Job Description: New recruits to Dies Irae are subject to hunting and apprehending a hapless dark mage known simply as The Cringe. He’s not very skilled nor much of a threat, but he fancies himself as such. His ego is impregnable, no matter how many times he’s captured he refuses to acknowledge it. In the end despite being dark, he can’t manage to carry out any plan with successfully dire consequences, so Dies Irae uses him more for training purposes or a right of passage for newbies.

☩Enemies: The Cringe☩ Enemy Rank: Weak☩ Enemy Stats: The Cringe, despite being weak, is no cake walk to capture. When he’s cornered he will shed all of his clothes except his fedora and become oddly slippery. His neckbeard is off-putting and his attitude is rage inducing. Since he’s a know it all and has zero social skills and tact, he will probably offend you, making you want to wring his neck...but you can’t. At least, not long enough to kill him. The odd thing is he’s immune to being knocked out, so he has to be taken not only alive but awake. Feel free to gag him to shut him up, though.
