Description
Markus's magic is usually misunderstood, this particular brand of magic is an ancient and unknown form of unimaginable destruction, which utilizes a chaotic version of darkness, though many wizards mistake it for shadow magic. This magic can not be learned, and must be gifted either by the primordial Chaos or by The Progeny giving it to others as a secondary.
Because of its destructive, chaotic, and 'dark' nature many look at darkness magic as evil, demonic, or corrupt. Though there is some foundation to this belief, this is not always the case. This type of darkness magic, is actually very neutral by nature, and many believe the world was born from darkness.
The nature of this magic makes controlling, understanding, and reversing difficult. As such it is very easy to loose control of, and limited by the casters imagination, and concentration, which when lost can lead to disastrous results. This risk can be controlled by using and compounding spells, channeling more power, or with the user giving their own life force. If the user is in an emotional state the effects of their magic can lead to unexpected results.
The Darkness Magic is a type of Elemental Magic which allows users to manipulate and control destructive Darkness, which takes the form of a physical black void, or 'hole'. This Magic has a physical form which can be used for destroying objects, blocking enemies' attacks, picking up or binding objects, or limiting the opponents options.
The chaotic primordial side of Markus' magic causes it to also has an energetic or element form which is highly destructive, this form like the darkness has various uses, however each one of these spells can affect the users life and health in some way. The damage Markus takes from this kind of magic ignores all resistances and armor, it is taken strait from health.
The issue with chaotic magic is that it is inherently dangerous, as such almost all of his strongest spells cause damage to himself.

Unique Abilities :
- Being of Chaos: Markus has truly become one with chaos, and is now a creature of the void. He can no longer be classified as a human, is instead a 'void dweller'. An addition effect to this is that the voids natural propensity for damage means he does more magical damage.
- Chaotic Form: Due to having a true affinity with the void and darkness Markus has started to 'fade' from this realm. Normally this is unnoticeable, however when he takes damage the 'form' shows itself. This form acts as a damage buffer, allowing him to fade into darkness, rather than take full damage.
- Chaotic Magic: The thing about chaos is, it is neigh impossible to control, and very hard to direct. Markus already has to concentrate and remain passive when using his own magic. As such, it is much more difficult for another mage to attempt to counter-spell, negate, or reverse his spells. An additional effect to this is because his magic is not based in Earthland but the Void he does not loose his passives, UA's or Signatures when in magical dampening areas, and he can still cast normal spells for an increase in mana cos.

Description: With an ingrained control of shadows Markus can now force them to come to the aid of an ally or himself. Once per turn he can choose someone and touch them giving them a protective cover. This cover is shadows enveloping their body like armor.- Name: Shadows Protection

Description: Once per turn Markus can choose someone and place his hand upon that person healing them. However, they feel a cold sensation almost as if someone had breathed down their neck when they are healed. In addition to that, for the turn at which they receive the healing they can use the void energies to rapidly move from one position to another so long as the travel happens on the same turn as this spell.- Name: Chaotic Aid

Description: The chaotic magic Markus controls aids him when he desires. He can activate this ability at will, and when he does he deals more magical damage.

Description: Ever since accepting Chaos' offer Markus has had strange tattoos on his body. All along his right arm, Ribs, and back ending just at his hip are intricate designs of a tribal style which resemble thorns. It turns out these symbols are far more than just a normal Tattoo, Markus has learned to activate their magic and force them to grow. They seem to get darker and start to cover his body. In addition to that all allies within range when this is cast get a temporary tattoo placed upon their body that lasts through the duration, providing the same defenses to all effected. These are defensive in nature and do the following.
First they act as an invisible armor and provide a defensive protection. In addition to this the Tattoo has an inbuilt safety measure. Once per turn the Tattoo rejuvenates those effected providing a healing effect.- Name: Runes of Darkness

Description: Markus cups his hands together and summons an orb of pure chaotic Darkness and condenses it into a small shell. This heavy shell is so condensed that it can not travel at the full speed of a normal spell, however the explosive energy within its form is far more volatile than one would expect.
Suddenly he releases the shell and sends it high into the air in a heavy arc like a mortar shell. When it comes down it lands at a point Markus' decides within range, and then explodes healing heavy damage.- Name: Dark Mortar Bombardment

Description: Markus allows a bit of chaos to slip in from the Domain of Chaos into the realm he is within. This chaotic forces assault enemies within range dealing damage, and causing those effected to be paralyzed every other turn.- Name: Chaotic Realm

Description: Using chaotic magic, Markus is able to effect the battle field, and hamper his opponents spells, providing aid to himself and his allies. He is able to use each of the following once per turn for the duration of this spell.
When Markus, or his allies are effected by an enemies spell, if the spell is of equal or lower rank to this effect, he can decide to negate the spell, and all of its effects so long as he pays mana equal to the rank of the spell in question.
Finally, in order to further hamper his opponents, Markus can select a spell in range which is of equal or lower rank than this effect and reflect the spell back at his opponent, however doing such is difficult for him.- Name: Chaotic Havoc

Description: Markus forms a miniature black hole, or void tear. This anomaly in space time does the following. All enemies and enemy spells within range have their speed dropped, and once every other turn, if Markus wills it, this hole reacts violently with the surrounding area forcing all air, light, and sound to violently be ripped into the void. This causes all within range to be deafened and blinded for one post. This is not a magical effect, but is the result of all photons and sound waves in the atmosphere being forcefully removed.- Name: Concussive Void

Description: Markus charges one of his hands, and his feet with chaotic dark energy. This energy instantly propels Markus forward, as he attacks the opponent in melee range. He then strikes at his opponent with his darkness cloaked hand. If he hits, the darkness deals damage to the opponent, and the darkness dissipates also damaging their mana.- Name: Chaotic Rush

Description: Opening his arms wide Markus opens a portal to the primordial void and forces a massive amount of chaotic bolts of magic to surge forth at his opponent at a high speed moving in a straight line. If one of these beams hit organic matter they deal damage. However, if the bolts of chaotic energy hit ground, or a barrier they instead explode in and deal part of the damage that would have been dealt in a direct attack to all enemies within the burst. An addition effect to this, for however long the portal remains open Markus gets an increase to Magical damage, as chaotic energy floods into his body from the opening.- Name: Chaotic Bombardment

Description: For a brief second all light vanishes from the area around Markus. All allies, including Markus, within range are effected with this flash and will find a temporary bruise upon the back of their neck resembles a dark kiss. This mark provides a boost to all effected mages Spell Damage, and those effected can once per turn purify their body of a negative effect equal to or lower than the rank of this ability.- Name: Chaos' Kiss

Description: The user pulls dark energy around their body and causes it to swirl around them, this energy is very dangerous for anyone who gets into range, and causes damage per round to each opponent inside of it, this effect pierces Armors and Shields as it is a corruption of the air itself, and the reality of the area.
In addition the darkness creeps into their body reducing their resistances , and burns opponents HP and MP. This is only in effect while they are inside the range of this spell, and under its effects.- Name: Dark Miasma
- 4 - H+, Pillars of Chaos:

Description: Markus holds his arms out wide and calls five chaotic pillars from the void itself. These five pillars must be placed near Markus, and equally spaced apart. Each pillars launch a bolt of blood red chaotic energy at the closest enemy once per turn until the duration is up. These bolts when they hit explode into an eruption of chaotic energy, damaging those hit, in addition to dealing Damage to Mana.
An addition effect to this is their connection to the Domain of Chaos and Markus himself allows them to act as a beacon of power. As long as Markus is within range of a pillar, any of the pillars, he gets a boost to Spell damage, he does NOT get multiple boosts if within range of more than one pillar- Name: Pillars of Chaos
