It wasn't like he was training every single day. But it was a sunday, and everyone was trying to chill out and focus on 'restoring' themselves. He was walking down the room apartment that he had just moved in since he recently joined the Fairy Tail guild which is located very near the apartment. He was wearing his casual dark blue sweater and tight black track pants that has white strips on the outer side of it running all the way down the pants, and a white jogging shoes to complete the set.

The morning air was fresh as ever, with water vapors of dew in the air and the clouds not being too dark. Before he start jogging, he took something out of his pocket, it was a lollipop. A red cherry-flavored one. He unwrapped the plastic and put it into his pocket and placed the lollipop inside his mouth.

He jogged from the front of his apartment to the forests on the edge of magnolia. He wanted to check the place out as he like to practice his magic while being surrounded by nature. Along the way, he saw a lot of people, he identified familiar faces that he saw everyday, like the merchant, the customers, the priests and a lot more. But he doesn't want to get to know them too well, he had two reasons. He is very shy around strangers. He doesn't want to get too close to someone, as he knows what consequence he would bear later on in his life.

When he arrived at the forest, the air was more fresher, he had learn that oxygen is the culprit behind the air that humans deemed 'fresh', and there's a lot more oxygen during the morning as during the night the plants don't photosynthesize due to the lack of sunlight, so when the sun finally comes out, the photosynthesizing machines worked like crazy and produced a lot of oxygen. He smiled a little, being nerdy as he always was. Although not all know about this of course, he was quite a distant person.

He could then suddenly clear the sound of water flowing, the sooth rhythm it gave out was too familiar to be missed. He followed the origin of the sound and what he discovered was a river flowing gently down the stream. He was lucky. He didn't hold back anymore and began to start his training.

He closed his eyes and a little "Fuh..." went out of hus mouth as he breathed out. He raised both of his arms to hid sides, and channels his magic power to the river in front of him by dropping his body a little and set his legs in a position that made the position possible, his arms were then pointing towards the river he moved it in a way and the water from the river raises and spirals of water began to 'dance' around the area. Sage was concentrating very hard at thus point trying to maintain the scene.

While she strongly disliked the crowded town that was Magnolia, Kumi couldn’t deny that their inn’s bed always provided her with the best of sleep. Feeling well rested and much more refreshed the kitsune maiden had decided to take an early morning stroll along the river, one located not too far from the town. She had left just as the sun had began to rise, briskly waltzing through the streets, avoiding any and all that might have given her weird stares for her appearance. It wasn’t too long after walking into the forest till she found what she had been looking for. The crystal water glistened in the rays of the sun, it was a breathtaking view, especially on such a beautiful day.

She lowered her previous pace to a gentle stroll, enjoy the air as it swelled in her lungs, a feeling she always enjoyed. She listened to the chirping of the local birds as they began to awake for the day as well, feeling their small but delicate auras as they flew about, heading off to find breakfast for themselves and possibly their young. However, as she continued her walk she felt a presence that was not quite the others, not the usual birds of fauna of the forest. No, this was definitely the aura of a human, a thought that made her sigh as she pondered whether to continue towards them or turn back around.

Kumi's curiosity as to what a human was doing in the forest eventually won out and she decided to draw closer, ever so slowly. As she did she began feeling their aura grow stronger. They were definitely not an ordinary human like most of the townsfolk. No their aura held such power, they must be some form of wizard for sure, perhaps one from the local guild. Kumi had enquired about them previously, apparently they were called 'Fairy Tail', a strange name for a group of magical humans, but who was she to judge. Wizards were usually not as annoying, nor as judgemental as regular humans, which made her feel a little more confident as she drew nearer. She crept silently closer, attempting to remain as hidden as possible within the dense forestry as she peered through the leaves and branches to gaze in the direction of the wizard. Her eyes were immediately drawn towards the water that was floating in the air, moving with the wizard’s hand motions. A water mage, how interesting, she had never personally met a water wizard before.

The fox girl considered leaving him to his training in the woods, if it had been her she would hate to be disrupted. However, her curiosity and thirst for knowledge won out. She always did enjoy learning about the magic of this world after all. With a small inaudible sigh she calmed herself, before stepping out into the open, hoping that disrupting his concentration would not cause the man to become angered.

"Excuse me, but do you mind showing me what your magic is capable of?" She cooed gently, towards the stranger in her most gentle of tones. If he were to turn and face her he would see a blonde female, with two golden fox ears and nine golden tails that gave her an almost godly appearance as she stood tall and proud. However, her outfit ruined any chance of her being called a goddess. Just a simple red tank top,  black short shorts, a pair of brown leather boots and her white cardigan tied loosely around her waist.

She stood with her arms folded as she awaited a response from the man, her nose twitching slightly as she smelt something sweet, a scent that made her two piercing blue eyes shine with an almost lustful expression towards the stranger.

Post by sagey 27th November 2018, 12:49 pm

While he was concentrating on balancing the flow of water by using his magic, he heard a voice that wasn't familiar, but rather welcoming and non threatening. He dropped his arms in a sudden, the water stream that was caused by his magic followed his arms and dropped as well, creating a bit of a spalsh when it hits the ground, but they were quite far away from where he was standing. He looked around, looking for the source of the voice, he had imagined it to be of a woman's as the voice was quite high pitched and from experience, he could tell it was a woman's.

When he turned his head around he could see a rather beautiful looking woman, but more to his surprise it wasn't any other woman, it seemed to be some kind of a neko. Even though he had never met a neko he knew what a neko would look like but the figure in front of him had a rather odd feature even for a neko's. The figure had nine tails. He had heard of the Japanese legend of the nine-tailed fox, but he wasn't familiar with that topic. She asked him what his magic was capable of, but awe struck by the creature he froze for a moment, jaw dropped and eyes locked on to her. After a while he gained back his consciousnes and blinked a lot of time, words having trouble coming out of his mouth. But he then coughed for a few times to try and hold off his anxiety and gain back his charisma, "Ehem, ehem, I'm sorry about that. Uhh... Well let's see..." he then began to look around as if searching for something but he didn't have anything on his mind to begin with. "Oh yeah," he then gained back his stable mental and focused, he took a long breath through his nostrils and placed his hands at the direction of the river, after a few seconds of nothingness, a sudden rather large wave suddenly emerged from the river, reaching a height of 10 meters height. The wave curved into his direction, forming a large shadow as it was blocking the sun, he then slowly put his arms down and the wave retreats back into the river not causing even a single damage.

After the wave settled, he looked back at the nine-tailed lady and now observed her better. Her outfit looked like she was about the same age as he was, a teenager rather, but looks can always be deceiving. He took a short breath and asked her, "Did that satisfy your curiosity?" with his lips curved more towards his right cheek. He then realized one important detail, "Oh I'm sorry, where are my manners," and ended with a slight chuckle, "My name is Sage, what's yours?" he asked with a smile of course, looking at the nine-tailed girl. He hoped that the giant wave didn't make him look like a freak, but he was reconsidering the way he talk to strangers, and his friends too. He had always lack social skills and everyone he tried to improve them it seemed like he was only making it worse.

Kumi was used to humans staring at her, after all many of them had never seen a creature like her before and even if they had she was still a rare sight to behold. While the gaze of strangers tended to annoy her slightly on the streets, she could not be mad or even slightly irritated when it was her who had started a conversation and somewhat forced him to look at her or be considered rude. Instead she simply smiled till he managed to compose himself and giggled a bit at his apology. At least he appeared to be a somewhat kind human, they did not usually apologise for gawking at her after all.

The Kitsune watched with careful eyes as the man before her focused his magic, before stepping back slightly at the sight of the huge wave rising high above them from the river. It was a fantastic sight and definitely helped her understand how he used his magic. Yes, this wizard definitely had potential, his magical aura still had plenty of growth to make. "Thank you, it is a wonderful magic." Kumi replied with the cutest smile she could muster, he definitely had enough power to possibly make a great ally or a fearsome enemy someday, and she would prefer he become the former for now.

"Nice to meet you Sage, I’m Kumi." The fox maiden replied her golden tails dancing playfully in the breeze as she spoke. As the wind picked up she couldn’t help but pick up the sweet scent again. This time she was certain, it was definitely coming from Sage. However, she wasn’t sure if his scent was just naturally sweet or if he had some sort of snack on his person. Kumi hoped it was the latter, as she felt a small pang in her stomach as she realised she had not eaten all day and a sweet treat would definitely help fill the void inside her.

"You wouldn’t perchance happen to have something to eat on you, would you?" Kumi queeried, strolling closer to the boy, "I’ve been walking all morning and forgot to eat breakfast." she explained her bright blue eyes practically begging him for food as she drew near. She hoped that her pleading look would be enough for him to offer her a delicious sweet treat, or whatever he was hiding on him. Now she was only a few feet away she was able to tell he was actually about half a foot taller than herself, forcing her to look up at him, not that she minded. It just meant it would be even easier to look pathetic, increasing her chances of getting food from him.

However, the closeness definitely made the sweet scent seem even stronger, maybe it was just his natural odour and he had no food. An agonising thought, as she would have to return to the town in order to find herself some, going through the pain of being surrounded by people once more. She held her composure though, keeping her blue begging eyes locked onto Sage’s teal ones, awaiting his response before jumping to too many conclusions.

He blushed a little when she complemented his magic, because he thought that she would freak out and probably leave him. Which is what happened every time he used his magic in front of people. Her name was Kumi, it was a nice name. He watched her tails going about the air, which was very peculiar at the moment because it was a rare sight seeing that many tail moving at once. Then without anticipating it she suddenly drew nearer towards him. He could feel her sniffing his odour, which was quite uncomfortable becuase she was someone he barely met and she was sniffing all over him. He wanted to step back but thinking about it the creature in front of him wasn't quite human so maybe it was fine?

As she was a few centers from him she asked if he had anything to munch on with him. She then added she didn't had anything since morning. He was quite sure that he was out of sweets with him, but he did know a nice place to have something sweet for breakfast.

Before things get more awkward for him he instantly answered to the blue eyes, "Sorry I don't have anything on me right now, but I do know a nice place to have breakfast. Follow me." He said with full of enthusiasm, he himself was thrilled by the fact to go to that food place.

Whether or not Kumi accepted the invitation, he would still insist himself on going to that place as it had been quite a while since he last went there. He would wait for a response from Kumi, if she accepted it he would walk out of the forest and into the town, walking slowly so she could follow him. If she rejected the invitation he would simply leave the forest too as he realised that he was actually hungry too.

Post by Pokomon 30th November 2018, 10:01 pm

Kumi felt her stomach drop a bit as he started his sentence, he had no food on him, a disappointing prospect indeed. So he just naturally smelt really sweet? So strange, she'd never met someone with such a wonderful natural smell before. Sage continued to talk about how he knew a nice place for breakfast. Kumi didn't really want to go somewhere populated right now, but his enthusiasm towards this breakfast place left her intrigued. It must have been something quite delicious for someone to get so excited over. Well, as long as there was something sweet on the menu she wouldn't mind, and she could always use her magic to help blend if once they got close to their destination and out of the forest if she really didn't want to deal with the stares of strangers.

"Breakfast sounds good!" Kumi replied to sage with a nod and a small smile, "Lead the way oh great water mage." the kitsune finished with a small bow and a sly grin, hoping to make him blush even more, it was sort of adorable how easy it was to make this human feel slightly uncomfortable. After finishing her little theatrics she proceeded to walk side by side with him, an odd occurrence for Kumi to say the least. She was a rather independent person, tending to avoid people at all costs, but for some explicable reason she felt quite at ease around this human. The kitsune guessed it must be due to his scent, someone that smelt so sweet had to be sweet themselves surely. A thought that made her giggle a bit on their walk, causing her to look away while she did and hope he wasn't concerned about her sudden outburst.

As they drew close to the edge of the forest, Kumi decided she didn't want to draw attention towards herself after all. Nor did she want to put Sage in some weird predicament should the locals decide to point at the two, it would surely embarrass him. "One second, please." Kumi requested quietly before closing her eyes and focusing her spiritual energy to her tails and ears, causing the fur molecules create the illusion that they were no longer there. It was a little bit more effort than simply changing the colour of the fur but it wasn't too strenuous and allowed her to appear like a regular human teenager to those around her. Only those trained to see through illusions would be able to tell her tails and ears were still there. They were however, definitely still there, and were able to be touched should someone attempt to do so or accidentally walk into her tails.

Kumi would have to be sure to watch herself, but it was easy enough as long as they didn't go somewhere too crowded. "I'm ready now." she announced to the water wizard, waiting to be shown the rest of the way along with his reaction to her appearance change.

Post by sagey 10th December 2018, 12:57 am

He was pleased that Kumi was also excited to head towards the sweets shop and he did blush a little when she complimented him. To him, he wasn't that great of a mage at all. He was just starting to figure out on how to control it. As they walked side by side, he noticed her tails brushing in the air, it was quite cute and he could even feel the fluffiness just from looking at the tail. He wondered what it would feel like to touch it. He was knocked back into his senses when Kumi suddenly laughed. He could easily tell that she didn't want to tell him what was so funny. So he kept on walking and shrugged off the incident.

As they were on the verge of the forest, Kumi asked him to wait for a moment and so he did, looking at her in awe. Suddenly her tails and ears disappeared from view which left Sage's face frozen and he kept blinking his eyes to see if it was real or not. He ended up believing that it was probably Kumi's magic. He looked at her and nodded for awhile. "Mhmm," and since she was ready he just kept on walking forward "Let's go,", trying to pretend that what happened was something that would be pretty normal to Kumi, and he didn't want to make her feel bad. Plus he is the kind of man that doesn't really overreact to things. To him it would look pretty much silly.

As they walked pass stores after stores, he could finally see the sweet shop from the distance. As Kumi was quite short, he dropped his elbow a bit to speak to her as they were walking, "That's the sweet shop I was talking about," as he pointed at a white-pink themed cafe, with a big signboard with 'Momo's' written on it with a cute font.

As he stepped into the cafe, he scanned the area for an empty table available for two. Once he saw one he headed straight towards the table. He doesn't like to take tables that are meant for 4 or 6 when actually he just needed the table for 2. He picked the table beside the glass wall. The scenery of the town was quite pretty as well. Expecting Kumi to sit opposite of him, he would grab the menu prepared on the table and started to read it. "Hmm, there are a lot of choices, and I can't seem to settle on one," with a chuckle at the end. But after a while he didn't want to complicate things and so he called on the waitress. As the waitress stood near him with her hands ready to jot down his order, he opened his mouth with confidence in what he orders, as, he does have issues talking to people, especially people he wasn't familiar with and clearly the waitress was new. "Umm, can I have the sweet crepes with chocolate in it and strawberries on top of it, and a cup of latte will do too," he then looked at Kumi and asked her, "What about you?".

Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon] Empty Re: Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon]

Post by Pokomon 11th December 2018, 3:54 am

Kumi followed the man who called himself Sage, glancing around at the town and those going about their own personal business. She hadn't been around the town for long and now that people weren't staring at her, she didn't feel quite as nervous. She gazed over the sweet shop as they arrived, it was a little prissy for her liking but most sweet stores were made to look cutesy. For some reason people associated sweets with cuteness. Still she followed Sage into the store, the sickly sweetness overwhelming her senses, the place smelt so amazing it almost made her drool. Silently Kumi walked with Sage through the cafe, taking the seat opposite him, careful with her invisible tails, to ensure no one walking by would accidentally trip on them. Kumi looked at the menu, it was rather daunting, the water mage made a good point about it being a difficult decision. Luckily when it came to things like this she always had a go to method, the good old 'I'll have what they're having'. Once the waitress came by to take their order, Kumi waited patiently for Sage to start, once it was her turn she smiled sweetly at the young girl scribbling down their requests. "I'll have the same, but a strawberry milkshake instead of latte." Kumi stated, deciding she'd rather have a cold drink over a hot one right now. The kitsune tilted her head slightly as she waited for the waitress to nod in acknowledgement before hurry off to prepare their meal.

"So, I take it you're a bit of a sweet tooth as well?" Kumi queried with a small kind smile, honestly curious as his scent was so overpoweringly sweet he must just eat them a lot, surely no one naturally smelt so good. As she waited for the water wizard's response Kumi's eyes glanced over to the entry of the store, where three other people entering. People that looked a little shady, but she didn't think too much of it, after all they could just be unfortunate enough to naturally look suspicious, and even if her initial hunch was correct and they were humans with impure intentions it was not her place to meddle with affairs that didn't affect her directly. Even the worst kind of people probably enjoyed treating themselves to a delicious sweet every now and again, so why should she stop them from having a nice time.

Although, Kumi's invisible ears flicked back as she paid closer attention to the feel of their auras, they definitely weren't here to relax and enjoy themselves, something wasn't quite right about them. The vixen would keep a close eye on them for now, but she didn't want to alert her current company to the situation in case she was wrong and there was nothing to make him panic over, after all how would she explain to him that she had a 'bad feeling' about a few people. For now she would continue to watch them from her peripheral vision, careful not to draw attention to herself or her new friend as they waited for their food to arrive.

Post by sagey 12th December 2018, 9:04 pm

He chuckles a bit when Kumi asked him the question. It's a question he doesn't get a lot but people close to him would instantly know he is a sweet tooth. "Yeah I am actually, can't live without one each day, what gives though?" He asked back, wondering how did Kumi figured he was what he was. Suddenly his gut feeling sensed the wrongness in her mood. He wanted to ask what was wrong but then thinking back it was probably nothing as her mood shifts back to normal. Then it shifted again, he was afraid to ask, maybe he should just wait.

As Kumi answered his question a waitress came and served their food, he looked at her and smiled, "Thanks," then grab the fork and spoon. "After me," he chuckles a bit. But before he could drive the fork into the chocolate filled crepe he could feel a strong tension somewhere in the shop, he froze in his actions and looked around, turning his neck only. Then he saw it. Three suspicious people that he had a bad feeling with. As predicted, the three figures unveil their cloaks and one was holding a machete, another a gun, and the other seemed to hold a book, probably to cast spells with. The whole cafe screamed and shouted, scared of what would happen. But Sage didn't wince even a bit, his fist tighten, veins could be seen popping through his arms and neck. He was furious.

The one with the gun shot the ceiling and the one with the machete laughed frantically, and said "Now give me all your precious items, or somebody will pay..." he licked his lips at the same time. As most of the people inside the cafe started bringing out the item he shouted but his tone steady, "Not a single item will be given to this pile of losers." as he stood from his chair, his veins still could be seen, his eyes filled with rage, The one holding the machete laughed evilly, "and what are you gonna do about it?". Sage smirked, his hand ready to cast a spell, he clenches his right arm and in a blink of an eye a water orb hit the one with the machete, strong enough to knock him off his feet but not enough to knock him out. "Huh, I have been training to cast my spells faster.", he smirks again, "I'll warn you, get out of here or there will be hell to pay." he said with confident.

The one with the gun was kind of pissed of at Sage's words and loaded the gun shooting a bullet at him instantly, he could've choose to avoid it but he didn't, as he wanted to make sure none of the innocents get hurt, as fast as the bullet he swung his hand in front of me and a water orb intercepts the bullet, catching it in the process. "Nice shot, hey Kumi, I think this will end faster if I have a helping hand." he smirks again.

Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon] Empty Re: Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon]

Kumi giggled a bit at his question, to her it was obvious, but she supposed to many it wouldn't be quite as such. "Well for one your choice of breakfast." the kitsune started before placing her elbows on the table, resting her chin on her fists as she leant in across the table staring deep into his eyes, almost like she was going to swallow his soul, "Then there's the more obvious, sweet scent you seem to have." She finished in a sultry tone before leaning back to make room for the food as it was delivered and placed before the two of them, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the food.

Honestly she had nearly forgotten again just how hungry she was, but now that there was such a lovely sight sitting on the table in front of her she could barely contain herself on the inside. Outwardly however, she appeared as cool and calm as ever, carefully slicing her chocolate covered crepes before placing them one small mouthful at a time onto her fork. As the chocolate flavour swirled inside her mouth she was more than grateful to the young water mage for showing her such a wonderful place. Kumi was not one to forget a place that sold good food, especially when they were sweet.

Unfortunately she had only managed to eat one bite before Sage froze and his aura was overflowing with angry energy, "What?" Kumi went to ask, but she turned and saw what he had noticed before she he could answer. The vixen sighed, upset she was going to have to wait before eating the rest of her meal. As the gunshot went off into the ceiling, Kumi quickly covered her ears, while invisible they still worked quite well and the sound was intensified due to their fox like nature. To anyone looking she would have looked almost scared, with her hands on her head as if she was surrendering, but that was definitely not the case. As she watched the scene between Sage and the gunner unfold she was incredibly impressed with his ability to stop the bullet, she wasn't even sure she could have done that. "Of, course." Kumi replied to his request for assistance, forcing her chair back and standing up straight.

Well there was no reason in pretending to be normal anymore she decided, her ears and tails  changing back to being visible to all, causing the men to look a little afraid of her. "You would do well to choose a place where I'm not trying to enjoy a meal next time." Kumi grinned cheerfully at the guy with the machete, deciding to leave the gunner for Sage as he seemed to be capable of dealing with him. To onlookers she would have appeared to almost teleport through the cafe and up to the man's face, with a smirk. In reality she had just forced her aura to move so quickly the human eye could not comprehend her moving, not that it mattered, the result was pretty much the same.

Kumi then controlled her spiritual energy to form a bright blue blade of energy which she used to strike through the man standing wide-eyed and scared in front of her. While the blade appeared to go straight through him, it didn't cause any harm on the outside but rather attacked the man's soul directly, causing him great anguish and forcing him to fall onto the ground, unable to attack back. The vixen then turned to check to see how Sage was doing, checking to see if she needed to help him out.

He was quite proud of Kumi's magic power, which made him wonder what her magic was. But there was no time to lose focus, before he knew it he was grinning with excite, he had never fought magic battles before, this was his first. He didn't know it would be this much fun. The gunner and the magic caster was shocked seeing Kumi teleport instantly to one of them. He used this to his advantage, he swung his arm at the direction of the other two thieves who were in luck to be standing side by side as a teal magic circle forms beside them and a sudden gush of water burst out of the magic circle knocking them sideways and outside the cafe, destroying the cafe's door along the way but Sage noticed this hardly as he was having so much fun. He then whispered, "Soteria," and his body vanished instantly from the place where he was standing initially, and before the thieves could catch up he was behind them outside the cafe, in his hand a trident.

Sage pointed the three pointed trident at the gunner, "Drop your weapons, ALL of it, I know you're hiding them in your belt AND your boots.", the trident's point was very close to his face and he was trembling in fear. "O-Okay...", he reached for his belt and dropped a small gun, then he reached for his boot and took out a knife out of it. Sage then looked at the spell caster but he couldn't do anything as now his book was wet and he was quite beat up from the spell. "Now we'll just wait till the rune knights come," he said, his trident still pointing at the thieves.

The rune knights did come not long after and they thanked Sage and Kumi for defending the innocents. The officers were interrogating them however asking for their names and guild, "My name's Sage Elm, and I'm from Fairy Tail." as the name fairy tail was heard by the crowd which grew bigger at the scene of the fight he could hear whispers of the townspeople saying how fairy tail is quite good but destructive guild. Sage looked around and saw the hole he made at the cafe. "Oops..." he said to himself, just realizing he had damaged something. He started thinking of the punishments Sorano would hand out to him for making her file another issue but then when he think about it again it must've been quite normal for her.

He walked towards Kumi and said to her, "Nice job back there, now I have a meal to devour.". He said cheerfully walking to the table they were sitting before. He took the fork and spoon he was using and started to slice the crepes and sent them straight into his mouth. If Kumi was to join him again he would say to her, "Oh yeah, before we were rudely interrupted when you say that I have a sweet scent do you really mean it? Cause one thing for sure I can't smell myself.".

Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon] Empty Re: Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon]

Post by Pokomon 13th December 2018, 12:23 am

Kumi was glad to see Sage holding his own as the two others were saturated in water, however she hadn't expected the male wizard to simply disappear into thin air. That was definitely a surprise. She wondered if it had something to do with his water magic, but unless it was turning his body into water molecules in the air it really didn't make much sense to her, she would have to make a mental note to ask about it at some point. Regardless it didn't matter for now as she quickly teleported outside in an attempt to chase down the two that were attempting to escape, but before she could Sage was already there, trident in hand, forcing them to give up their weaponry. The vixen placed her hands on her hips, well he was more impressive than she initially expected. Seeing his magic in combat was definitely different to his simple training techniques. Yes, he would definitely make for an admirable ally, especially if his power continued to grow.

As Kumi strolled over she placed her right hand on Sage's left shoulder, "Well that was certainly impressive." she whispered into his ear before removing her hand and crossing her arms at the two before her. Honestly, if it was just her dealing with them she would have made them pay with pain for interrupting her meal. Unfortunately, she was in the company of someone she was trying to make an impression on, so for now she simply waited by Sage's side till the Rune Knights arrived to take them all away. Although, they did ask about the one Kumi had made collapse on the floor in the cafe, afraid she'd killed him, but she assured them he was simply paralysed and would wake up in time. Her magic was made to make people feel intense pain, if they died it would give them sweet relief, not something she wanted to give her enemies most of the time.

"You really didn't have to break the door to the cafe though..." Kumi giggled as she turned back to the cafe behind them once they were alone again. The fox maiden then strolled back towards the sweet store, ready to finish her crepes, she just hoped they'd still be warm. It's not like they had been waiting a long time, but there was a chance it was long enough for them to cool off. Not that cold crepes weren't nice, it just meant the chocolate wasn't quite as melted. Taking her seat once more she waited for Sage to join her before starting to eat, it was supposedly the polite thing to do. After taking a few bites of her breakfast, glad they were at least a little warm still, she stopped to look at Sage dead in the eyes again.

"Sage, I have a proposition for you. Feel free to decline, I don't want to force anyone into anything they're not interested in but, I've been looking for a few mages that I feel have the potential to become stronger. After seeing you in combat I think I could enjoy continuing to fight by your side, how would you like to join me in my adventures?" Kumi cooed in a sultry tone, hoping if her words didn't persuade him her feminine charms might be able to do the trick to win him over. While waiting for his response she returned to her crepes, eating them daintily and enjoying the flavour of the chocolate on her tongue. Should he accept his proposal she would be delighted, however, she knew some people preferred to work alone, after all up till now she had done the same.

It was easier to get jobs done by yourself sometimes, but after versing Althea during the Fairy Festival she had started thinking about how it might be easier to grow stronger should she find others to work and train with. After all how was one meant to improve their skills if they constantly beat up people that were far weaker than themselves, they would just get stuck in a rut, similar to herself. She had considered joining a guild, but having to deal with a large amount of people was definitely unappealing to her, she'd rather have a small team to work with. That way she could pick and choose who she felt she could deal with on jobs and in life in general. Kumi still wasn't entirely sure what it was about Sage that made her want him by her side, perhaps it was his scent of sweetness or maybe it was his strength and combat ability, but she felt comfortable being around him in her natural form, something that was rare for her around humans.

Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon] Empty Re: Defend the Sweets! [Job|Sage|Pokomon]

Post by sagey 13th December 2018, 6:12 am

He blushed a little when Kumi whispered directly into his ears that he made her impressed by all those fighting actions. It wasn't always that he was complimented by someone, maybe it was his place to be a battle mage after all.The fact that he had been trying to find his purpose in life was so foggy until he learnt magic which completely turned his life around.

When he sat back on the table of the cafe, almost everyone inside of it was staring at them both, shocked at the fact that they both could still have a meal after all that happened but to Sage it wasn't quite that catastrophic of an event, he didn't even think that all those fight even lasted a minute. It went by in just a flash. He smirked at the fact that the spell caster, one of the thieves didn't have the time to even do anything, completely defeated by him. At the thought of that he now felt like being a battle mage is his destiny after all. Plus the fact that it was his first battle. He then silent his thoughts and realized what was happening, he had this experience once when he was a chess player with insane skills during his childhood days. He wondered if he still got the mad skills. He was so focused in himself that when a new kid arrived in town and he was defeated by him, he was so overwhelmed he quit chess. He didn't want to be the same thing to dueling, as he would not like it to stop dueling, especially by using magic. He had learn that there will always be someone out there who is much stronger than him, plus he just started learning magic, the road for him is still so long.

Then Kumi asked him something, her voice seducing but he was fully aware of her seducing him as he had a lot of experience during high school. He stopped eating his crepe and his gaze looked to the outside window for awhile, up at the sky. The sky had always been beautiful to him, whenever he looked at it he would feel this solemn rushing through his veins, he didn't know why. He saw two birds flying together, he instantly identified them as ravens and it seemed they were having a great time flying together.

Ever since he was a kid he would love to one day fly among the birds as he could feel the amount of freedom they were having. He remembered telling this once to his grandma and she said that he was very emphatic, being a child he didn't know what that means, and his grandmother would tell him that he could feel what others feel, without words, nor context, nor anything. It has been his weapon since he was a kid, he could tell if someone he met was friendly or manipulative in an instant, some people referred it to instincts or gut feelings. His grandpa however didn't like this particular trait as it made him look soft and warned him to not show this side of him easily to anyone.

He moved his gaze back to Kumi, who was enjoying her meal really badly, he smirked at the sight noticing how cute Kumi actually was. he took a deep breath and let out a huff.
"Yep, I'm in." he said and afterwards grabbed the final piece of crepe and send it down his throat. He wondered who else would be joining this 'adventure' as it would be awkward being him alone with Kumi, he didn't want to easily fall in love with someone...

    again.
