It was Leanne's second day in a row visiting the famous Rose Garden, and she could only pray that old man wasn't messing with her when he said there'd be an intriguing event. Unsurprisingly, the place was packed with people- even more hectic, in fact, than the day before. There were more queues this time, varying in length- some sat quietly in the corners of the area, just enough people to notice anyone was there. But, mostly, the lines were so long that they circled around buildings, making it a mess trying to get in and out of any building, if someone should want to miss out.

"People sure love waiting... Hey!" She tapped the shoulder of another stranger, feeling a dullness that came with repetition she couldn't help wishing away as soon as possible. "What're we all waiting for today, hm? Yesterday was passports, so what's today? Driving licenses?"

"Nothing close," The man retorted. "Everyone's hyped about the new iLac giveaway. Don't you know about the Lacrima Net? Having an iLac's like having a key to the biggest archive in history."

Surely she'd heard of the Lacrima net- even she had a computer at home. "Are iLac's that expensive?"

"Insanely. What, do you live under a rock?" The man sped off, looking for a line to join. Leanne grumbled, losing her information source and the closest plaything she'd likely get with all these people just bumbling about like wasps in a hive. She hummed, debating what course of action to take- she could use her specialty and create a frenzy, but something told her this time she wouldn't get past without any blemishes.

This time, reluctantly, she'd have to wait it out. And so the wait began.

Leanne spent her time waiting productively. She studied every one of the thirty people before her to find someone easy to manipulate and toy with in the future. Children were easy targets, but boring. She stayed focused on the adults, whether it was parents or singles lurking their ways to a social life online.

"No one interesting. This is so boooooring!"

Stomping her feet, Leanne struggled not to scream. The stagnant air did not help her irritation, though it seemed to have little effect at all on her compared to other women that seemed to feel a chill, likely from her intense gaze. The queue continued forward- one person, then two. Soon, ten people had gone before her, leaving another twenty.

This was torture, she decided. Pure, unadulterated torture.

About an hour since arriving, it was finally her turn. She grabbed the device as quickly as she could, rushing away without getting a single word of advice on how it worked. She made her way to a group of children learning from their chaperone and opted to learn from them. Children were annoying, but they made the sap easier to lean on.

Another twenty minutes passed, and finally Leanne had a fair understanding of her new iLac. Without thanks, she wandered back into the crowd, wondering what mayhem she could create on the Lacrima net...
