There was a sobbing, its sound fading into the silent night. Tears were running down his cheeks as he think about what was going on in his live. His legs was in a shape of w on the grass of the garden, his head leaning against the edge of the fountain which was sitting in the middle of the garden, his arms weak, resting on his thighs. There was no one there as it was late at night, the light from the lacrimas around the garden was fainting slowly... then it all went dark. Sage looked at the sky, noticing that amidst the dark, the moon crept out of its shadow revealing a full moon. Following her was stars lighting up the sky twinkling ever gracefully out of the dark. A smile stretched slowly across his face as he looked up at the beauty of the sky although tears was still running down his face but it was starting to stop.
He began to rise from his weakly position, the moon seemed to draw on him. His eyes was fixated on the full moon as if it was the most beautiful thing there is. A figure then started to appear out of thin air in front of him, her whole appearance ghastly but her face beautiful. She then walked towards Sage as if walking down the stairs. He froze in awe struck by her beauty. She then started to speak,
"Tonight you've lost the one you most dear,
in this silent night I couldn't abandon the lover's tears,
as I am here now you're not to fear,
as I'll tell you your weeping heart he hears."
in this silent night I couldn't abandon the lover's tears,
as I am here now you're not to fear,
as I'll tell you your weeping heart he hears."
Sage was trying to make out the words she was saying with her soothing voice, as he figured out the words she wanted to ask her something, but the lady pressed her gentle hands on his face and he felt as if his soul left his body.
He couldn't see anything, as if the world was so bright he couldn't make out what was around him. He then started to gain some vision but still it was a blur. The world was strangely white but he could make out a silhouette running towards him. He then could see him, his dark sandy hair, his twinkling brown eyes, his skin light dark and his lean tall figure. A smile was etched on their faces, going as wide as it could. Sage ran towards him, Aymie and they hugged each other as they met. A slight tear running across their faces. Aymie then closed in for the kiss, it was deep and passionate like he didn't want to let go at all. Sage grinned as he returned the kiss, his hand around Aymie not wanting to let go either. Aymie then pulled away wanting to look at Sage, his smile warm and his eyes dreamy. Aymie placed his left hand on Sage's right cheek, admiring him for a moment. Sage placed his right hand on top of Aymie's hand as Aymie moved his left thumb, stroking Sage's face. Their eyes locked, both of them smiling at each other. It was one of the moments where they both don't want to let go.
Aymie then broke into tears, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry Sage..." he said as he rested his head on Sage's shoulder, tears starting to flood his cheeks. "Shh..." Sage whispered as his hand stroke Aymie's back trying to calm him down, "It's all going to be okay." he ended the sentence with a slight sadness in his tone. Tears starting to fall from his tear ducts again. "I love you Sage," Aymie said, hugging him tighter. "I love you too Aymie..." and just like that he felt Aymie's body disappear into the void leaving him alone. He was then back to where he was, the rose garden, the ghastly lady now standing in front of him. He looked at the lady, confused and sad. The lady smiled, then her hands both rested on his shoulders. He then felt it, a sudden surge of energy rushing inside him, the ghastly lady glowed, then disappeared from view as he couldn't see anything. His eyes and mouth both glowed with white light. He dropped into the ground, fainting due to the affect of the surge of power.
...
He woke up to the sound of birds chirping. He blinked his eyes at the sight of the bright morning sun. As he gained focus he sat on the ground. He then looked around. Bushes of roses around him, behind him the fountain. He was still at Rose Garden. He then noticed a book laying beside him, its cover coated in silver glass and yet it felt so light. At the middle of the cover there was a symbol, the moon overshadowing the sun. He then realized what happened last night. He met the weird lady, and Aymie... Thoughts were racing through his mind as he wondered how he met Aymie when he should've been dead.
He looked at the book, its silver cover glinting under the sun's radiant light. He opened the book instantly and the contents was something he had never seen before. The handwriting was very delicate and the pictures drawn beautifully. Judging the handwriting and the content he concluded that the book must've been thousands of years old. He went to the first page and the title read: 'These are the pages written by Selene, Goddess of the Moon.'. It then came rushing towards him, as whatever happened last night made a lot of sense. The lady he met was the goddess and he did met Aymie one last time because he met him soon after the goddess touches his face. He then looked further into the book reading the content wondering why did the goddess left the book with him. As he read the content he realized that the book wasn't meant for mortals. As it contain spells breaking the rules of nature itself. He looked at his hand, as he felt a burning sensation on it. he then noticed a mark on his hand, a full moon with two crescent moons beside it, the symbol of the Goddess Selene.
