. They were married! Officially in front of a few important people in their lives. She looked over to Olga and Leila, who both were clapping over her kissing her new husband, excited for them. “Congratulations, darling!” The really short woman said as she was standing next to the purple haired woman. Gaia smiles to them before looking to Kyran, raising an eyebrow to him. “Ready to go, Mr. Sabin?” She was only teasing him by calling him her last name, unless he wanted to have her name? She didn’t think they even discussed this.
