Personality: At a glance, Rowan appears to excessively lazy and incompetent, and that's half true. He tends to try to find ways to get the same results with less work, which results in him being labeled as a slacker. Despite his lack of a work-ethic, Rowan still manages to get the task at hand done, and quickly at that. Another result of Rowan's 'laziness' is his laid back  personality. Rowan enjoys taking life at a slower pace, and often isn't willing to take the initiative. One distinguishable trait that Rowan also has is his trademark dry humor. He never misses the opportunity to make a sarcastic comment or point out the irony in a situation. Rowan, however, isn't a typical jokester, and knows when to be serious. At certain times actually, Rowan can become quite salty and easily frustrated by simple obstacles. His somewhat prickly exterior, Rowan does quite well socially. He actively seeks out companions to spend time with, and hardly ever does  work on his own. This is because Rowan prefers to work within a team, which he believes is an excellent way to delegate tasks efficiently and effectively. Despite his flaws, Rowan has nothing but good intentions, though he may not display that all the time. At the end of the day, Rowan quickly bonds with others, but only remains loyal when interests align and conflict is low. While he can be steadfast in his beliefs, Rowan quickly backs down when he feels strong resistance, and is willing to conform to different ideals temporarily.

Humor isn't the only thing that Rowan excels at. Surprisingly, Rowan is very adept at strategic thinking and on the fly tactics. His lazy attitude often helps him think of solutions that are logical and efficient, which can often help in combat. However, Rowan is quick to panic when the odds aren't in his favor, and quickly begins making poor decisions. In this aspect, Rowan requires external motivation to remain focused and coherent. One reason why Rowan prefers to stick with a team is because if this weakness. He feels that if he is with people who are confident, then he too can be strong willed. Due to his nature, Rowan also prefers to fight defensively, using his spells to block attacks or evade them altogether. He has little experience with real fighting, and so, if he's alone, he tends attempt to draw the conflict out for as long as possible until he can develop a winning strategy, or exploit a weakness. This all changes, however, when Rowan is within the heart of a team. Rowan generally dislikes being the leader of a group, but he excels at sizing up allies' strengths and weaknesses, and organizing a coordinated course of action. He instead prefers to be led, only pitching in advice and information when necessary. If he, for whatever reason, finds that the current leader is incapable of leading, Rowan becomes much less cooperative and does whatever he can to disrupt the natural flow of the group. At the same time, he does know when to lay off for the sake of success.

Tight Spaces: Being in small spaces is definitely a problem for Rowan. However, he only suffers from mild claustrophobia, which means he can resist the feelings of confinement for awhile, but quickly panics after longer periods of time.
