Description:
- General Description
Dragon Slayer magic is a type of elemental lost magic which was used to slay dragons in olden times, hence its name. This magic proved to be superior than normal elemental magic since it allows the user of this magic to perform many feats which can only be done by dragons themselves. However, the number of mages who use this kind of magic started to decline due to the disappearance of multiple dragons for reasons unknown. Many people believed that the dragons have become extinct, some even questioning their existence. Despite this, some dragons still remain, most of them concealing themselves from the prying eyes of humans. These dragons took orphaned children as their own and taught them Dragon Slayer magic. No one knows why the dragons who remain lend others their power, but some believe that this has some connection with their disappearance years ago. Once these children knew the basics of Dragon Slayer magic, they are sent off by their parents knowing that they have to develop their magic by themselves just like how normal people do.
Dragon Slayers have been taught many abilities similar to their dragon parent. They are known to possess keener senses than that of normal humans such as in smell, sight and hearing. Their physical attributes are also higher than others since they were tempered by one of the strongest beings in history. They can also conjure their corresponding elements to their bodies much like how dragons do (like surrounding themselves with water) which can be used for different purposes, mostly in combat. Dragon Slayers can also eat their own element, but only those around them and not those produced by them. Whenever dragon slayers eat their own element, they gain a boost in vitality which can definitely put them in great advantages especially if they are surrounded by an environment containing resources common to their element.
It is said that when Dragon Slayers bathe on the blood of the dragons they have slain, they gain an incredible increase in power. Some of them even turn into dragons themselves due to their abnormal power. Most of the strong dragons renowned in history used to be Slayers who were known for their intense hunger for power. However, this feat is yet to be proven since it was only spoken in stories known as myths.
Water Dragon Slayer Description
Water Dragon Slayer magic is a type of Slayer magic which grants the user various characteristics similar to that of Water Dragons. Their lungs are able to spew out water, just like how the water dragon 'breathes water'. Unlike other Dragon Slayer magic which allows the user to control their own element into any part of their body, water dragon slayers can literally turn their body into water just like how the water dragon does. However, the body part turned into water still retains its normal physical shape but the user can freely control it at will, the level of control depending on how much magic power they exert. The water produced by Dragon Slayers is a lot more pressurized than ordinary water, giving it a blunt and static effect similar to that of a waterfall or a fireman's hose. Users of this magic also have 90% water in their body compared to the normal 70% which is due to the fact that they drink a lot more water than the regular human and can turn any part of their body to water. Water Dragon Slayers gain more benefits for drinking water, giving the caster five times the regular vitality a human gets from drinking water. Since water is incredibly vital for the human body, the caster can perform healing or buff spells on their allies by transferring some of their water to them, giving them a lot more than the normal benefits given by the water inside their bodies.
Strengths:
- Allows the user to turn his body into water - The user of this kind of this kind of magic is given the ability to turn their body into their own element, partially or completely depending on the spell used. This trait is what makes this version of Dragon Slayer magic unique from others since other Slayer magic simply allows their users to conjure elements on their bodies. This ability gives the user a lot of capabilities like defending from attacks by letting them pass through their bodies when turned into water or attacking opponents by using their body as a water projectile. Can not be used to dodge Lightning Magic.
- Gains more benefits from drinking water - Most dragon slayers can eat their own element, but water dragon slayers can only drink water, like any other human does. But what makes them different is that they get five times the normal benefit water gives and will have their vitality drastically increased just like what happens to dragon slayers who eat their own element. The user can also drink as many water as he wants without getting bloated or over-hydrated just like how a dragon slayer eating his own element can.
- Elementally Strong against Fire - What do firemen use when they put out fire? Water. This also applies with elemental magic. If the user fights against anyone who manipulates fire, he is put in a great advantage. If the opponent tries to conjure his element or use any outer source to manipulate or replenish themselves, the user will just extinguish them by shooting out water. The user can also break through defenses made of fire a lot easier than normal.
- Elementally Strong against Earth - Any user of earth magic will definitely find it hard to fight against water magic users. If they try to control soil, sand, or any earth substance, the user can just soak them wet which will give the opponent a harder time to manipulate since the source they are manipulating becomes a lot heavier than normal. Water can also move around the earth element easily which definitely gives Water Dragon Slayers a great advantage because they can just wash through the terrain. But unlike water's superiority to fire, water has no additional effects when against defenses made of earth.
- Slightly Strong against Ice - Both these elements are strong and weak against each other, with ice having the slight advantage, but still, water proves as a good contender. It is known that ice melts faster when in water just like how ice cubes become smaller when put in water so ice magic users, especially those who have ice-make will find it hard to maintain the shape of their spells when against water mages.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot manipulate external forces - Unlike elemental mages, dragon slayers cannot manipulate external elements and are only able to conjure and eat them. Because of this, the user of this magic can only rely on his roar to deal long range damage since they can't shoot out water from their palms or strike the opponent with water around him.
- Huge disadvantage against lightning - Since the user can turn into water, he must use this ability carefully especially against lightning magic users. Water is known as a good conductor for electricity so once a lightning mage catches him off guard, he can easily shock him due to his liquid form. Incredible levels of lightning can also evaporate water due to the heat they contain. If the user uses his roar, the water is connected to his mouth for some seconds so lightning mages can put lightning in the water and send it directly to the user's face.
- Ice Element - Even though water is somehow strong against ice, it can be the other way around since water can be frozen due to its composition. If Ice manages to overpower the user, he might even be frozen solid due to his body containing more water than normal and having the ability to turn himself into water. This magic's weakness to ice definitely defines the fact that your strength can be your weakness.
- The user cannot drink water produced by him - Eating his own water is pretty disgusting because it's like drinking your own liquid insides. If the user tries to drink his own water, he will choke it out due to it being a part of the water dragon, something that cannot be eaten through any means unless you are a dragon predator, which is highly unlikely. He can only drink his own element so he must rely on outer sources for this.
Abilities/Powers:
• Heightened Senses
• Highly Enhanced Strength
• Highly Enhanced Speed
• Highly Enhanced Durability
• Enhanced Reflexes
• Gains five times the benefit of drinking water
• Ability to breathe underwater
• Advanced Navigation Skill when travelling on any body of water
◘ Dragon Force ◘
This is known as the final, most powerful form a dragon slayer can attain. When in this form, the user's abilities are heightened to an extreme superhuman level and their spells do twice their normal damage. Whenever a water dragon slayer enters this state, he can turn his body into water at will due to the highly increased power the user obtains with Dragon Force activated. This form is very difficult to obtain since there are only a few known ways to enter this state. One of the well-known ways is eating powerful lacrima-infused etherion which will attack the user with tons of side effects when they exit dragon force. Another way is by eating a certain type of water known as the dragon's tears. However, the existence of such tears has not been proven as of yet which makes this form hard to obtain.

○ SPELLS ○
○ B-RANK ○
Name: Roar of the Water Dragon
Rank: B
Type: Water
Description:
This is the Water Dragon Slayer's version of the signature dragon's roar. The user inhales deeply, filling his lungs with water. Once the user has gathered a sufficient amount, he jumps at an incredible height, releasing the water gathered in his lungs with incredible power, moving at the speed of 30m/s for about 45 meters. Unlike other dragon roars that spread out the longer they go, this roar appears as an incredibly large beam with a radius of 5 meters which maintains its shape until it reaches its range limit. The water released is highly pressurized with force five times that of a fireman's hose so anyone who is caught within its range is sent crashing to the ground with the beam, dealing two B rank damage, one from the beam and the other from the ground impact. Once the water comes in contact with the ground, it forces the ground to explode and punch a hole 2 meters deep. At full potential, this spell will deal heavy bruises, welts and even broken bones due to the impact caused by the pressurized water colliding with the ground. Any non-magic user will be put in a near-defeat state, a state in which they will go down with just one powerful punch.
Strengths:
This is known by many as Daichi's strongest spell due to its great range and massive damage. The water released is highly pressurized so it will cause a great amount of blunt damage equivalent to two B rank attacks due to the hit and the impact to the ground. Being a water-based roar, it will render any fire type spells below A rank that is caught within its range useless. This spell also has a good range of 5 meters in radius and 45 meters in length which can be good against opponents cluttered to each other. The user can also redirect this spell by turning his head, though he can only turn it slowly due to its powerful blunt force.
Weaknesses:
The user needs to jump high enough in order to use this spell effectively, leaving him vulnerable to spells that are strong in the air. When the roar hits the ground, the force of the water sends the user flying for about 20 meters which might hurt the user especially if he falls the wrong angle. If used while on the ground, this spell only deals one B rank damage since it doesn't collide with the ground. Its massive range might also catch anyone the user doesn't wich to hit, causing casualties and things like that.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant, 5 post cooldown
Name: Aqua Drive
Rank: B
Type: Water
Description:
The user turns his whole body into water, leaving him invulnerable for the time being while still retaining his physical shape. Once this is done, the user shoots himself forward, hitting the opponent with a powerful blow. (The type of attack depends on the user's preference. It can be a punch, a kick, an elbow, or anything the user can use to hit with his body). The user travels to the opponent at the speed of 30m/s for about 30 meters, allowing the user to reach his target in just a second. This spell has multiple effects depending on where the user hits the opponent. If hit on the head, the opponent will suffer concussions for 2 posts which will greatly reduce their combat effectiveness. It can also force blood out of their face depending on the spot hit. If the user strikes the midsection, the opponent will be pushed back, the distance depending on rank. D-C ranks will be pushed for 15 meters while B-S ranks 5 meters. If hit on any limbs, it might cause broken bones or fractures which can only be healed through medical attention, though higher ranked mages rarely have this effect. All of these variations deal B rank.
Strengths:
This spell is mostly used to get closer to the opponent while dealing heavy damage, setting them up for close-range combos. The speed the user travels makes it hard to dodge this spell. Prior knowledge is needed in order to dodge this spell, something hard to do especially if the user is coming from a concealed area. It also has multiple effects if the user targets a certain area in the target's body which can be helpful especially if the user exploits their weakness (like hitting a broken leg or open wound).
Weaknesses:
If the spell misses, the user will be sent crashing to the ground, causing damage to himself and leaving him open to spells. If the opponent has a spell that can freeze water, he might be able to freeze the user solid while travelling, though this requires quick thinking. If the user is struck by any C rank lightning attack while under this spell, it will be dispelled and the user will be dealt with more damage than the lightning spell usually does.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant, 5 post cooldown
Name: Water Dragon's Scales
Rank: B
Type: Water
Description:
The user turns his skin into pressurized water, acting as a mobile shield against opposing forces. While this spell is active, the user can defend himself from one B rank, 2 C ranks and 4 D ranks. It can also reduce the damage of A rank spells by 50%. Any non-magic attacks such as weak weapon strikes or physical attacks will just bounce off from the user, dealing damage to the object that comes in contact with the user. Once this spell reaches its limit, the water returns into the user's body, leaving him unscathed. S rank spells will just go through the user's defenses as if he doesn't have this spell activated, dispelling it and dealing its normal damage.
Strengths:
This is one of Daichi's most reliable defensive spells. Because it is a mobile shield type of spell, the user can freely move around and use their bodies to block spells. It also renders any non-magic attacks useless so non-magic users will be in a great disadvantage. This spell is often used in hand-to-hand combat due to the protection it provides the user.
Weaknesses:
Any S rank spell will cancel this spell and render it useless, damaging the user as they normally would. Any lightning attacks will greatly reduce the power of the user's defense. Lightning spells go through this shield as if they are one rank higher than they really are, only allowing the user to defend from one C rank spell rather than the usual two.
Duration/Cooldowns 3 posts duration, 5 post cooldown.
○ C-RANK ○
Name: Water Dragon's Sharp Claws
Rank: C
Type: Water
Description:
The user turns both of his arms into water, pressurizing them with water, giving it a solid shape. The user keeps pressurizing the water until they take the form of a dragon's arm about two meters long with sharp, razor-like claws which are two feet in length. Since this is a mode spell, the user can use the claws as long as he wants until the end of the duration. One attack from these claws deal one D rank cutting damage enough to cause mild bleeding and normal cuts that cut through skin.
Strengths:
It can be used until the end of its duration. If the user strikes the opponent multiple times, he can deal a lot of damage especially if he continually aggravates their wounds. The user's arm becomes longer than normal as well so he is given an advantage in hand to hand combat due to the increased reaching length of his arms.
Weaknesses:
One strike doesn't deal enough damage. If the opponent keeps his range away from Daichi then he can simply stall him until the end of the duration. This magic is also difficult to use against snipers since they specialize in long range combat which might give Daichi a hard time getting closer.
Duration/Cooldowns 3 posts duration, 4 post cooldown
Name: Water Dragon's Breath
Rank: C
Type: Water
Description:
This is the smaller and weaker version of the water dragon's roar, hence the fact that it is one rank lower than the stronger one. Just like the normal dragon's roar, the user gathers water inside his stomach in order to perform this spell. Once this is done, the user simply releases the roar as a small beam of pressurized water about one foot in radius and can travel for about 15 meters at the speed of 15m/s, so it only takes just a second to reach its maximum range. It deals one C rank damage enough to cause bruises and welts due to the force and blunt effect of the pressurized water. The force of the beam is about two times that of a fireman's hose so it might push someone back for a short range, 5 meters for lower ranked mages (D-C rank) and just a meter for higher ranked mages. This is mostly used as a warning spell before the user uses his real roar, as if trying to intimidate the opponent. This spell also has another way to use in which the user turns his head exactly as the water is released in a ninety degree angle, causing the beam to do the same thing. However, by using this way, the damage done is lessened to D rank damage which can only cause a few bruises and knock someone down.
Strengths:
Just like its advanced version, this is one of Daichi's only long range spells. What makes it better than its successor is that it is more reliable due to its speed and lesser cooldown. If aimed correctly, it can be pretty hard to dodge since it just takes it one second to travel fifteen meters. At its strongest, it can punch a small hole on the ground, but not as large as its B ranked counterpart. The user can also redirect this breath by turning his head so if the target manages to dodge, the user can simply turn his head and hit him as long as the beam is still active, though the damage done will be reduced to D rank damage. If the user turns his head before the water is released, he can move the beam in a ninety degree angle, giving it the ability to damage multiple targets.
Weaknesses:
Unlike its stronger counterpart, it can only hit one target due to its small radius of 1 foo unless the user uses the other way of performing it by turning his head though this will greatly reduce the spell's damage to only one D ranked attack which can be costly. This also applies when the user redirects the beam which greatly reduces its damage. Because of those side effects, the user must be precise when releasing this spell which can be difficult especially if the opponent is quick.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant, 3 post cooldown
Name: Wings of the Water Dragon
Rank: C
Type: Water
Description:
The user prepares to lunge at the opponent, turning his arms into water and pressurizing them until they take the form of a dragon's wings. Afterwards, the user takes a step forward and jumps straight to the opponent, using these wings as support as he is in the air. The user can travel until 15 meters moving at the speed of 10m/s. Once the user is close to the opponent, he slams the wings at them, causing them to explode due to the pressure dealing one C rank damage. At its strongest, it can cause minor bruises and knock the opponent down to the ground due to the force of the explosion.
Strengths:
Just like water drive, this spell helps the user get closer to the opponent. It also deals a good amount of damage and might leave the opponent open to other attacks from the user which will definitely give the caster an advantage. The user can also use this to attack opponents above him as long as they are within the range so with this spell, the user technically flies though for an incredibly short duration.
Weaknesses:
If the user attempts to attack someone in mid-air, he will be sent crashing to the ground since the wings will be removed one he throws them down. This might cause some damage especially if the user lands in the wrong angle which can be costly. If the attack somehow misses then the user is left vulnerable to attacks from the opponent.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, 4 post cooldown
○ D-RANK ○
Name: Water Dragon's... Spit!
Rank: D
Type: Water
Description:
This is the silly, comical version of the water dragon's roar. The user pretends to gather a large amount of water into his lungs but all he is doing is gathering a small amount of water into his mouth. Once the user is done with this, he releases it in a form of small bits similar to that of spit. This 'attack' deals no damage at all. Daichi often uses this to joke around his opponent, making them feel threatened when Daichi's just gonna shower them with a small amount of water.
Strengths:
There is no strength to this magic combat-wise. It is pretty useless and is only used just for laughs or mockery. Nothing else.
Weaknesses:
It has no combat usage since it's mostly used for tricking others.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant duration, 2 post cooldown
Name: Water Dragon's Touch
Rank: D
Type: Water
Description:
The user touches someone, transferring a portion of the water inside him into them. The rate in which the water transfers to the target is incredibly quick so it is hard to avoid once the caster manages to touch you. This spell has different effects depending on the situation it is used. It can be used to transfer water into the target's body or soak someone wet. It doesn't deal damage in any way and is only used for utility.
Strengths:
This is the spell Daichi uses against his elemental weakness, lightning magic users. Most of these users often use lightning in conjunction with their body movements. Once they are soaked wet, they might shock themselves because water is a conductor of electricity, hurting themselves in the process. It can also be used to temporarily hydrate someone which might make a difference between life and death. This can also be used to put out flames by quickly touching its source and soaking it with water, extinguishing it.
Weaknesses:
Physical contact is required in order to perform this spell. If the opponent specializes in long range combat and keeping their distance then it might be difficult to perform this spell. The user can't use this spell on himself since it is just like ingesting his own water which isn't allowed in dragon slayer magic so the user can't save himself from dehydration with this spell.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant, 3 posts cooldown
Name: Water Razor
Rank: D
Type: Water
Description:
The user swings his arm forward, releasing five small razor-like projectiles that can travel up to five meters in a split second. These projectiles can cause small cuts and minor bleeding which will hurt for only a few seconds. The speed they strike makes it incredibly difficult to avoid this spell though the damage it causes can be shrugged off since it won't do anything serious.
Strengths:
This is an incredibly fast spell which Daichi often uses when catching an opponent off-guard. Despite dealing a small amount of damage, it is enough to leave the opponent vulnerable because of the distraction the five razors cause.
Weaknesses:
This spell doesn't deal much damage even if all five manage to hit the opponent. It is just used to distract them. If the opponent is a type of person who always remains focused, the purpose of using this spell is greatly reduced.
Duration/Cooldowns Instant, 2 post cooldown
Name: Water Dragon's Concealment
Rank: D
Type: Water
Description:
This spell requires the user to be on any body of water. If this is met, the user turns his whole body into water and dives deep, camouflaging himself from prying eyes. While in this state, the user can move at a maximum speed of 10m/s. Once the user jumps out of the water, his camouflage will be removed.
Strengths:
This spell is usually used to execute surprise attacks especially if fighting in an environment surrounded by water. The user can't be seen by anyone as long as they don't have spells used for that purpose, allowing the user to strike from unexpected situations.
Weaknesses:
Despite being concealed, the user still retains his physical shape so others can still feel him through touch. Mages with enhanced senses can also feel his presence which will break the purpose of a surprise attack. If the opponent specializes in magic used to see concealed objects, this spell will be useless. The same goes for people who have objects that help them see through camouflage.
