Believe it or not, it's easy for Bunny to act good. Her blissful attitude, innocent appearance, and lack of notability made it easy for her. So, picking up a child for an escort job was easy.
She could easily tell that this boy was in fact a wizard. Talking to him, however, was a challenge in and of itself.
"Hello." She said in her normal, cheery tone.
The boy didn't speak back. So she spoke again. "I'm Bunny."

"Chocolate?" She asked, handing the boy a chocolate bar. Who would have known a tiny boy could be swayed by chocolate? Bunny, as she remembered being bought over by her brother in the same way.
"I'm Benaiah. Benaiah Elven." He said, a mouth full of chocolate.
"What a nice name. I heard about your mom, and I'm sorry." She said.
"Thanks. Dad doesn't get it. He said I should just focus on my magic training! I think he's just mean!! He threw out all her pictures!" The boy stated. He was obviously angry about the situation.
Bunny could totally work with that. "I'm so sorry. You know, my dad did the same thing when my brother died. He made me do more work too." She said, actually sympathizing with the boy.
"What did you do?"
"Well, after a while, I worked up the courage and I ran away." She handed the boy another chocolate bar.
"You did? Really?" He asked, shoving more chocolate in his mouth.
"Well, yeah really. I just left home one night and never came back." She got on one knee to be eye level with the young boy. "How old are you, little one?"
"W-well, I'm only 8. But my magic tutor says I'm real strong! I do use fire magic, after all. It's super destructive!!" That was when Bunny saw it. Bunny saw herself in that little boy. That hopeful glow in his eyes.
A glow that would be taken away by some man. A man he called dad. It was a story that Bunny knew very well. Her own story was all she could see.
But that made it clear to Bunny that she could complete the mission. She had to. After all, this wasn't just about the jewel now. No.
Bunny was going to change his story. She was already in a dark guild. How bad could kidnapping really be for her? This boy seemed destructive enough, anyway.
"Tell me, little one, what do you say you help me and I help you?" She asked. "If you can burn up this banquet for me, I'll get you outta here. You can keep as many pictures of your mom as you want if you come with you. You never have to be with your dad again."
"Really?" He asked, thinking only a moment before going, "I'll do it!! Just hold this picture of my mom while I do!! Thank you, miss Bunny!!"
Benaiah handed Bunny the picture of his mom before going inside. She could see the small flames through the windows. She watched the dark little boy wreak havoc over the nobles' food. He snuck out the back.
"Did you see me? Did you see my dad's face?" He asked. He was proud of himself.
"I did. Now, why don't we get out of here, little one?" She smiled at him.
Then she let the boy get on her back, and they ran off and away from the banquet. She definitely didn't mind escorting the dark little boy.
