Name: Chronicler's Grimoire Rank: Weak Type: Book Holder Magic: Chronicle Script Description: A book that contains the hidden knowledge and forbidden secrets of the Brass Seraphs, an ancient collective of engineers, arcanists, and scholars. It was created by its founder, Alexander, in hopes that one day, the knowledge of their kind will not be list in the passing of history. This book grants its user the ability to tap unto the power of time, albeit only a fraction of it. Alexander is the only one who is capable of harnessing the true potential of the Chronicler's Grimoire. With the book in hand, Ozwald is able to use Chronicle Script, magic that borrows the ideas and aspects of time that requires chants and verses. This is but one of many of the Brass Seraph's functioning artifacts, and possibly one of the weakest. Name: Weight of Words Rank: D Category: Auxiliary Type: Passive Description: As these chants are not only fueled by magic, but also fueled by its user’s intent, the effects of the chants are enhanced. Spell damage is increased by 40%. Name: Speedcasting Rank: D Category: Auxiliary Type: Passive Description: Chants require time in order for the spell to be cast. Thus, in order to mitigate this flaw, the time aspected energies encompassing the book allows the user to chant faster and the spells hit quicker, granting 40% spell speed. Name: Pendulum Shift Rank: D Category: Auxiliary Type: Passive Description: The pendulum of time shifts continuously in one motion, from one point to the other. Borrowing this principle, the magics encompassing the book as well as the user allows spells of the offensive and defensive type to be even more effective, thus increasing spell damage by 20% and spell durability by 20%. |
