Charlotte had been told to go to Clover Town in order to take care of some official guild business. Apparently, a band of thieves the guild had allied itself with was threatening to turn tail. That was their mistake, joining forces with a dark guild far stronger than them. Honestly, what Charlotte had been assigned to do was what they deserved butttttt, Charlotte didn't feel like doing it. Neither did her spirits. It was the perfect opportunity to use what Charlotte called the guilds "combat maid" she wasn't sure if she was really a part of the guild but she did hang around a lot, and Charlotte was happy to pay for her services if it meant she didn't have to do the dirty work.
"I hope you know what you're doing. If one of these creeps even so much as looks at me, I'll be complaining to your boss." Charlotte said this in a condescending tone. It was clear she felt that she was better than the maid whom she forgot the name of within five seconds of learning it. The supposed location of the bandits wasn't far away, maybe a mile or so from the actual town but it didn't really matter to Charlotte, she wasn't going to walk. "You're going to have to carry me." She said demandingly, snapping her fingers as if the maid would come running any faster. It wasn't really an option, it was a demand.
Having a maid in her company reminded her of home and she enjoyed that. This was life. Having other people do things for you, why couldn't everyone do this? Charlotte knew why some people were born on top and some on the bottom. She was on top, this maid was on the bottom. Literally, if she was being carried. "You better be strong because I don't have all day. Getting back to the guild in a timely fashion is a must." Charlotte didn't really have anything better to do, she just wanted to boss someone around more. Even if it was just a maid who had no other choice but to listen to her.
