A Night in the Mountains (Semi-open Social, Song, Almyra, and first 2 others)

Song had decided to go on an adventure, somewhere that would help her feel a bit better. Training had been a lot of work and cold. The snow was okay on normal days to do stuff, but she needed a small break from it. This was how she ended up traveling to phoenix mountains for camping, traveling, and having a good time. Having grown up in a desert, she was happy in places that could be burning hot at day, and ice cold at night. Well, so long as those places didn't involve snow. This area was close enough to her guild that it felt like a safe place to go to. For her safe meant close enough to return to the guild if she forgot to bring something important. Her day had been mostly filled with traveling through Silver Wolfs guild territory, slowly making her way over towards the right location. Along the way she ended up grabbing some of the things that smelled edible and put it in her back. The girl had explored slowly to her liking, grabbing sticks along the way. At the end of the day she had gathered a webbed and sizely ball of wood and had already run out of food. Hunger started to creep into the young Talea as night crept its way through the skies. The young arachnids eyes were drawn to the smell of food and the heat of a fire that was felt and smelled in a distance. At first the child moved slowly, but her silent steps with her spider paws were soon as swift as they were silent. The desert arachnid slowed down at the fire, placing the well sized webbed stick ball down. Food. The scent of food. "Uh, hello I'm Song. I'm not good at cooking. Could I trade you some stuff for cooked food? Whats your name? What's your name?"

Almy moved the bird a bit on the fire. It was almost done. She licked her lips, her mouth starting to water at the expectation of food. She inched a bit closer to the fire, enjoying the warmth it gave off as she waited. She found herself wishing she could share this moment with one of her missing friends. Suddenly she heard a voice off to the side. She looked up from her meal towards the noise to spot... a spider child? She had never seen anyone like this before... still, still, the girl seemed nice, and Almy did enjoy children. She smiled. "Hello Song. I'm Almyra. I'd be happy to share my dinner with you, I think there's enough for both of us and it should be ready soon."

She reached over a bit and patted next to her. "Come over here by the fire. It's cold out. If that ball it just firewood, I won't have to go out to find more. We can camp out here together. The snow won't get any heavier tonight." She eyed this girl a bit, curious about her, having never encountered an arachne before. She seemed quite young, too. Perhaps she was lost! "I can help you find your way home in the morning, too. It can be dangerous traveling at night."

"Damn it's cold."

Walking up the mountain, Luna let out a breath as she could see it fog before her eyes. She wanted to go sight seeing after a day of training. She felt exhausted as she was carrying a large bundle of dry wood over her shoulder up the mountain. She was tired yet she still was moving at a brisk pace thanks to the ring on her finger. The Lightning Dragon Eye boosted her speed, so even walking at a normal pace wouldn't drain as much energy. She was wearing her long dark brown winter coat and carrying her pack on her back, she expected to be out for a while. Truth be told, she needed a break from the guild hall, the paperwork load was decent, until you factor in mountain of paperwork left behind by the previous guild masters. Then there was letters of apology for any instance when something happened. Usually not much, Aurora rarely did anything severe.

Eventually, Luna began to see a light in the distance. She could sense the life force of two beings, and the remains of a bird. "A camp fire? Company is always nice, provided I don't stumble upon treasure hunters or a dark wizard." Luna noted that she did bring her own food, but a shared meal is often nice, and it would be a waste of time to set up another fire when instead she could just contribute food and firewood and everyone would be happy. She approached the camp fire only to notice the short Arabian beauty and the Arachnia, her golden heart nearly stopped at the sight of the spider legs, but she still approached the fire. "Hey there! Is there room for a weary traveler to join in? I can contribute wood and food, no use going off and starting my own if this is available..."

Luna added her pile to the collected wood pile by the Arabian girl before she put her pack down and retrieved her tripod stool and set it up. She then pulled out what seemed to be two pots with steam coming out of holes in the lid, and tiny ladles on either side. Luna put them down on the ground as well as a stack of three bowls with spoons. She pulled the lids off to reveal one with rice and the other with curry, both warm. "Fire lacrima slow cooker pots, keeps food warm. I made plenty, help yourselves!"

Luna sat down after she poured herself a bowl of rice then some curry, she sat down only for the other two to see her just poof in a smoke cloud, leaving behind her winter coat and the bowl on the stool, until struggling to come out of her coat was a tiny form of 5.5", flying into the air. Luna took a breathe of air, glad to not be suffocating. "Whew, guess I must've worn out my human form too horribly again." However being dress in nothing but the pink dress made of petals was not exactly wise as she the dropped herself back into the coat and wrapped herself around with in. "Sorry you had to see that, I'm Luna by the way, and as you probably could tell, I'm a fairy."

The Phoenix Mountains was a rather diverse landscape, there were large valleys with their own woodlands. Which popped out like islands between the large mountain chains. Some places were more rugged and consisted only out of treacherous rock formations. While other areas were entirely covered by a thick fog. But despite the large variety the entire scenery did seem to share a single look this time of year. Winter had come, and every three was covered by the cold crystalized powder known as snow. Except for the pines, most of the tree's had lost their leaves, leaving nothing but a bare frame. Hell, if they were sentient Dahau assumed they would've been shivering from the sheer cold alone.

As Dahau ventured forth in this cold landscape, he could do nothing besides listening to the crunching sound of his steps in the snow. The winter birds already stopped singing as the day already drew to its end. However, Dahau had a clear goal in mind, as he looked towards the sky he could see he wasn't that far off. There between the falling snow, there was a clear line of smoke reaching towards the sky. His guess, there was somebody camping out here.
As he drew near, he could hear three distinct voices. Apparently he wasn't the only who came upon this oasis of warmth in an otherwise cold and harsh landscape. Call it human nature, self preservation or just the need to socialize even in an environment as this. People always seem to gather to a campfire.

Dahau made his way through some of the bushes surrounding the site, and with he rustling sound of branches breaking he appeared in front of the girls. 'My my, what do we have here' he said with a smile 'Three young ladies in the midst of nowhere, this must be my lucky day'. Even though he approached the girls rather friendly, his appearance suggested anything but. He was a tall middle aged man who somehow didn't seem to bothered by the cold, easily towering above each of the three girls. His attire consisted out of armor with a long black cloak dragging behind him in the snow. However it was his face that spoke. Even though he smiled and his friendly voice, it were his eyes that were as cold as the surrounding around him. 'Do you mind if I warm myself by the fire for a moment before I press on? Hell I even have some what you guys are eating, because it smells amazing. Unfortunately I don't have anything to bring to the party, well except maybe a tale or two and an old man's knowledge haha'

Song smiled at the shorter person, bringing herself closer to the fire. This sounded perfect! The ball was rolled over closer to the other girl, but didn't hit her with it or anything. "It's nice to meet you Almyra. Thank you for sharing! I was trained to be able to find and gather food stuff, but I was never good at cooking. All that matters to me is if its edible and tastes good." Of course, the spider girl took the offered spot that had been patted by the older girl. The fires warmth felt nice, causing the childs legs to wiggle a bit before she took off her bag. Letting go of the large wooden ball, she sat down then put it in her lap. She opened the bag, pulling out large mushrooms, onions, garlic, spring onions, and perpetual spinach. None of it was cooked, but they were all things that could be used to make something good. "I was trained in scouting, gathering goods, and other things a lot of my life so I don't really get lost. Thank you for worrying. I know I'm young, but I'm very capable!" She puffed her flat chest a bit for a brief time, as if that would make her look older or bigger. The air was quickly released though, along with a few giggles. The warmth of the fire really did feel nice.

But then someone else came over. Weary? It seemed the person had started moving around and setting things up before anyone even answered her. A lot of items just to hold food, It seemed a bit impractical to the youth. She hadn't noticed the fear on the person, seeing as the Talea couldn't see. She was going to bring up that the weight of all the extra stuff she was carrying was likely what was weighing her down and making them weary... but the scent of food quickly stopped her from doing that. Still, she would be less weary and tired with less weight in her bag. Then they turned into... a small person? She felt more than a little confused. "Uh... do you need clothes?" Though it seemed not long after that, an adult male approached. How many people are out in the wild right now? "I won't be a young lady yet until I'm old enough to get my markings." She couldn't see what he had on, or what expression they had on. But something she did know as a person who had been raised to kill? That he had to be stronger, because she hadn't really noticed him before he popped up. But something else she just noticed... "Neither of you said your names..."

Almyra turned to look at Luna with a nod. "Of course! More company is always welcome. Even if you didn't have food, there's plenty of warmth from the fire." Her smile grew a bit as the other woman offered more food, already cooked and ready for consumption. She giggled a bit. "It seems that everyone here is ready for a party."

She turned back to Song now eyeing the food she pulled out. "Thank you Song." She said, before examining the food a bit, making sure the mushrooms were edible and nothing was spoiled before she started to chop some of the garlic and onions up with her knife, putting them on the bird. It wouldn't do much as it was mostly cooked already, but should add a bit more flavor beyond the small bit of salt and ground herbs Almyra carried with her.

She looked up from the food she was preparing as a third individual joined them, an older man, likely old enough to be Almyra's father. "That's perfectly fine. I think we have enough food for everyone, and I at least would love to hear any tales you have." She smiled up at him, though he seemed a bit off putting, Almyra had hugged equally unfriendly-looking men before. Dahau's didn't particularly bother her. She looked to Luna and him. "So, what are your names? I'm Almyra."

Luna noted the rather concerned responses she had gotten from the two other girls, she understood how they felt as she too would be concerned if someone had dropped most of their body mass in an instant.  However she sensed a fourth life force approaching, when she saw the tall man she noted every instinct in her body was the same, run. However, she stopped herself as she was worried about the other two girls, in case her instincts were right. She fought the urge as the man was welcomed, she hoped that she was wrong. She gestered to the bowl of curry as she talked to the man. "I accidentally, changed or reverted to my fairy form."

She then remembered she had yet to introduce herself, she wondered what sort of man was near her, but she figured that it could become clear with an introduction. "Oh, I am Luna, Guild Master of Aurora. Just in the neighborhood for training." However on the subject she did notice a particular symbol on the arachnid's left hand. She figured an inquiry couldn't hurt. "So, Song, are you a member of Silver Wolf?"

Dahau took the curry that was offered to him and gave Luna a nod as a gesture of thanks. He brought the bowl close to his face and took a deep breath so that he could take in the scent of his supper. It was a spicy aroma that tingled his very nostril. Even though the curry didn't look like the main course in a high-class restaurant, it still smelled amazing. However despite it smelled amazing, Dahau didn't even take a single bite, instead, he put the bowl aside and listened to Song's answer while he also took note to his current companions.

They were a weird bunch, a strange gathering of oddities even. The one that had introduced herself first was called Almyra and her appearance felt out of tone with her current cold surroundings. With her dark hair and brown skin she could easily be from one of the warmer countries, like Desiertio. Not to mention the fact that she couldn't be older than fourteen years old.
Song the girl from Silver Wolf apparently was by far the strangest of the three maidens. If you could even call her that. With her eight legs and double sets of eyes, she wasn't your ordinary teenage girl. With an appearance like that, Dahau could see that normal men were either frightened or threatened by her.
Last but not least was the pixie. A girl who suggesting by the current conversation could change her form. But that wasn't the most interesting fact, apparently Dahau was in honored company. Despite being even smaller than Almyra, the girl who introduced herself as Luna was an actual guild master. From the guild Aurora.

'I must say this is quite the pleasant surprise' stated Dahau. 'I've never met a member from either guild before, only to meet two of them right here in the middle of nowhere. I have to ask though. Why did you two join up?'
