Turning a blind eye (Job)

The job veleno had accepted, appeared to interest him greatly. He was on a money grubbing mission, as he's willing to do enough to earn some cash. The elderly woman had lost her orbs, and gotten them stolen by a thug, and would wish to get it back. She wanted all of the orbs to return to her in one piece, and without a scratch on them. Veleno had arrived at the job board in order to accept the job. He was certain that it was easy to cheat out of the job, and sell the orb himself. It was stated that the orb can be sold for 2k jewels, which was a lot of money, but at the same time. It wasn't enough. However, as old women aren't good with remembering a lot of things. Veleno could think of some nasty ways to get away with this. Legal guild member or not. Many people can have a sinister side, and cheat the system if they wish to. Veleno would casually display his innocent nature for the time being, and heeded the elderly woman's request. Veleno had headed out to meet the woman, who had put up the job. Veleno wasn't sure what the orbs are for, and why were they valuable. He was also curious as to how she lost them, and why she didn't put them in a safe place. Veleno would always keep valuable things hidden, and would kill someone if those things were to get taken away from him. Displaying some sort of materialism. Nevertheless, he had to take into the account that she was old, and is prone to not remember where things are, and stuff like that. The orbs could be important to her, and would think that she's some sort of fortune teller. Or just someone who would collect rare items, and not sell them off. Veleno was positive that he wouldn't get away from selling a poor old woman's orb for some money, but he didn't care this time.

Veleno had gotten to meet his client. The elderly woman who had requested the job, and the return of her orbs.  The looked fairy short, as expected. She was a bit wrinkly around the face, but not too wrinkly. She had a far decent skin tone. She looked pale, and had black hair. She stood about a few inches shorter than veleno, who towers over her. The woman appeared to be waiting for veleno by a stand. It appeared that she was indeed a fortune teller, with a spooky theme going on. Her round table was covered with a purple cloth, and had a chair, in which she was sitting in. “Greetings deer, I’m grateful that you took upon my request. I do apologize in advance. My memory ain’t all that great like you youngins” The old woman had confirmed velenos suspicion, and couldn’t remember the amount of orbs she had, prior to getting them taken away. “However, what will really help you on tracking those thugs down --”  The old woman seemed like she remembered what the thief looked like, which made the job a bit. Veleno shifted his hips to the right, and his black, neck length hair, had moved with the slight wind that was picking up.

“They looked like they were around a bit in their mid 20s, they had masks that covered a part of their face. Fair skinned, a bit dark.” The woman explained. “How many were they?” Veleno asked. “There were only a pair, so just two of them. They didn’’t travel too far. But you look very capable of taking them out by yourself, so i do hope the job won’t be too much for you.” The woman had high hopes for velenos performance, and looked at him as if he had great potential, and can deal with two thugs without a problem. Veleno had bowed, and set a course for the two culprits that had stolen her orbs. When he turned back to start the mission. He had snuck in an evil smirk, as if he was plotting something. “You shouldn’t always trust people yknow” Veleno thought to himself. Veleno had always learned not to trust others, and not even himself. He was eager to meet these pair of thugs, and would manage to bribe them out of their orbs. With velenos overly feminine traits, he was the ultimate female looking mage. Probably ever in his own generation. He could easily get away with his appearance, and do something fancy with his looks

The pair of thugs were at a safe distance between the old woman, and where veleno currently was. The streets was bustling with people. The two didn’t’ appear to be suspicious of the sort. They looked like ordinary people, just with face masks. It was the only thing suspicious about them. They could just have the face mask in order to prevent them from getting sick, but they were too well designed to be just ordinary mask. The two looked like they were in their mid 20s. One man  had brown hair that runs to his shoulders and a small mustache. He wears a white bandana over his hair, a light purple shirt and gray pants. He looked like one of your typical hard asses, but a cool guy at best. He looked like the type who would steal without a second thought. The other one was a tall, lean man who has light khaki-brown hair. He also wears various accessories on his ear and fingers. He is also missing a few front teeth. He looked a bit intimidating when you first look at him. He appeared to be a well capable fighter, and could probably take out a D rank mage with a few swings. The two was casually walking, and minding their own business. They weren’t in any bit of rush, as if they were to look like they were speed walking to a specific location. The two would attract attention upon themselves, as everyone else seemed to have their own pace. The two with three aqua blue colored orbs. The two which was carried by the one with the white bandana. The other held only one, and had his right hand in his pocket. The two was getting ready to sell what they stole from the elderly woman, as the two could see their client who was waiting by the entrance to the alleyway. Once the two approached the buyer, they looked to their left, and their right, before entering the dark alleyway. It was a good spot to do some illegal stuff.

When veleno was searching for the culprits for the job, he had stopped at a shrine that he saw. He thought it was decorated in an interesting fashion. Veleno walked to the shrine, and began to pray to it, before continuing on his mission. Veleno wanted to make searching a bit more easier for him, as he saw a few things against the walls of a building. They were well supported for someone to step onto them, and climb up the rooftop. Veleno had leaped on the objects that would lead to the roof of the building. He would then grab the ledge, and pulled himself up. Rolling over on his right shoulder, and getting himself up. Veleno had jumped from roof to roof as he could see the two thugs make their way to an alley. Once they had entered the alley, veleno made it in time. Veleno had jumped down the roof, in an heroic like entrance. In between the negotiation that veleno had interrupted. Before veleno could cut to the chase. The three had admired the looks of veleno as he dropped down from the roof. The three had assumed that he was working for the police, and attempted to make an offering in order to let them slide. Before veleno, and the three thugs could talk. They all were stopped by a cop. He had a gun pulled on all four of them, seeing that it was an understanding. The officer assumed that veleno was working for them. Their wasn’t enough time to explain, so veleno did the quickest thing to do in this situation was use his advance spell that was the boiling paradise spell.  He had held his breath in, and spew out a fast, boiling water that rushed to the ground. Catching anyone within the vicinity. Knocking out the police officer. The thugs had made their successful escape, as one had dropped the blue orb. Veleno had picked the orb up, and quickly ran off, before the police could ever wake up from a panic attack, made by veleno. Just a few seconds after the incident. Veleno had made it to where the old woman had been waiting for him. “Seems like they put a lot of work in you” commented the old woman, as she was staring at the tiresome veleno, as he held out the orb that was stolen. “I’ve only seen them carrying one. Which was this one” Veleno says, lying about the other two. “I thank you for the help. I’ll make sure to give you your reward.”
