Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Blanc 19th January 2019, 8:39 am

On the edge of Oaktown is a certain spot that has become just a brown dirtfield in the midst of a beautiful flower field. Why? Because it has been some time since two rivals who are studying magic  have made this spot their place for their daily competitions. It will take a long time for the flwers to reeturn in this spot, but their growth is not the concern of most people. The concern and problem here is the two rivals who are having fight after fight.

The people in the houses just next to the flower field are complaining for one about the noise the two are making. Next there is also the danger of magic misfiring and hitting a house or destroying more then just some flowers. And lastly we have the Problem of the children being scared and not able to play safely outside anymore. The two are not doing this to hurt anyone, they're just really deep into their rivalry and want to settle the age old question of what is better - fire or ice. They picked the rivalry up from their masters and are now out and about causing problems for others by being careless. And this is where our resident swordless swordsman comes in.

The people who have to deal with those two mages can't put up with them anymore and requested help from mages, writing out a request on the local request table in town. Blanc who was in Oak Town to study about magic and learn all kinds of different tips and tricks, had taken the request and was headed over to said fighting spot to tell the townsfolk that he'd accept their request and end the stupid dispute. Seriously, fire vs ice? Who thought such a cliché would await him in a city who was known for its diverse and broad magical knowledge and research material. Not to say that one could not pin down a magic by strong or weak just by putting them head on against each other. Even fire an ice had different uses and strengths aswell as weaknesses, so what he had to get into their heads was that they were both wasting their time and should instead work together, maybe then they could find something worth speding time on.

From talking to the people though, it seemed they just wanted the two rivals to be removed from here entirely no matter what methods would have to be used - excluding killing and mortaly wounding. It even seemed they specifically wanted the poor two guys removed by force, what a drag, why was it always fighting he got into with the jobs he took? The pay was atleast worth it, he thought and sat down a on a fence infront of the flower field and watched the two guys fight with their ice and fire magic. His goal was to let them weaken each other a little so he had it easier...

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Guest 19th January 2019, 12:57 pm

Ziegfreud or Zieg as he was called by those in the know about him had been bored for a while because there had been no really unique jobs  as of late. The clients were all plain and their requests, pretty damn boring in his humble opinion. So, naturally, when he had come across the request from Oaktown about the fire and ice rivals who were apparently butting heads on a regular basis to resolve the age old question which was better between fire and ice; his interest got piqued and he had decided to sign up for the job almost immediately.

After getting the details of the job from local job request board, he had hoofed it on over to Oaktown and set about talking to the locals about the nuances of the situation, the history between the two rivals, why they posed such a major problem for the Oaktown residents, and other such details since he had a feeling that they would come in handy when trying to chalk out a strategy for ultimately dealing with the two rivals. They had also mentioned the payment of 10k jewel on the job flyer so that was the other reason he was here today. The cash would make for good pocket change should he have need of it later, so he had no reason whatsoever to  turn down the job. After he had finished talking to the residents who had posted the job, he made his way lazily toward the location, a flower field somewhere nearby.

Once there, he spotted a lone man sitting on the fence that served as the boundary of the flower field and so, he was seized by the sudden, irresistible urge to make a splashy entrance, kabuki style. To sate this urge, he had just the right spell for the occasion, his mist spell.

So he stopped about ten paces away from the man and went into conjuring his spell. As per usual, he gathered and focused magic power while taking a deep but silent breath of the Oaktown air. Then he performed a series of handsigns resembling Midian zodiac beasts after which he invoked his power over the water element, using it to infuse his magic power into the water vapor laden air in his lungs. He then uttered the name of the spell in an audible voice just for show while exhaling powerfully

"Water Style: Malevolent Mist - Akuikiri!!"

Thus the spell took effect, causing a thick, white, completely opaque, ominously swirling, mass of mist  that seemed to be almost alive to pour out of his mouth and blanket the immediate vicinity that was within the 30 m range of the spell. Of course, he made it so that it wouldn't hurt the man sitting on the fence in front of the flower field since he didn't wanna rub him the wrong way, just in case. Then, Zieg took out a leaf and started to play a haunting, grass-whistle like tune with it as he slowly walked toward the man from where he was on the opposite side of the flower field, his wooden clogs making a distinctive clopping noise as they made contact with the ground at each step, all the while wondering what the man would think of the showy display that Zieg had put on for him.

Post by Killua 19th January 2019, 2:14 pm

Along a stone walkway leading to Oak Town was a certain red-gold haired mage clad in almost all black except her shirt being white, a backpack slung over her sholder as her head  looking down at a piece of paper in her hand. A job request to be more specific. Two mages have been disturbing the local's in the town over a dispute over which magic was stronger, fire or ice. It was silly really, if she was still a child she would have picked a side, but as her knowledge over magic had grown she threw away the stupid ideas of magic being stronger due to its nature itself.  It didn't matter whose magic is simpler or more complex, in the end it all came down to the user in her opinion.

Entering the town, she moved towards the client's location as listed in the request. After a few minutes of walking around the streets of the town she reached a house that matched the number given on the paper. It took a few knocks before the door opened to reveal  a man in his mid 40's. Showing the request to him the man was pleased to see more and more people coming to provide aid in the matter of the two mages disturbing the peace and quiet. He gave Sara a few more details and seemed she was actually early, the two didn't battle it out until 10 in the morning. They would then fight untill both of them are exhausted to the point of berely walking.

Bidding the man farewell, she sat out to explore the town a bit, there was no point in being at the flower field early only to have to wait for the two mages to appear before she could do her job. By request of the client she wasn't going to murder them or wound them so they couldn't use magic like they used to, no that would be just harsh on the poor lads, she would just show them that there was more to magic then just elements. After strolling throughout the town in what seemed like ages for the young Calamity mage, she started making her way towards the flower field the sun now brightly shining at the path infront of her.

Arriving at the flower field she noted the half-burned and half frozen parts of the landscape. From all the battles they have fought against each other they had made a mark on the land itself, two statements that by just looking at the ground a person could figure out was still no where near being resolved. Looking to the side she saw another pair of people. One leaning on a fance, while the other coming straight too him from the field that he was looking over at, casting a spell of some sort. At first Sara thought it was the rivals starting their battle but as the spell of the mage took effect and covered the area around the them, she threw that thought away the magic didn't match neither of the rivals. If she had to guess those people were doing the request with her. Making her way through the mist, she put on a smile even though the silver haired fellow was singing such a haunting tune, either way she moved in to greet the two mages.

"Hello there, it seems we are going to be partners for this request, my name is Sara" After greeting the two significantly taller mages, she noticed something from the corner of her eye. Two figures approached the area, one from the burned side and the other from the icy. " And it seems our guest's have arrived also" As those words left her mouth, her right eye morphed into an ever so strange pattern.

What kind of fool was he dealing with now? Popped a giant smoke cloud and walked out of it like a delusional kid trying to impress his kid friends. Did he actually mean to impress someone like this? Make animposing entrance? Or was he making fun of himself on purpose? It didn't always happen that Blanc was at a loss for words, basically never, but this had him thinking for a moment. Was that guy here to stop the two rivals asell? He atleast seemed to be a decent mage when judging from his magical power.

That mist was a whole different story though, no matter how one ooked at it, that was way overdone, what if the rivals were to become suspicious and withdrew? This guy was already causing possible trouble while not having even said a word. All of this was happening without Blanc even having looked at the idiot that announced himself in a wall of fog an with music made on a leaf. Totally ignored, basically, what Blanc put his eyes toward, was a girl approaching from the same way that he had come. It wasn't just any little girl, she looked a bit more matured despite her size. What gave her away though, was that she had an amount of magical power that he in his current state couldn't laugh at. Or in short, she was quite good.

She introduced herself as Sara and noted that they would work together on this one. He looked at her for a moment before opening his mouth, noting that both of his temporary companions had an unsettling feeling to their magical essence. I didn't expect companions on this, but I'll not complain about it. Nice to meet you, my name is Blanc. ... and I would guess we are three now." He looked over to the mistwalker and really aknowledged him for the first time. He looked much more serious then his entrance would have suggested, but that was fine each of them had their own way of entertaining themselves. "As Sara did assume, I guess you're in on this too?" He didn't seriously expect an answer, of course he would be, there was no reason to come here otherwise, but Blanc needed to keep the ever so nice facade up, to get along with people and make his life easier.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Guest 21st January 2019, 5:04 am

Zieg had finally closed the distance between him and the man and had been standing there when a chibi woman showed up as well. So as to not rub them the wrong way, he silently dispersed his giant mist cloud with a single brief wave of his hand. However, Zieg didn't start conversing till she joined them them since he didn't wanna make any assumptions about the two and then have those assumptions get him into trouble.

So he stayed silent till the woman introduced herself and while she did, he tried to read her magic energy levels, and boy were they crazy strong. It almost made him step back a little subconsciously out of an instinctive sense of dread he felt emanating from the woman, but he had an image to maintain, so he suppressed his fear with an effort of will and continued listening to his two companions. Soon enough, the woman had introduced herself as Sara and the man was apparently called Blanc. Interesting names, both had, but then he had to get his mind in the game as he had been asked his name by the man whose magic energy seemed to be more around the level of his own.

So, Zieg extended his right hand which was covered by a black fingerless glove with a small, thick protective metal plate designed as a crimson red cloud pattern on the back slowly from inside the large, black, full body cloak with gold borders and crimson red cloud patterns that he was currently using to cover most of his body. He then took off the wide brimmed, Midian style, black colored, crimson red cloud patterned, conical hat which was shielding his eyes from view, revealing not only them, but also his shock of thick, moderately voluminous, coarse looking, upper back length, silver-white hair as well. Afterwards, moving his bright, crimson red eyes from the woman to the man and back again while having a polite smile on his thin lips and a slight but calculated head tilt, he replied, revealing his voice to be a rich baritone, but yet somehow a hypnotically melodious, even leveled one which was neither remotely hostile, nor remotely overeager/forward

"I sure am, Mr. Blanc...or would you prefer I call you just Blanc without the honorific? It's a pleasure to meet you too and I look forward to working with you on this job. My name is Ziegfreud or Zieg, if you prefer. "

He turned his bright, crimson red eyes to the woman next, repeating his greeting in that same tone and with that same cordial grin on those lips of his and the same head tilt

"You too, Sara. It's a pleasure to meet you as well and I look forward to working with you on this job too."

He then took a brief look at the two targets for this job and then turned back to address Blanc and Sara

"So...how do you two propose we deal with those two over there? Perhaps we should acquaint each other with our respective magics and then plot out a strategy so we can get this done as efficiently and with as little trouble as possible?"

He asked them both, and then fell silent while wondering what their responses would be to his suggestion.

Dropping her back to the ground and with a small jump she sat atop the fance. As the white haired man had introduced himself as Blanc. Before she could respond, Blanc had called out to the cloaked mage that was standing infront of them. Slowly he had revealed his features, first was the silver white hair that she noticed, but it wasn't for long, the second he removed his hat, Sara's lone eye stared into his eye's. It was somewhat strange for her, while his eyes didn't mimic her right eye that much, the tomoe's we're the same although they were three, instead of her six spanning a full circle around her shuriken like pattern with the color being green, from his red one's.

She was broken out of her stare as the cloaked man finally revealed himself as Ziegfreud or Zieg for short. "Its nice to meet the both of you. I hope we get along on this job, Blanc, Zieg." As Zieg spoke up again, he mentioned of getting acquainted with each others magic before they could continue with making a plan. Maybe this job won't be as boring as she first thought, the people she just met seemed interesting.

Sara pondered for a bit, before speaking up, she would be the first one to reveal a bit about her magic and put her own two bits into a plan before they could get into the action.  " Most of my magic is holy oriented mostly used in short to mid range" Stopping for a second she extended one arm forward, opening her palm and with a small glow to her eye, a light spear appeared "This is part of my magic, and i can also enhance my body to be tougher or hit harder."

After a small delay and dispersing her magic she continued " I can handle myself in melee combat as i'm pretty decent with hand to hand combat, i can act as a frontline." Her mid range spells we're probably the stronges in her arsenal currently, but she was confident enough to fight the two mages headon in a fight, she could have even revealed them her other half of the powers she possesed but decided against it. If need be she would active it mid fight. But for now she would wait for the two mages to fill her in on their magic's so an adequate plan to be formed for the confrontation.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Blanc 21st January 2019, 12:48 pm

Hmhmhm, very interesting, Zieg it was. His name sounded like one from a rich family from the wetern parts of the continent, or that's atleast what he ha read in a book from his home once. Well a lot of things outside his hometown were different from how he had earned them, which was preciesly why he had decided to travel around the world in the first place, there were just too many fun and unpredictable things out here that served as perfect time kill to sate his hunger for entertainment. With that said though, from all he had seen and heard, Zieg of the both seemed a little more unpredictable at this moment, while Sara seemed stronger. Both deserved respect in their own right.

Listening to Sara's magic first, made him curious as to how her combat would actualy look like. She said close range to mid range was her métier, but what she showed the mostly seemed like she was suited for close range. So the conclusion was to watch her a little more closely in an attempt scout her a little. Holy magic though, seemed to him like it was a waste of magical energy. No, he generally was of the belief that using pure magical energy was more efficient then converting it to one of the elements, but that was only a theory of his so whatever, it sounded cool atleast.

Now, before Zieg got to demonstratete his magic, Blanc cut in, "That sounds far cooler then my magic, I'm glad I got such a reliable partner, haha." He scratched his head as if he was embaressed and raised his fist. A little aura build around it, like a thin film of water. His magic was invisible for the most people and most mage could only feel the concentration of magical power in his hand. Now he was even using it weak enough to be barely there. "I'm afraid I am more of a martial artist and my magic only allows me to enhance my punches, hahaha..." He did a convincing job with his little pretend play of being embaressed. "Ah! But don't worry, my punches can split magic, so I'll be safe and not stand in the way! Though I'm best at attacking from behind I guess." The fact that he could literally deplete a person's magical power and stun them by simply touching them, was swept under the rug. He needed to see their reaction and Zieg's magic before making a decision of how to go on with this.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Guest 22nd January 2019, 12:34 am

All the while keeping his head slightly tiled so his hair could cover the faintly noticeable crease dead center in his forehead where his hidden third eye was, Zieg had been silently listening to Sara and nodded when Sara expressed her wish to get along with both of them and then in response to his suggestion that all of them do a little show and tell about their respective branches of magic, Sara took the field first showing what was apparently holy magic in the form of a spear of light. In addition to that, by her own admission she seemed like she could enhance her melee strikes somehow and could even handle herself up close and personal.

"Interesting, so she is like the rook then...or perhaps dragon king would be better...either way, my plan is right on the money...she deserves more in depth analysis for sure...she could prove very useful to me in the future..."

Zieg thought as he could feel his mind and his muse both aroused by the possibilities of various strategies he could suggest considering Sara's abilities. However, before he could dwell on the matter any further, Blanc began to explain his magic, so Zieg pushed his thoughts to the back-burner for a bit and listened intently to Blanc as he watched him demo his magic with a blithe, totally relaxed expression in his eyes while keeping that same polite, almost lackadaisical smile on his thin lips that he had when he was watching Sara do her magic. According to Blanc, his punches could split magic. That sounded quite worrisome should he ever become an opponent in the future

"Blanc seems like a good blind-spot striker type...bishop, definitely bishop...but, I'll have to watch out for him...his magic sounds like some sort of negation type...and he seems to be putting on an act too...no matter, but...note to self, never piss off these two...ever..."

Zieg cleared his throat a little and pushing this thought to the back as well, he decided to take a cue from Blanc and Sara in hiding the true potential of his magic, at least for the time being. Also like Blanc, he decided to go the extra step in making himself seem just a tad nervous...which was understandable, they were about to enter combat with two opponents who seems rather capable as mages, after all.

"My turn at bat, eh? Uh, so...that mist you two saw before...that's about all I can do unfortunately, but at least it can blind those caught in its embrace for a little while...but that's at least...something, right? Don't worry thou, it can't hit allies, so Sara, you can act as our front-liner without hesitation."

He let out a low chuckle with a clear note of nervousness and embarrassment, making it as natural sounding as possible. Simultaneously, he also arranged both his facial expression and the look in his otherwise freaky red eyes to match the nervousness and embarrassment in his voice. To try to make his act more convincing, he also rubbed the back of his neck to complement the apparent nervousness and embarrassment, making it seem like a tic, which it sorta was, in truth.

He closed his eyes while taking a deep breath as if to stabilize himself, and then exhaled as though he were trying to calm himself down in preparation for the fight. Then, he continued explaining his idea for his role in the overall group effort, the nervousness and embarrassment that was there shortly before, mostly gone, but still faintly detectable

"Now...as for my position, I would say I am an exclusively long range mage as you both could see from that mist spell i cast earlier..so I can try my best to support both of you from my position, Sara and Blanc...As embarrassing as it is to admit this, I am just a fledgling mage, so I hope you two can forgive me for not having more experience with my magic. I am very glad to have encountered two such strong partners as yourselves on this job. I am sure it will make completing it a lot easier."

After he fell silent, he put that same polite, relaxed smile on his thin lips and chuckled briefly again. He also shifted his weight from one foot to the other ever so subtly and gently pushed up a small pile of dirt as he pushed his back foot into the ground while tapping on it a little and glancing at the fire and ice mages they were about to face in battle to show why he seemed nervous now. His tic also made a cameo appearance as he rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled again in that same nervous manner as before, hoping that his act was convincing enough that the two would buy into it, not that he was doing it with any malicious intent of course.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Killua 22nd January 2019, 2:44 am

Cool, one thing she had never heard about her magic, was it because he didn't know about the other half of the coin that was her magic? She wondered, maybe they wouldn't be terrified by the demonic magic she possesed, but cool wasn't a word for it, feral maybe. Leaving those thoughts behind Sara focused back on the topic at hand. Blanc had raised a fist, coating it in magical energy, she could see the thin lines of magic but it was mostly the feeling of it. Martial arts had also piqued her interest a bit, but what was more interesting is that he could split magic. That was something truly interesting.

Sara didn't get much time to add something to her plan as Zieg spoke up. Instantly after he finished explaining his magic she gave him the the benefit of the doubt. She was certain that there was more to his magic then he let out, for the benefit of not having any tension between them, she opted out of saying something, it was better this way, she didn't reveal much about her magic, so who was to say he couldn't hide his own. In the end it was her plan that they we're using seeing that Zieg agreed to her proposition and Blanc didn't add anything to it.

She stayed silent for a bit pondering how they should go about it. Jumping down from the fance it didn't take long for a plan to be formed. "I'll go as frontline as suggested before and you can be rearguards, will try my best to create as much opening as i can for you to attack"

Moving towards the two rivals that we're now facing each other, ready to start their square off like every day. They didn't have a chance, as Sara shouted to get their attention, she needed to pull something off so they can attack her. She had a vague idea how to do it.

"Hey! Numbskulls, there's two options right now, first one is that you two take your fight further away" Stopping for a second she took a deep breath before continueing with a smile on her face "Or the second one is that we pummel you to the ground to show you that magic is stronger depending on the user"

It didn't take long for one of them to respond to her with a deadpan look on his face if she had to guess it was the fire mage depending on the direction he came from. "Yo shrimp, can you get out of here so we don't end up hurting you" The other mage wasn't to far off from saying his two bits also "Yea, we don't want kids getting hurt, this is only between us, so you can leave" Both turning back to each other readying their respective magic.

Her smile faltered, her lone eye glowing in a menacing green. "Listen hear candle stick, why don't you go light a lamp or two seeing thats the best your magic can do" She was furious, calling her like she was some short child just looking to start trouble. They wanted trouble, they we're going to get more then trouble. "And you popsicle, your not even worth insulting."

"Ceasefire until we teach this kid a lesson" "I agree" She didn't plan it at all to go down like this but it seemed like it worked, both of their atention was on her and they didn't want to seem to give her the first move. The fire and ice mage both shot out a long range attack. The fire mage made a fireball that was speeding towards her, while the ice mage shot out a few icicle's with his magic.

For the onlookers it looked like the attack had hit dead center as her position was covered in smoke, some would say the mages went overkill for someone that didn't look much like a fighter. But they we're in for a surprise. As the smoke cleared it showed a ethereal like red ribcage had appeared around Sara protecting her from harm's reach. Extending one arm forwards, about 10 magic circle's appeared behind her, tips of light spears poking out. "My turn" Was all she said and with a click of her finger the spears shot out from their original position, evenly spread among both rivals.

To her surprise the ice mage reacted creating an ice shield, but there wasn't much of an effect as the very first spear broke through it, most of the spears only cut a few small wounds on them as they did their best to dodge her attacks. She had dealt a modarate amout of damage to them but it was not enough to bring them down.

She smiled releasing her ethereal ribcage as a feint red glow now accompanied her small frame. Sara didn't give them much time of a break as she sped towards them. Engaging them in hand to hand combat, either blocking or attacking, she was mostly looking to make opening for Blanc and Zieg to follow up. She wouldn't come unscratched from these exchanges but it was her idea to go in melee and not rly on her demom spells. It was time for her two companions to join in on the fun.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Gah! What an overone performance! Who did he think they were?! Blanc had to try not to laugh it was that bad. So there were to completely opposite things possily going on with Ziegfried over here. Either he was completely useless and as delusional as Blanc first judged him to be, a magician wanna be so to say, a guy who sucked at magic but wante to be a magician so badly he endured the ridicioulusness of his own act, or he was just a really bad liar, trying his best probably, but overdoing it in the process. Blanc was sure Sara had noticed it. It didn't need someone like Blanc who had spend a long time watching and analyzing humans to see that Ziegfreud was hiding something that was related to his magic.

Well that said, now he couldn't even be sure if the name 'Zieg' that was presented to them was real but oh well, he wouldn't be himsef if he didn't alreay have a nickname in mind fitting for this kid playing a mage. Don't worry, chuuni, I guess we all planned on doing this alone originally, so no time worrying now, let's give them a good beating shall we?" Blanc remained calm but with a somehat cheerful attitude that he had shown throughout their encounter so far. He continued by picking up onto the thwo mage's suggestion and stated, "Alright then, if Sara is gonna attack head on, I'll sneak around and ambush them from behind. The flowers should give me a pretty good cover to go unnoticed."

That said, as Sara approached the two rivals, Blanc was out and about sneaking through flowers on silent soles as he had learned it at home. He was not as good an assassin as the most others of his family, but he had definitely kept a few tricks and knew how to move to not be noticed, well for the most part. There was also the fact, that once out of sight from both his companions aswell as the mages, he decided to turn into a cat to make things more favorable. He practically vanished and used the opportunity to listen to the word that were said on the soon to be battlefield. So he thought that calling Sara a child was pretty mean, shrimp was much more fitting, but chibi was probably his favorite - a classic afterall. Hadn't he been a cat, he would have been smirking though, small people and animals always had that fire in them, what they lacked in confidence in their height, they made up with fighting spirit, which in the end equaled out - often atleast. So while they were trading verbal barbs, Blanc closed in and waited for an attack.

Hoho, her magic was indeed interesting to watch and quite flashy one might add. While that was going on though and Sara shot light forged spears at the two mages, Blank transformed back into his human form, which made it seem like he was coming out staight from the flowers - which were tall enough to hide a squatting man. Mid jump he 'geared up' so to say and leet his magical power flow free. But whie he didn't wanna draw too much attention, he didn't shift too much magical power and only used on of his buffs before striking the ice make mage in the back, shredding some of his magical power, while leaving him unable to move for a bit.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Zieg had replied to Blanc with a nod, saying

"Indeed, we shall do just that...they don't seem that tough anyway. Besides, with Sara doing the heavy lifting and you with the blind spot attack, it should be over pretty soon, I think. Good luck then! "

Then he watched as Blanc snuck up behind the ice mage and hit him with some sort of debilitating spell and noted the details mentally as well as he could before his turn came up which it did after not too long an interval.

It was Zieg's turn to contribute to the team effort, so he went into his mist spell. First, he inhaled deeply while making handsigns while leaning back. Then, he invoked the water element and infused his magic power into the water vapor in the air he had just inhaled and let it out in one powerful exhalation after chanting the incantation necessary for the spell

"Water Style: Malevolent Mist - Akuikiri!!

With that the air he had just expelled turned into a thick, rolling, completely opaque and somewhat ominous looking white fog. This fog quickly spread out onto a 15 m circular area in front of Zieg since he had squatted behind the fence he was next to till he was in the blind spot of the fire and ice wizards and now, it encompassed both the wizards in a high and wide dome shaped blanket with the aforementioned height and diameter, blinding them and slowly damaging them and would keep doing so for the next 3 turns for which it would be remaining on the field. Thus his net was complete and now Blanc and Sara could finish off the two rivals in order to complete the job they were all hired for by the Oak Town locals. The fire and ice rivals were luckily confused due to the mist rolling in due to the blindness it had inflicted on them and so, now they were cursing their misfortune. Of course, hearing their angry cries only amused Zieg who sat back and decided to watch till his turn to play came up again.

To say she noticed Blanc transforming would be laying, so she was quite surprised when he showed up behind the ice mage effectivly stuning him and taking him of her back for sometime. The fire mage did not even falter at the sight of his rival being stunned, instead he even took the moment to lunge at her, fist lit up in flames. Finally taking notice of him, Sara was quick to put her guard up, effectively blocking, but was thrown a few feet back from the momentum. The next thing she knew, she was covered in somekind of mist, for a second she thought it was another thing the fire mage could do, but she remembered Zieg's entrance this morning. Smirking Sara jumped a few feat backwards, listening to the curses thrown at them as the rivals couldn't even see thair attackers anymore.

It was time to finish this, her hand slowly came up towards her left eye, and as she was about to lift her eyepatch up, she stopped her hand now resting on the eye that was supposed to be revealed. Sara pondered for a moment even throught the mist there was a chance the other portion of her magic would be shown. She decided against it. In the blink of an eye 3 light spears appeared above her, those spears we're directed at the ice mage, without even a command or a snap like the last time her magic shot towards the ice mage, she directed the spears in a way that they would not do fatal damage, instead the damage done by them would only knock him out.

Next she turned towards the fire mage still cursing at the thick mist, golden like gauntlets forming around her hands, and without hesitation she lunged at the fire mage, delivering 4 fast strikes at his torso and arms, sending him flying backwards out of the mist. She watched the fire mage for a second incase he got back up, but he just layed there, unconscious among the flowers.

Turning to face the two mages, she smailed putting her fingers in the peace sign towards them. "I think our job her is done boys, lets hed out to get payed. We could get something to drink after this" She suggested, and passing by Blanc and Zieg she took off towards Oak town.

Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest] Empty Re: Frosty Relationship Between Fiery Rivals [C-Job][Blanc/Zieg7/Sara Ravencrest]

Post by Blanc 26th January 2019, 12:26 pm

Even ignoring Zieg's and his own magic, there was a huge power gap between Sara and the mages, as Blanc had feared, Sara stole the show. Well that wasn't too bad though, he himself didn't much care for the spotlight himself, so when Zieg's mist enveloped them, he knew he just had to step aside and let the chibi girl do the work for him - her first attack had made that apparent. As for the two rivals, well, they probably knew how to fight eachother, but against the three of them, there was not much resistance, no repect towards Sara who had casually approached them and no worying about potential supporters it seemed. So yes, they had a lot left to learn. "Yes, it seems that was already it, well can't blame them, they definetely weren't expecting this ind of ambush, not that it would've made a difference." He answered on Sara's comment and picked the ice mage up, casually throwing it over his shoulder as if he weighed nothing - Blanc used his infusion magic to enhance his own body, 'Selfmodification' as he called it. He then turned to Zieg and called out to him. So, if you don't want chibi to do all the work, you might aswell help me carry these fools to the townsfolk. Gotta prove we won somehow and leaving them here would just waste time." Ofcourse Blanc didn't really care about that, he just wanted to call the mage out and have him do some extra work for being a naughty little liar. "Alright then, let's get that sweet reward. Let's go." He said and started his way over to the buildings they'd come from. The best part about a job, was the part when you were done and got to enjoy your reward after all.

Zieg noticed that Sara had knocked both the ice and fire mages out cold, thus completing their task. Not bad, for a chibi. At the very least, she had earned his respect for a lifetime. So with that, he dispelled the mist and had walked over to Sara and Blanc. Sara had suggested getting a drink and then left ahead of them. After that Blanc had done his thing and strengthened himself so. he could pick up the ice mage while calling him out to do some work. So he decided to reply just as boldly

"Yea, roger that. It's lucky we had Sara with us. Otherwise, i doubt we would have finished these two off so easily.

Zieg then picked up the unconscious fire mage with one hand and slung him over his shoulder easily, even without breaking a sweat or using any magic at all. Then, he caught up to Blanc fairly quickly and while yawning dramatically, he followed Blanc and Sara to town where the folks were presumably waiting to pay all three of them for their time and effort.
