Aoi & Aoba Itou
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Birthday: December 31
Sexuality: Pansexual
Special Characteristics: Aoi is able to shift her face and hair into whatever appearance she wishes that would make sense on a human (eg. she can't change her head into a flower). This is due to the twins being non-human creatures from outside of Earthland who depend on ingesting ethernanos from a living organism in order to survive. In fact, their very human forms were actually taken over by them after they had eaten all the host's ethernanos.
Personality:
As members of the idol due 'Azure', the twins do have special personalities they must project to the public on camera, but over time, it seems as if those personalities have somehow become their everyday images as well. Perhaps it is due to their recruitment at such a young age, but Aoi off-stage isn't really all that different from Aoi for the fans.
In the duo, Aoi as always been the cheerful and bold one, the one who willingly and easily provides fanservice, and does the impulsive things that leave the watchers laughing or covering their faces out of secondhand embarrassment. She isn't afraid to ask questions that might seem too personal or unsuitable for the situation, but she knows her limits well enough to keep from jeopardizing her career. Aoi dives headfirst into unfamiliar situations, often running far ahead of her brother in that regard despite her slightly older age. She's not afraid of taking risks, coming up with innovative ideas to keep fans happy or to take care of an awkward obsessive fan situation. She is exceedingly confident, never afraid to show off her body in sexier concepts, or to speak in embarrassingly high-pitched voices to project a cuter one. However, on-stage her persona has always been slightly dopey, mostly goofy and funny instead of actually intelligent, something very different when compared with her "mage" personality.
Outside of stardom, Aoi becomes a bit more like the being she was when first arriving in Earthland, one who was cold and a foreigner to emotions. However, her idol self having become habit already, she is still the one who takes the lead out of the two. When it comes to battling, she is the one who improvises, making split-second decisions that could completely alter the entire flow of battle. She makes quick and risky choices that she often ends up regretting, so it's definitely a good thing she has her brother there to make up for when her decisions end up failing. She's a bit of a wild card, working for just her own motives and caring for no one else but her brother. In their relationship, she's the one who provides moral support, being the cheerful and confident one who keeps Aoba from falling into one of his depressive phases, the leader of the twins.
As she would only ever fully trust Aoba to work with her, Aoi rarely has to deal with the dilemma of leader or follower. With Aoba, she falls easily into their dynamics, fighting with the ease of knowing each other's tactics by heart. When she is forced into such situations, however, she will often attempt to take the lead, but will hold little regard for any other members of the group. She is simply unable to function properly with the advantages of such a situation, always feeling the urge to deviate from the general consensus and stir up a fuss. As a result, while Aoi might be an excellent candidate for a spy mission or an assassination, group projects like raids or sieges are simply not good situations to place her in. She is stubborn and unable to cooperate with any except Aoba.
Likes:
- Attention: Aoi lives for the spotlight, and absolutely loves the attention she receives from everyone.
- Thrill: Nothing is fun without a slight edge of danger, right?
- Martial Arts: She's always held an interest in them, because, I mean, they look so cool!
Dislikes:
- Party Poopers: Why try to stop us from having fun? It's just stupid.
- Sleeping: Aoi has always had insomnia, and can't bear the thought of spending half the day just laying there doing nothing. It's a necessary evil to bear, though.
- Pain: I mean, who likes pain? Despite her recklessness, she detests getting hurt in any way.
Motivations:
- Eternal Fame: Whether she lives forever, or simply her name lives on forever, she desires it.
- Invincibility: If she were to become invincible, the very world would bow to her every beck and whim. Wouldn't that be wonderful?
- Discovery: She has a never-ending thirst of curiosity.
Fears:
- Loneliness: If she had no one, who would ever pay attention to her?
- Loss of Aoba: She literally cannot get anything done well without him. They are completely co-dependent.
- Aging: Once she ages, everything people love about her will disappear. It's a terrifying thought.

Height: 160 cm
Weight: 46 kg
Hair: Normally her hair is dark blue with long bangs that are pushed slightly off to either side. Her hair is worn down straight, and occasionally with a ponytail or pigtails.
Eyes: Dark blue
Skin Tone: Pale
Appearance:
- Appearance:
Aoi is an idol, meaning she has to keep a very slim and ideal body for her profession. Her body is like that of a model's, being almost unhealthily skinny with slight muscles from dancing and occasionally working out. Her appearance in general fits the typical beauty standards, and she has a pretty face and long, silky blue hair. Although she is an idol, she still does have to attend school and as such, is often seen in a red and blue typical school uniform. Otherwise, for her job as an idol, Aoi typically wears whatever outfits her management and styling team tells her to. When she has free time, which is very rarely, she likes to wear sweaters or cardigans, with a skirt, leggings, or jeans.

In fact, their very human forms were actually taken over by them after they had eaten all the host's ethernanos.
Personality: Out of Azure, Aoba is the calmer younger brother, the one who is marketed as a mysterious and cool man as opposed to his bright and sunshiney sister. Onstage, he’s a strong dancer, one with a presence that’s hard to miss, but doesn’t exactly stand out like his sister’s. Its powerful and controlled, while Aoi’s style is more free and wild, the two mixing together to form a powerful act. In reality, however, Aoba is an uncertain and often overshadowed person, someone who can easily fade into the background if it weren’t for his celebrity status. With his sister’s confidence right up in his face all the time, it’s no wonder that he often questions his own choices and wonders whether he’s making the right decision. Despite him being considered the strategist of the group, the one who makes careful and clear-headed decisions, water to the fire, Aoba finds himself often in turmoil about whether he really deserves such a position in the end. His sister’s confidence causes her to fail miserably at times, but also to succeed immensely in other times. Not being able to succeed as much as she does hurts his own self-esteem and certainty in his thinking.
However, despite his lack of confidence being a hindrance to him, there is no denying that Aoba is an extremely tricky person. When he’s at his best, it truly is difficult to best him in a game of wits. He knows just what to say to get someone to like him, or what to say to turn people against each other, diverting an opponent from their original goal with some well-placed words. Known among fans for his “silvery tongue”, he’s one of the favorite male idols in the industry for how charming he is, knowing when to look at the screen, and what actions to make to cause his person to seem even more attractive than before. Being an actor in dramas as well, he is good at controlling his own emotions and staying calm no matter the situation. It doesn’t keep his uncertainty from hurting him on the inside, but he remains confident and stoic on the outside.
Such an ability also associates itself with his battle skills. Due to the nature of their magic, Aoba doesn’t fight on the frontlines as much as Aoi does, with her hotblooded passion. Instead, he remains in the back, only moving if he can see a way to further increase the effectiveness of the battle, or to strengthen their advantage in some way. Additionally, due to him having a higher endurance of pain than Aoi, he often is the one to shoulder the pain of the spirits that fight for them, leaving his twin to be able to freely fight and attack. While he might not seem as important as he actually is because of these roles tossed at him, Aoba is still the one who can keep Aoi grounded. Without him, she’s like a blazing wildfire who would just keep on going off without a single thought for her safety and survival, no one to pull her back to reality.
When it comes to leading or following, Aoba finds it incredibly difficult to properly cooperate and work with others who are not his sister. Having tuned himself from birth to follow her every move, it’s hard for him to lead people who don’t operate exactly like her, and is uncertain as to how to support those with a different personality than his sister. As a result, although he is less stubborn than his sister, he wouldn’t work well in a team either.
Likes:
- Darkness: In the dark where no one can see him, he can let down his image and just simply be himself.
- Questions: Asking them, answering them, and pondering him, questions are a huge part of his life.
- Challenges: Challenges allow Aoba to test himself against something more powerful, which is a chance to improve himself.
Dislikes:
- Frills: Seriously, he had to wear so many of these onstage as a kid that just seeing them gives him nightmares.
- Compliments: They feel artificial and unnecessary, and send a weird chill down his back.
- Children: They're noisy, and he can't control them with words like he can adults. They don't listen or understand the world in the same way.
Motivations:
- Improvement: If he can improve, he can become useful to his sister.
- Immortality: It would be great to live forever, able to see the changing of the ages and watch and analyze all the different things.
- Aoi: Wanting to support his sister and help her shine has been his goal for all his life.
Fears:
- Loneliness: While he likes moments to be himself, thinking of a world he cannot control because of a lack of people, or because of a lack of Aoi is terrifying.
- Giving Up: He always feels himself wanting to do this, and it scares him, how easily he is willing to forget his goals.
- Death: Death is an uncertain end from which he can never return. He cannot control it, and that's terrifying as well.
General Appearance
Height: 167 cm
Weight: 54 kg
Hair: Normally his hair is dark blue, and just a little bit longer than what is normal for a guy. He has long bangs that sometimes drops into his eyes as well.

Aoba, like Aoi, is an idol, and as such he does have to keep an ideal body shape. While his standards are not as difficult to meet as a girl's it does mean he has to maintain a thin body that is still fairly well muscled. Although he isn't really ripped or anything, he does work out quite a bit in order to meet requirements as a model and performer. Like Aoi, he still attends school, though it's a different one than hers, which is the reason for his different school uniform. Naturally, his outfits as an idol are selected by stylists and management, while he wears hoodie jackets, jeans, and other comfortable casual clothing of normally darker colors.
