Break the Siege! [Mission | Stefan]

The Ancient Ruins were a fascinating collection of places to visit. That was, when it wasn’t sieged by marauders and bloodthirsty thieves and all. And how come Mura knew all of this? Upon his way on the road, he encountered a curious gentleman with a saddening look on his face. It was as if he had come late for a train to a vacation or to meet his children. It troubled Mura to see him so sad, so the shaman obviously asked about his doings when the man was looking so much at him.

The stranger confirmed his curiosity and told Mura that he looked for help. His village near the Ancient Ruins was being sieged by a group of bandits, and he had found little luck in getting help beforehand. Of course, Mura would accept his request and clear the village of these marauders. Merely saying that to the man lightened his face up.

And now, the shaman had just entered the village… and it was way too silent to be safe.

Now everyone assumed that this neko child was a odd one. He didn’t talk much or really do things out of the normal. His spirits always seemed to be the ones to initiate things. Stefan though never really had a problem with this, but it was weird when a man came up to him and asked for his help. The man had explained that his village near the Ancient Ruins had been siege. Stefan found it quite odd that these people picked a random town but nonetheless he listen to the man. He explained how he hadn’t had much luck in finding anyone to help beside a small little boy. The boy described by the man painted a familiar look in Stefan’s head so he agreed to help.

“OPEN, GATE OF THE GIANT FIREFOX DOG. ARCANTALES” Stefan yelled as he threw his key into the air and caught it, stabbing the air. A door formed open and out came a giant dog like creature. Stefan wasted no time and jumped on top of it and began running into the town. Once they reached the town it was a bit quiet… a little too quiet for Stefan liking until he saw a small figure. Being on who it was he had Arcantales run up to it. “Hey dude. Long time no see.”

Now, the silence was soon broken by Kyuken as the samurai ghost suddenly spotted a huge, ferocious-looking dog creature run up to them. Alongside the creature was a familiar face - it was Stefan, the challenger from the Domus Flau. “Oh, hey there… it’s been a while,” Mura addressed him, “I guess you can help me with these weirdos…”

He pointed a thumb back towards the village, because Mura could clearly see them hiding. “Come out, already! Leave the ruins alone!” Mura scolded them. The bandits were… mildly infuriated. Mura hoped that they didn’t know about him - that could make the mission easier. The power of underestimating the opponent was a strong one.

One of them slowly poked his head out. Upon doing so, he got a full-on, unrelenting force of a water pressure to his head that pushed his body several meters away from his hiding position. He was launched towards a nearby house where a woman and her two children were hiding from the marauders, and they watched as the bandit got quite the concussion from the water attack as Mura locked him stuck to the ground via a metal shell.

It wasn’t their lucky day today, was it? With two experienced wizards here?

Stefan front flipped off Arcantales and landed beautiful next to him. ”Yeah I’m here to help. Once I found out you were here I had to show up.” Stefan said. Their introduction however was ended on a very short note. Mura didn’t take much time before he was ready to get into the fighting spirit again. This was kind of like their first meet up, back in the arena. But he didn’t get to see Mura really fighting during them but he regretted seeing it now. Stefan watch as a man was blasted away with some water he assumed that Mura created. Stefan gulped, well he guess it was his turn. Stefan flipped back on to Arcantales and snapped his hands cashing a small bright light to form around his wrist where his bracelet was. It spun before forming into a quarterstaff with two blades; one on each end.

“Let’s go, Arcantales” Stefan shouted as he twisted the quarterstaff causing it to open and release a chain. The staff became two swords that Stefan began to swing around and once Arcantales reach where the bandits were hiding he jumped into the air and swung the sword in his right hand and lifted the chain up causing a few of the bandits to get hit with the weapon. These guys picked the wrong time to invade a town. As Stefan came down to the ground Arcantales began to disappear, his gate had closed. Thanks buddy was all Stefan thought.

Mura couldn’t help but grin at Stefan’s new spells. He hadn’t remembered seeing bright blades in his possession. Luckily, Mura was just as big a sword fan as any would think - he would prove so by unsheathing Harusame from its scabbard and disappear in thin air. His speed and power surpassed that of the bandits around here, and he had to quicken up and free this sieged town.

A few bullets were sent his way. He easily cut through them with his katana, however, and proceeded to slash right through the gunslinger whose body was marked by his Spirit Bind Magic. Their souls had been damaged greatly, and it didn’t take long before they fainted. “You’ve been here and there recently, Stefan,” Mura commented, “Are you from a certain guild?”
