- Sword magic is a holder type magic that focuses on the use of swords in conjunction with the user's magic power making a deadly combo between the two. In order to use this magic, the user must have any legitimate sword in his possession because that is the medium of this magic. This magic allows the user to enchant their blades with magic power, giving it many effects depending on how the magic power is being used with it. Other than allowing the user to freely use his techniques, this magic also allows the user to perform spells that can be used in conjunction with his sword like releasing a wave of energy by slashing his sword forward or enchanting it with magic power in order to strengthen his sword's power and attributes. The way the user performs his spells greatly relies on his style when wielding the sword. Kazuki's technique is quite unique, being able to wield three swords at once. This technique is known as the Three Swords Style or Santoryu. This is a sword fighting style that deals with using three swords (mainly katana or nodachi, depending on the user's preference): one on each hand and one on his mouth. The user uses his neck as if it is his third arm which allows the user to deal multiple strikes to the opponent.
Strengths:
- Versatile in Combat - Sword magic specializes in combat since the purpose of a sword is to fight and defend against others. The user can adapt to many styles with the sword depending on what he is comfortable the most. The spells used can also be short or long ranged depending on the user's preference which will definitely help the user in combat situations.
- Still Effective without Magic - If the user ever loses his magic in some way (like being affected by a spell which nullifies all magic) he can still post a challenge because a sword can still be used even without magic. This makes the user lethal in both magic and non-magic combat which definitely gives the user an edge especially if against opponents specializing in nullification magic and things like that.
- Well-rounded - Sword magic allows the user to use their magic in conjunction with swords and swords can be used for many purposes. Whether it is offense, agility, and utility, swords can do them. This gives users of this kind of magic a wide pool of abilities allowing them to have many choices when it comes to combat.
- Deadly Cutting Damage - Swords are incredibly sharp and deadly weapons. Compared to caster magic cutting damage which needs the user to materialize their spells into razors or anything sharp, the cutting damage dealt by sword magic is more advanced since the user's magic is powered by a sword, a sharp and solid weapon capable of dealing heavy cutting damage even without a spell used plus maintaining its shape for a long duration. If this is combined with the user's magic then it will be incredibly potent and deadly.
Weaknesses:
- Needs at least one sword in order to perform - Since it is a holder type magic, this magic requires the user to have the necessary object to be used in combat in their possession. In this case, that object is the sword. If the user doesn't have his sword with him then this magic can't be used. If the opponent somehow swipes the user's sword away while in battle, the user will be put in a heavy disadvantage since the only object he can deal high damage with is not in his possession.
- Has a disadvantage against long-ranged or sniper based magic - This magic focuses mostly on melee attacks so range isn't a priority. However, this fact gives the user a disadvantage against long-ranged magics since he has to go closer to them in order to attack them while they can simply keep their distance from him in order to avoid his attacks.
- Often leaves the user vulnerable - Whenever the user tries to strike with his sword (especially if using all three at once), he must let his guard down and focus on one target which can be incredibly difficult especially if against a group of opponents. If the user makes one wrong move like missing or hitting the wrong target, he will be put in a great disadvantage.
- Lacks defensive capabilities - Sword Magic lacks defensive spells since it's mainly wired for offense. The only way the user can defend himself is by deflecting attacks with his sword which needs a lot of timing or simply dodging which won't always work especially if against spells that are hard to avoid due to speed or the environment.
- Requires a lot of practice - Swordsmanship requires a lot of practice in order to master. If you add some magic to that and three swords to be used in one spell, then it will require a lot more than that. Mastering this magic is incredibly difficult because the user must know how to properly use a sword while also concentrating their magic power. Swordsmanship is already difficult, and if you add magic with it, man. It will be a bombardment.

In order to use this magic, the holder must know how to perform well with the sword. Because of this, all sword magic users have better swordsmanship skills than normal humans. Kazuki, being an S ranked mage, has achieved true mastery while wielding his sword having mastered his graceful techniques and powerful slashes. His physical attributes greatly improve when a sword is in his hands since Kazuki knows a lot about fighting with swords. At full potential, he can break boulders and cause deep wounds with just one non-magic attack which can be deadly.

He has an instantaneous reaction rate, able to deflect blinding attacks in an instant.

Strengths:
This spell deals heavy damage at an incredible speed. It only takes the user .75 seconds to reach a target from this spell's maximum range which can be incredibly difficult to avoid. If hit directly, the target will suffer heavy bleeding, slowly draining their vitality due to loss of blood. If this happens to the opponent, they will be put in a heavy disadvantage since it leaves them open to the user's other spells due to the loss of vitality. Kazuki considers this as his most powerful spell and often uses it to finish off his opponents after beating them up with his lower ranked spells.
Weaknesses:
Before the user can strike the opponent, he must enter a slashing stance which might give the opponent some time to escape from the spell's range or prepare a defense that can block this spell or reduce its damage which might save them from the heavy damage it causes. If the user somehow misses this attack or fails to strike the opponent due to a defense of some sort, he will be left vulnerable to the opponent's attacks, putting the user in a disadvantage.

Description:
The user positions his blade the same way he does with his another S-rank spell of his, Demon Slash, crossing his two swords on his chest and aligning the one on his mouth horizontally behind. Afterwards, the three swords gather magic power and emanate a dark red aura, making the user look intimidating. Once this is done, the user takes a step forward and lunges at the opponent within 20 meters in a split second, repeatedly slashing them with his enchanted swords. In just a second, the user slashes the opponent 12 times, dealing tons of damage and shredding the target's body. This spell is a sure-kill when used against a weak opponent due to its high damage output and the continuous loss of blood it gives the target. If used on B-S rank mages, they might survive this spell, however, if they don't receive any medical attention, they might be put in a near-death state due to the consistent loss of blood.
Strengths:
This spell is Kazuki's most powerful spell, even more powerful than his finishing move, Demon Slash. Its incredible speed and swift movements make it a spell that someone won't see coming so it is very difficult to avoid unless the opponent has a defensive spell of some sort. It is practically a sure-kill if the user manages to damage the opponent with his other spells. Just like Demon Slash, he also uses this as a finishing spell but only against tough mages. He never uses this against weaker opponents due to the fact that it might end the fight instantly which definitely breaks the purpose of a challenge.
Weaknesses:
Just like the other powerful spells the user has, this spell needs him to enter a stance before it is launched. While charging the blade's power, the user is left open for a few seconds, allowing the foe to land direct hits at him which might put the user in a disadvantage. The opponent can also avoid this spell by running out of its range, protecting them from a high-chance of defeat or even death.

Description:
The user fills his blades with a lot of magic power, making them glow a bright white. Once this is done, the user slashes the magically enchanted blades with much force, causing the magical particles present in the sword to explode. When used on D-A rank spells, they will be completely cancelled, leaving the user completely unscathed. S-ranks will have their damage reduced by 75% which might save the user especially if the opponent attempts to finish him off with an S-rank spell.
Strengths:
This is the user's most reliable defensive spell since it can save the user from almost any type of spell. If used correctly with proper timing, the user can save himself from close calls especially if a dangerous spell is about to hit him. Kazuki only uses this spell in situations where he can't do anything else, knowing that he can't just use it on simple or weak magic attacks.
Weaknesses:
The user can only defend himself from one attack so if the opponent uses a follow-up spell, the caster has to rely on his other defensive spells or his own instinct. If the user doesn't time this spell correctly, he might be damaged, though it will still protect him from a portion of the spell's normal effect. Since this is a defensive spell, it has no offensive use despite the fact that the user swings his swords as if he's attacking.

Description:
This sell requires the user to be in close range with the opponent. The user stretches his arms in opposite directions, aligning his swords with his outstretched arms with the sword on his mouth horizontally aligned backwards. Once this is done, the user quickly spins his body around, swinging his blades against the opponent in an upward motion, sending them spinning and flying for about 10 meters high (A-S ranked mages will only be sent flying for about 5 meters), dealing one A-ranked damage. At its strongest, this spell can cut through the opponent's skin, penetrating their muscles which can cause moderate bleeding. It can also deal damage depending on how the target lands from being sent flying (especially if the wound the target gets from the strike is the first to hit the ground).
Strengths:
This spell is very quick. Once the user swings his sword, the opponent won't see what is coming. It also deals a pretty high amount of damage, though not enough to take anyone down in one go. This spell can also be used to intercept an opponent who is charging at the user (such as using a spell that allows them to lunge at their target), allowing the user to instantly return the damage that might be dealt by the opponent's move.
Weaknesses:
This can only be used if the user is in close-range with the opponent. If the user somehow misses with this attack, he will be left open since the force of the slash also brings the user with it for a few moments, allowing the target who dodged the spell to directly hit the user, putting him in a disadvantage. If the user attempts to use this to intercept an S-rank attack, it won't work and will only get the user damaged as the spell would usually do.

Description:
The user aligns both the swords in his hands forward which somehow symbolizes the horns of a bull. The user's third sword is aligned horizontally backwards as if the user is preparing to slash with it. Afterwards, the user charges at the opponent with this stance as if he is a bull himself. Once the distance is closed between the user and the target, the user swings his blades at the same time, dealing one A-ranked damage as a whole. At its strongest, this spell can cause deep cuts that consistently bleed. D-rank mages will have a hard time standing up when hit by this spell while higher ranked ones can still fight despite the damage done by this spell.
Strengths:
One of Kazuki's most reliable offensive spells, he often uses this in order to bring the opponent closer to the brink of defeat, allowing him to finish them off with some of his more powerful spells. If it hits the opponent directly, it might cause heavy bleeding which is enough to limit the foe's movements since it is hard to move freely when you have a bleeding wound.
Weaknesses:
In order to utilize this spell, the user must charge to the opponent, letting his guard down as he approaches. The only way he can defend against the opponent while in this state is by dodging which can be very difficult especially if the opponent has a spell which is difficult to dodge (such as those that move quicker than a second). If the user misses this spell, he will be left vulnerable to attacks from the opponent which will definitely put him in a disadvantage.

Description:
The user spins his blades around, awakening the killer instinct inside him, or, in other words, the beast inside him hence the spell's name. Once this is done, the user's body is surrounded by red veins as if a large amount of blood is gathering inside him. This spell doubles both the user's strength and speed (or, in terms of percentage, increases the two attributes by 100%.)
Strengths:
This spell gives the user a lot of capabilities since it increases two of the most important attributes a swordsman needs: strength and speed. If this is combined with the user's knowledge in swordsmanship, it will definitely turn the user into a deadly warrior. In this state, the user can slash through metal and run to a maximum speed of 25m/s, giving him tons of mobility and power behind his attacks.
Weaknesses:
Since the user unleashes his animal instinct, he loses some of his ability to think since his main focus is to attack and kill. The opponent can take advantage of this by using complex strategies, something the user won't be able to think of beating due to the state this spell puts him in. This spell only increases the user's ordinary attacks and not his spells.

Description:
The user aligns his blades horizontally with his body as if preparing to swing them all at once. After a few seconds, the swords glow a bright blue as if they are gathering magic power. Once this is done, the user releases the blue energy as a large magic projectile (5 meters in length and 3 meters in width), moving at the speed of 25m/s for up to 50 meters. This spell is a mix between physical and blunt B-rank damage, capable of causing deep wounds and welts when it hits the target directly. The wounds caused by this spell digs deep into the target's skin which might cause consistent bleeding though it won't limit the opponent that much.
Strengths:
This is one of Kazuki's only ranged spells. It is also his most reliable one being one that deals a good amount of damage and travels quite fast, taking only two seconds just to reach its maximum distance. This spell can be pretty useful especially against foes who use some kind of sniper magic since it allows the user to strike them where they are the most - at a long range.
Weaknesses:
Two seconds is enough for someone to see and jump out of this spell's range so the user must aim it well. This is the only reliable long-ranged spell Kazuki has so once he uses it, he won't be able to deal any good range-based damage until the spell's cooldown is done which is rather long (5 posts). It is also indiscriminate so the user might accidentally hit his allies or cause casualties.

Description:
The user only uses the two swords in his hands to perform this spell. To begin this spell, the user crosses his swords the same way as he does when using Demon Slash. Once this is done, the user dashes to the opponent within 15 meters from him. It only takes the user a second to strike the opponent since he can move at a maximum speed of 15m/s while using this spell. Once the user is in close range, he swings the blade with much force, pushing the opponent back for up to 10 meters (Higher ranked mages such as B-S ranked ones will only be pushed back for 3 meters.) It deals one B-rank cutting damage enough to cause deep wounds.
Strengths:
This is the smaller version of Kazuki's main finishing spell, Demon Slash. Just like its stronger version, he also uses this spell to finish off his opponents when he's beaten them up, though he only uses it against lower-ranked ones. This fact is a testament to the spell's strength since Kazuki doesn't simply make a spell and use it to finish others. It might also lower the target's mobility since it is quite difficult to move with wounds.
Weaknesses:
Just like its stronger counterpart, the user must enter a stance in order to perform this spell. The time the user takes in using that stance is enough for the opponent to defend themselves or exit the range, forcing the user to choose a different target. If the user somehow misses, he will be left vulnerable since he's a lot closer to the opponent.

Description:
The user only uses one sword for this spell. It requires the user to be in a close range with the opponent since it's a melee spell. As its name says, the user quickly slashes the opponent at blinding speed (a split second), dealing one C-rank damage in the process. It is enough to cause a large cut that digs through skin and mild bleeding though it won't knock someone down in one go since it's just a C-rank spell. The best it can do is make the opponent feel the pain of his wound though he can still fight through it.
Strengths:
This is one of Kazuki's simple spells since all he does is slash the opponent with much force capable of dealing C-rank damage. It is very easy to perform unlike all the other spells Kazuki has, making it a reliable source of damage. He often uses this to counter melee attacks due to its speed and good source of damage.
Weaknesses:
It requires the user to be in close range enough for him to slash the opponent which might be difficult especially against foes with sniper-based magic. It doesn't deal as much damage as the user's other spells so using it against high-ranked mages will just leave a scratch or something of that sort.

Description:
The user awakens his inner power as a swordsman, doubling his speed. This spell allows him to move at a maximum of 25m/s and perform normal attacks quicker than normal.
Strengths:
It increases the user's speed, giving him more capabilities in battle. The increase in his running speed can help him in many situations such as chasing an opponent or running away from one.
Weaknesses:
It only increases the user's speed. Since the user moves faster, he often loses his guard since he has to control his speed. This leaves him vulnerable especially to mages who are great in timing their spells.

Description:
The user enchants his sword with magical power, causing it to glow a bright blue. Once this is done, he swings it with much force, releasing the magic power as a wave of energy (3 meters wide) that can deal C-rank cutting damage. It has a range of 10 meters and can move at the speed of 10m/s so it can reach its maximum range in just a second. The best this spell can do is cause intolerable cuts and mild bleeding.
Strengths:
This spell has a considerable range of 10 meters. It is also one of Kazuki's only long-ranged spells. It's pretty reliable since it moves quick and deals a good amount of damage as a C-rank spell. It is pretty difficult to dodge due to the speed it goes.
Weaknesses: The target can dodge this spell by running away from its range, rendering it useless. It also doesn't deal as much damage as his other spells. The user might accidentally hit an ally with this spell since it deals damage to anyone within its range.

- Name: Art of Unsheathing

Description:
This is the spell Kazuki uses once he starts fighting with his swords. Before the user releases his swords from their sheaths, he transfers some of his magic power into them. Once he takes his swords out, they will glow a faint white. This increases the damage done by the blades by about 25%, allowing the user to add more damage to the next attack/spell he will use. This effect can only be used once.
Strengths:
This spell gives Kazuki more power when striking the opponent, allowing him to quickly reduce their endurance by using one of his spells in conjunction with this one. This can also work on normal attacks so if the user simply slashes his opponent, he can deal two D-rank damage (one from the spell's increase and the other from the user's own cutting strength).
Weaknesses:
It can only be used when the user's swords are sheathed. Once they are unsheathed, he can't use this spell again until he returns his swords to their sheaths after the cooldown which isn't a wise move especially if in combat. It only affects one attack so once the user is done with that one attack, the spell is deactivated and goes to cooldown.

Description:
The user lunges to the the opponent with his blades positioned behind him. Once the user is in close range, he swings his blades up, dealing D-rank damage to the target. At its best, it can cause small cuts though it can be easily tolerated due to it being a simple D-rank spell.
Strengths:
This spell is pretty quick so if the target is caught off-guard, he might have a hard time dodging it. The small cuts done by this spell can easily be tolerated though they can be aggravated by using a stronger spell which will definitely be painful.
Weaknesses:
It is pretty weak as a spell itself, only dealing small cuts despite the sharpness of the user's blade. The user also needs to be in close range with the target so he might have trouble using this spell against mages who use sniper-based magic since they always keep their range. If the user misses, he will be left open since he's just close to the target.

Description:
The user extends two of his swords by raising his arms sideward. After that, the user quickly spins, dealing D-rank damage to anyone around him. It will also knock the target down due to the force of the spin. At most, it can cause small cuts and mild bleeding but since it's simply D-rank damage, it can be tolerated and shrugged off.
Strengths:
Kazuki often uses this spell to knock down his opponents especially if he's surrounded by a group of enemies. By knocking them down, he can easily attack them since it takes time for them to get up afterwards. This spell can also be used to protect the user by spinning it exactly as the opponent is about to attack him, protecting him from any damage the opponent might have done. However, this only works on non-magic spells.
Weaknesses:
It has a small damage output since it's just a D-rank spell. Once the user finishes spinning, he exposes himself to attacks for a small duration since it is hard to move instantly after you spin. Before the spell is performed, the user must raise his arms sideways which might be enough time for someone to back away from the user and avoid this attack.

Description:
Since Kazuki uses katana in order to perform this magic, he can turn his sword around, using its blunt edge to attack. With this spell, he swiftly strikes the opponent with the blunt edge of his sword, dealing D-ranked damage capable of causing bruises and muscle pain depending on the spot hit. If the user hits the opponent's head, the opponent might have small concussions.
Strengths:
This is Kazuki's only blunt spell so it is quite different from his other ones. Unlike his other spells where he cuts the opponent down, this spell allows him to bash them though it won't deal much damage as it sounds.
Weaknesses:
This is considered as Kazuki's weakest spell since it uses the katana's other edge which doesn't do that much as its slicing edge. It can be blocked by any spell so it is not always reliable. Kazuki only uses this on weak opponents especially those he doesn't wish to kill or greatly injure, a simple proof to how weak this spell can be.
