Atsuai is Midian and combines the characters of Atsu 篤 and Ai 愛. Atsu meaning true, deep or sincere. Ai meaning love or affection. The name Atsuai therefor means something along the lines of True love. Atsuai is a yokai, a spirit of sorts, in this case a spirit of love. She carries arrows that can make people fall in love with each other. She is a peculiar deity who is worshiped primarily by the wives of the Midian samurai, particular those that choose to fight besides their husbands or defend their homesteads in their absence; for besides love, she is also associated with war and marksmanship. Atsuai is one of the best archers from the Midian pantheon, a quicker shooter with a steady bow. Her arrows are, more often than not, sure to hit their mark.

Description: Atsuai can fire arrows with heart shaped arrowheads, these are her famous love arrows that can make people fall in love. Explicit OOC permission is needed for this ability to be used on players, player-owned NPCs, or Event NPCs. The user can determine if the spell will be permanent or have a duration.

Description: Atsuai shouts “In-Yo-In-Yo” as she sends an arrow at a target or an area. The arrow will explode in a fury of light and dark energy on impact, hitting everyone within the user rank burst range of the arrow with holy and unholy power. Atsuai can only fire one such arrow in a post and during the duration the user will be blessed with HP and MP regeneration. In-Yo-In-Yo means darkness and light in Midian, and it shouted as part of ritual mounted archery.

It pins down everyone who is hit by an arrow onto their place for one post, debuffing both their speed and strength each for half of an active user rank advanced debuff for the duration of the ability as well
