The mild spring sun paired with the soft ocean breeze filled the air around Tolgalen. Johann von Weiss, former Vice President of the West Fiore Trading Company, now made the Guildmaster of a newly formed legal guild called Dies Irae, in a perhaps somewhat hurried pace, walked down the cold cobblestone road that led from the docks through the port city to the path that led to the Headquarters of the Trading Company. The man was wearing his uniform, a circumstance that in and of itself drew some ... curious gazes, some confused ones, and some that were filled with ire. The man known now as the God of Strength understood. He had been a recognizable person on this continent for the longest time, and now he was just another outsider, some maybe even going so far as calling the leave he had taken a betrayal. Johann paid it no mind. He knew why he had done it, and he knew why he had returned, the rune on the back of his left hand almost burning, singeing into his flesh. He knew that the scripture was a connection to the CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company, and he knew that, with the way the symbol was behaving, there was something going horribly wrong here.

Slowly, he made his way up the road, the familiar path leading him to a similarly familiar building, though today, he would be only a visitor. The occasional sailor or uniformed employee of the Company still stood or turned their head to watch him, undoubtedly intrigued what prompted the man's return to Tolgalen. It was of no matter. He reached the white building, walking through the same old mahogany doorway that led to the entrance hall of the HQ. He did not lose a second, he had no time to lose, walking over to the reception. "Hello Alisha", his greeting would be quick as the blonde looked up from some papers before her, her eyes glistening with recognition. "J-Johann? What are you doing here ...", the secretary quickly asked, Johann finally revealing the reason for his spontaneous visit. "I've come to speak to Ruvel. I am afraid it is a matter of utmost importance", he insisted. The rune on his hand was proof of that circumstance. Proof that Ruvel was in distress, proof that his presence, indeed, was required.

    Familiar Paths

It had been only been a few days since the attack on the young CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company, in one visit the little strength he had still within his spirit had been doused. His entire world had crumbled around him and he was trying to make sense of why this had happened to him. Was he really that pathetic that those who he was once close to had turned their back on him, that they wanted to see his demise, that they really wanted to take everything he had tried to build for himself away? In that one meeting, in that one instant everything he worked on to break away from his past had been removed from him. He was back at square one after being betrayed by one of the few people he thought would never do such a thing to him. The tears that he once had cried and should still be crying due to the pain he was in had left him, not only because his eyes were damaged but because his mind was now telling him if he cried he would be hurt for it. People like him weren't allowed to show such things within the facility he only knew as 'home' so he didn't show his pain as he believed nothing good would come of it.

He also wondered if this was his penance for running away from the facility, not once but twice, the second time helping to take out one of the two higher members of the place. For the moment the twin void princes Amuul and Shindara refused to leave him believing it in the best interests of his safety to have someone around him at all times, especially now he was unable to defend himself. At current the they had made it clear to their summoner that he wasn't allowed outside of the building, he was still healing from his injuries and they had no idea if that was just the first attack of many their cousin would attempt. They honestly didn't want to fight her but knew they had a duty of care to Ruvel that should and would come first thanks to the contract they entered into. Rumours of his attack and injury had started to spread around the company in whispers, almost like if they weren't real they were afraid of the punishment that would follow especially given it was about their CEO. He wasn't known to have the best sense of humour and hated idle gossip at the best of times let alone it be about him.

It hadn't helped that no one had seen him since that day when he had went to the beach, for all his strange quirks and flaws he was known to be fair and seen frequently within the company when he wasn't dealing with clients or on a job as a mage. He took an interest in everyone within the company and so could be personable with them, even looking for ways to help them if they hit difficulties. It had of course bothered quite a few that they had been working for a kid that was seemingly barely in his teens but their view changed when they seen just how much he cared for the company, the employees and those that called Tolgalen home. This is why their was such whispers, the employees wanted to know what was going on but no answers had been given other than Ruvel had been attacked. The twins for the first two days had kept him inside his room while two of his former healing summons came to his aid to help the healing process. They had let the two know that with his mind the way it was he was fighting against it and they had done their best to at least keep his pain and discomfort to a minimum. as they bandaged his eyes and arm before binding it to his body so it was comfortable but he wouldn't be able to move it even if he tried.

It was then the wind elemental priestess had noticed a golden crimson rune on the back of the hand of the arm that had almost been taken clean off and enquired about it. It was glowing lightly and cool to her touch. The twins had notified her that this was something of a gift the master of runes had given their summoner and he had given the same back but in a silvery blue. This of course confused her and they went on to explain that now there were no secrets between them and never would be, outside of their guild's secrets of course but that was understandable. It had caught her off guard as she didn't think that Johann would ever leave the guild he had pledged himself to but she guessed that things took a turn and he couldn't have said no to it. She was happy that he had finally let down all his defences to someone and they had created such bond. After making sure he was asleep they had let her know more in depth details of the runes on the other such as they knew if the other was in trouble meaning they knew it wouldn't have been that long before the master of runes himself would make a visit to see what was going on. In truth they didn't like how it was going to go when he found out everything.

At the moment however Ruvel was in the dining hall near the back, the place had been emptied of all personal so it was only himself and the twins there. It was hurting them being out in the light so remained as close as they could to the shadows while being able to act if the worst were to happen. In front of him was a glass of water, a bowl of soup, three slices of bread, a bowl of fruit, a bowl of apple crumble and custard. As much as the the staff had been told not to give so much it wouldn't be finished it seemed like it had fallen on deaf ears, not that it mattered to much at the moment as he had been sat there for an hour and hadn't made a single movement since being helped into the chair. The twins had made sure that the defences of the hall had been put up and that the door had been locked, they made sure that the failsafe was active and knew that only one person knew how to use said fail safe and that he would be making his presence known soon.

Post by Sol 19th April 2019, 2:57 pm

Sol was currently pacing outside the doors to the dining area and the look on his face was less then pleased. The Reaper was worried greatly and he had just as much info as everyone else in the company that Ruvel had been hurt and that was all he knew, what ate at the reaper was the fact that he felt like he should have been there to protect him since it was why he had been training so hard and had made a promise to Demi to protect him. To know that he had been hurt made the slayer feel dread since he knew that he had been told if he failed and Ruvel was injuried that she would come for him and she would end him in agonizing pain. As he moved back and forth some members of the company looked at him curiously but he ignored them. He had done his paperwork for the day and gotten his meetings pretty much finished but when he heard that the doors to the dining area wouldn’t open Sol wondered if perhaps Ruvel and now here he was waiting and hoping that the doors would open so he could see his Friend and Boss.

Hearing a familiar voice Sol turned his head over to see a Johann at the welcome desk and talking to Alisha which made him blink before he approached. He was sure that the former Vice President would be curious as to Sols new appearance. His skin now being Snow White and his eyes now being blood ruby red though still slitted. The Reaper was also getting used to having his uniform touch his crystal and while it was uncomfortable for him he still managed to deal with it . he turned and walked up to Johann before he blinked at him. “Johann what are you doing here? Word is going around in the company that Rui is hurt but I don’t know more then that and no one can get to him. He hasent been seen for a few days” he explained as he looked at the god of ishgar before him. While it wasent visible the training Sol had gone thru had effected his personality as well and with him coming to terms with things about himself he and denyed or locked away. It made talking to the reaper much different then before along with the reapers temperament. “follow me I think he is in the dining area right now but I cannot reach him due to the doors not opening” he explained as he would motion for the Former Vice President to follow him. He would guild him to the doors before he spoke again.”I don’t know how to open these and unless you do as well then we might be out here for a while” he said simply as he crossed his arms.

Johann did not even need to wait for an answer from the blonde receptionist, the paced clanking of encroaching steps signaling his arrival. Johann turned with stoic expression, looking up slightly to stare into the familiar face, the man that still, after all this time, hadn't learned that interrupting a conversation was a thing most impolite. "I am here to talk to Ruvel, as I was in the process of explaining a literal moment ago", he answered Sol Terumi, one of his former colleagues as Vice President of the West Fiore Trading Company. It was the next few words, however, that broke his expressionless stoicism, his eyes widening. "Ruvel is hurt?". The God of Ishgar paid the man's change in visual appearance little mind. It wasn't his priority to care about that right now. What mattered was the young CEO. He was about to turn around and leave the building when Sol mentioned that he hadn't been seen in days, Johann figuring him most likely being away from the Company HQ if that was the case when the VP surprised him again, mentioning that he was in the Mess Hall. Johann had to force himself to suppress a sigh. Wouldn't that have been valuable information to begin with? How did the other know where the young CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company was if he hadn't been seen in days? The next thing caused him to blink a few times, unsure if this was one of the other's antics again, slowly and indecisively following Sol to the Mess Hall.

"The door isn't opening?", Johann asked rhetorically. A most strange circumstance, indeed, one that could very well be explained by Ruvel. In any case, in his years with the West Fiore Trading Company something like that had never once occurred before. It was certainly out of the ordinary. "Why would I know how to open the doors?", Johann was swift to answer. How was he supposed to know how to fix one of these strange events that just kept happening around the HQ, and how could the other possibly assume that he could fix it? Johann reached for the door handle with his right hand, twisting it. It was locked tight, unmoving. There would be no getting through this like that. Though if Ruvel really was in there ... he absolutely had to get in. He had to check up on the boy and make sure he was going to be okay, make sure that he was there for his friend, his family. The feeling of burning heat returned to his left hand, soft pain racing up his arm. His eyes widened. Perhaps ... perhaps this would work? He reached for the door handle with his left hand, the rune on the back of it beginning to glow softly, the handle twisting in his hand. "There we go", he thought, the entrance to the Mess Hall swinging open at once. Johann's eyes scanned the room for a second, it didn't take long to spot the boy. "Ruvel!", he instinctively called out, jogging forward, the long coat flowing behind him as he quickly moved forward, leaving Sol standing where he was.

"Ruvel! Are you alright?!", the question was really redundant. Johann could see that the CEO's head and arm were bandaged. Obviously, something had occurred, something that had hurt the boy. "What happened? I sensed you were in distress, but ... oh gods", he got a closer look, kneeling down beside him, though making sure not to touch him. "I'm so sorry, Ruvel. I should have been there ...". He regretted not being able to prevent this, due to the circumstances forced on him by the Magic Council no less, but he couldn't exactly turn back time. What he could do was, however, make the best use of the assets bestowed onto him, his sorrow immediately shifting to a burning hatred. "Ruvel. Who did this?", he asked plainly, trying to be as soothing as possible. If only he had been there to prevent this. Whoever had done this ... they would pay for their crimes. After they had lost their last will to live, after they had finally broken, only then would they be granted a painful and merciless end, the crimson glow subconsciously forcing itself into the silver-haired male's left eye as his anger threatened to swallow him whole.

Even though the twin princes knew what was happening behind the locked doors Ruvel didn't, they hadn't told him, there was no need to the rune on the back of his left hand was glowing and that was plenty enough for them to know that the one their summoner held closest was near. It also let them know that soon enough the doors would be opening, they couldn't lie this put them both on edge given how their young summoner currently was but even in his current broken state he would want the elder man near. They would remain by his side and protect him to the best of their ability, even though they knew the elder man wished no harm to the youth they had a contract with, but then again they believed the same a about their cousin and she had turned on him so she could be with another that seemed to have turned on him. They wish they could bring some sort of peace to him but at current they just didn't know how to, before all of this they knew he was straining under the pressure but was finding ways to cope with his new responsibilities but now it was beyond seeing cracks. Their summoner was once again broken.

They watched as they seen the handle of the mess hall door turned yet again but the door didn't budge, still the twins moved to put the hand on the hilts of their straight swords. Soon enough the doors opened and the already steady grip on their swords tighten as their stances changed, it would be easy to see they were ready to defend and/or attack at any given moment if they believed it required 'Please close the door' Shindara would send to the two seeing Sol walk in after Johann 'We do not want people seeing him right now.' Amuul added his tone was calm but unlike his twin brother's it held a somewhat irked undertone 'It is for his protection.' they sent at the same time, both men would know that both Shindara and Amuul took their duties and oath to Ruvel seriously and that they only wanted what was best for him even if it was against his own wishes. Issue was right now their summoner didn't know what was best for him, he had even shut off to them and it worried them to no end. The few summons he had left had all agreed that for the foreseeable future one of them would be with him as it was clear he wouldn't be able to protect himself especially after the last attack.

The new look of the elder male had caught the twins off guard, to them it seemed somewhere between aristocratic and militaristic. It suited his persona in their opinion and though they knew the bond between the two they were still noticeably on guard. Even on hearing his name the blonde headed teen didn't move, he was as still as a statue though the bandages started to glow a little as tears again fell from his eyes. He tried to stop them but they couldn't help but fall 'This is the first time since the attack he has done anything like that...' Amuul commented 'He's been like a statue, it's almost like he's completely shut down even to us.' Shindara continued sadness uncharacteristically heard in his tone openly. 'He's been sitting here for hours and not touched anything on the table.' Amuul said calmly trying to keep his anger in check and succeeding for the most part. 'It's a pleasure to see you again Master of Runes, it is a pity it wasn't under better circumstances.' they finally said together, they knew their summoner had wanted to go see him and catch up and find out more about the sudden departure and such, with everything that had happened however he had found himself busy and troubled so it had been placed on the back burner.

The twins looked at each other for a moment hearing the onslaught of questions as if trying to decide wither or not it was their place to fill in the blanks, for now however they remained silent, it wasn't their place to fill in details. It was true they had been told by Ruvel to answer any questions that Johann may have, however, they weren't the ones being asked, their summoner was. After a long moment Amuul placed his hand on the elder male's shoulder 'You aren't at fault Master of Runes, we barely got there on time... we didn't expect the..' he was cut off feeling his brother's gaze on him, he knew already that he had said to much but on this case it was okay to in his mind, it was for the one they were bonded to's safety. In his mind the guilty parties would have to pay for all that they had done and if that meant telling every small detail of what has transpired since his departure. Shindara looked at Johann for a moment, he could see the anger in the man 'Please, be calm the last thing that he needs is anymore darkness around him right now.' he sent motioning to his now crimson glowing eye hoping he understood.

As Johann questioned if ruvel was hurt Sol simply nodded to him” yes but like I said I don’t have the details” he explained as they had reached the doors and as the former VP questioned why he would know how to opent he doors the Reaper had to resist the urge to facepalm at the question.  Before he could even say another word the man tried to open the  door with his right hand and it failed to budge but then with his left hand the door suddenly opened and the Reaper blinked before he could only wonder why the former VP could open the door and yet he couldn’t. Sol actually felt a spike of annoyance for a moment before he just sighed and let it go and walked inside with the former vice president. In the back of his head he only wondered how Johann still had such clearences when he was no longer part of the company and he made a mental note to ask Ruvel or the twins when he got the chance.

However that idea came to a halt the moment he heard a voice in his head and he  turned and shut and locked the door only to torurn and see Ruvels condition and he moved in just as fast as Johann but he stopped a bit short of him so that way he didn’t intrude on this meeting between Johann and Ruvel or feel like a dangerous presence. “Rui my god what happened.” He questioned more to himself then to the others.  Glancing over to Ruvel he saw two figures near him that he had never seen before and as he saw their indigo eyes Sol relized that these were the twins that he had been told about and he quickly bowed a bit. Enough that he was showing respect to them but not enough that his guard was dropped and he was open.using the training he had from demi he spoke not with his mouth but with his mind too them ‘it is an honor to meet both of you  though I wish it would be under better circumstances” he sent  before he heard them mention that their summoner had been almost like a statue and hadent reacted to anything including them but when Johann appeared  he started to cry  tears of light. It made Sol feel sad that such a thing had happened and he started to feel fear set in.

The reaper knew that Demi had wanted him to Keep Ruvel Safe and if even one hair on his head was damaged she would end his existence and he knew she wasent bluffing since she had been the one to nearly kill him before he knew she had the ability to end him just as easy again. Just by looking at the CEO Sol knew that  he  would be looking down the blade of a scythe very quickly but until then he would make up for this mistake and keep closer to Ruvel if he could.’Shes gonna kill me for sure’ he thought  before he heard the twins say that Johann was not at fault as the former VP blamed himself for not being there and explained that even they had bearly managed to get there in time. As he heard the twins say that Johann needed to calm it made Sol wonder just who had managed to hurt the Blonde CEO so badly.  He knew that  Ruvel was no push over and given the power he had the reaper knew that any foe would have a tough time. It made the slayer question who could have done it. Either they had been very powerful or a more dangerous answer was it was someone Ruvel knew and managed to use it to get close and harm him.

Either answer made the Reaper angry but he took a breath and calmed himself knowing anger would do him no good right now and it wasent good for Ruvel to be exposed to it as well in his current state. The biggest thing in the slayers head right now was how did this come about and how  could it have ended so badly for his guildmaster and CEO.

Much to Johann's dismay, the first thing he heard was not Ruvel's voice, but that of the two summons that seemed to be around him, Amuul and Shindara, which he had met on several occasions before, Ruvel, as a reaction, only beginning to cry tears of light. Just what had happened to the young CEO. The tears didn't help, the lacrima in his chest nearly bursting with pulse after pulse, beat after beat of roaring magical energy that replaced his heartbeat, his blood almost boiling. Apparently, as the two were saying, Ruvel seemed traumatized beyond anything even the silver-haired Rune Mage had experienced with the boy, Ruvel barely even reacting to any presence at all. It was infuriating. Whoever had done this ... they would experience the full wrath Johann had to offer if he got the chance. It was no light threat. They didn't call him the God of Strength for nothing. "Ruvel ... I am so sorry", the man spoke plainly, trying to hold himself back and suppress his own tears. He paid little attention to the greeting of the twin summons, though acknowledged both of them with a nod. The summons urged him to gain control of his anger, and so he would, taking a few deep breaths, the bursting magical presence within him rescinding back. As it stood, though, Ruvel would give him no answer.

Still, it was more than a relief to see that the young CEO was alive, barely, he had been wounded in any case, but he was alive. Instead, he would turn to the two void princes unceremoniously. "Shindara. Amuul", he addressed both of them directly, his tone and expression cold. "I need to know what happened", he would make his first request of the void princes, two more would follow suit. "Who did this, and why did they do it?", he asked, turning to Ruvel, his sad gaze upon the young summoner. It was hard to not give himself at least some blame for it. If he had been there ... he could've prevented the attack. He could've saved his friend the suffering, the pain, he could've taken it upon himself instead of the boy. Fate had a cruel, twisted way of making jokes. Had the young, blonde-haired summoner not endured more than enough for a single lifetime? It would lead to his last question to the void princes. "Lastly, Shindara, Amuul. If there is any way to help Ruvel, to fix this ...", his voice was determined, and if there was a way he would do anything to realize it, "... then please let me know, and I will make sure that whatever it is he needs, it will be granted to him. Anything at all". He couldn't bear the thought of not being able to do anything once again, of having failed someone he cared about once again, of having not been strong enough to protect again. His voice was almost pleading. "Please ... I need to help him".

    Familiar Paths

The twin princes held their ground by their summoner, it was clear they were in discomfort and pain by the light that was in their eyes and on their skin, but they were baring with it for the sake of the youth that was sitting between them. Their indigo eyes going to Sol as he done what was instructed and closed the door the instant that it was requested, he knew this was the last kind of state their summoner would want to be seen by anyone. He knew it would cause a decrease in moral and have them worried in a way that would be detrimental to the everyday running of the company and guild. They also knew that it would have clients wondering if they had the right company if a mage such as their summoner couldn't keep himself safe how would they expect their goods to be protected. They knew that their young summoner was selfless without a fault and that was through no fault of his own, he cared little for his own well being if it meant everyone else would be safe and happy and this worried the pair beyond belief because it could and likely would lead to an early demise for the one they gave a contractual oath to.

Hearing the newly born reapers words they blinked 'I think it is kind of obvious what happened...' Ammul said harshly 'Brother, please keep your calm for his sake' Shindara requested of his of his twin 'He was attacked without remorse first mentally before the physical attacks happened.' Amuul filled in the first part of the blanks at least for now without any request needing to be made, it was clear by tone that he was annoyed but he was trying to keep his composure it wasn't working as well as it had previously. 'Thank you for closing the door, he would not wish to be seen like this by the others. He would be afraid of how it may affect their futures and moral as a whole.' Shindara informed the two men in front of them, his tone was again neutral unlike his brothers. Seeing the bow from the black haired deathless the two raised the hand that weren't still on their sword hilts to their forehead their index and middle finger alone touching their skin as the bowed barely in return before standing. The entire movement had been done in sync their hands soon lowering as respect had been returned in their mind. 'You have met us many times, we just have never been out in the light.' Shindara commented 'For good reason' Amuul added at the end given their racial weakness to bright lights.

For now their gazes turned back to Johann as he once again apologised to their summoner 'He would never blame you master of Runes' Amuul said honestly his eyes going back to Ruvel 'Brother speaks the truth, your the closest thing he has had to true family since his own was taken, so please don't beat yourself up like this' Shindara finished his twin brother's sentence. It wasn't exactly like this scene was easy for any of them to see, for them and Johann especially as they knew everything of the young CEO's past from the last memory he had before his life changed all the way up to the day they parted ways. 'He got your letter and was heart broken, he understood it wasn't easy for your to write either.' Shindara said gently his eyes remaining on Johann 'I was the one who read it to him and we remained with him until he understood.' Shindara explained further 'he understood that you would give him more information when you could without breaking any rules and such you, yourself may have.' Amuul added, they wanted to make it clear that were Ruvel had indeed initially felt sadness, even some guilt that he may have done something wrong but never once had he thought ill of the other. That he understood it was something that he needed to do and would eventually tell him everything if he could.

The twins looked to the elder male when they where addressed personally, now returning the nod they had previously been given with a respectful one of their own. They understood that Johann wouldn't fully stand on ceremony given the subject and wouldn't be to happy if they done it either so brief yet polite show of respect was shown both ways. They listened to the request made of them and looked to each other for the briefest moments it almost like a conversation was happening between the two that neither Sol nor Johann would be able to hear before they looked to Johann once more 'Our cousin Demiari was the one whom done this, the conversations seemed to be amicable at first but something changed.' Shindara started to explain his tone saddened 'She said that that conversation would be the last they would have in such a way...' Amuul continued turning his eyes away 'She notified her touch would now kill him, that she had used him all this time and he had never meant anything to her' Shindara took over the grip on the pairs sword hilts tightening. 'She started calling him Rothe... you do remember what that means right master of Runes.' Amuul continued knowing that he knew the translation meant 'slave' where he was raised and just why it would be so mentally destroying all this came from Demi of all people.

They closed their eyes for a moment 'She was given an ultimatum... She had to choose him or the teacher...' Shindara said quietly 'Like an idiot she chose the mad as a hatter teacher...' Amuul added 'Brother, please...' Shindara scolded Amuul a little 'They had went through a lot together as children, the heart wants what it wishes and nothing can change that, regardless of want.' he reminded him 'Our summoner wouldn't hate her, he would forgive her if she came back but she wanted to make sure we wouldn't allow it... but she chose her path and made sure every eventuality would be covered if he was ever in danger by her or any other happened.' Shindara continued as he pointed to the arm that was bound to his body so it couldn't move 'First she tried to take away everything he held dear, it is all on his left arm...' Shindara explained 'His hope, his strength, his reason for trying to improve, the reminder he doesn't have to worry about his past, his connection to you master of runes... it is all on his left arm.' Amuul clarified as he then pointed to Ruvel's neck 'She then aimed to kill him believing it would be kinder, I deflected but deflected wrong and her scythe went across his eyes taking his sight.' Shindara explained as Amuul moved his point to his summoners eyes 'He is blind and what is worse, we can't use them to check his health any longer.' Amuul explained both men would know just why that was an issue as Ruvel never told anyone anything especially when it came to his health.

The two looked to the side ashamed and shook their heads a little 'A reaper weapon done this, we are unsure if what has been done to his sight will ever be able to be undone or if it can be how to do so.' the pair said to the older male 'Our cousin Oykai is one of the best scholars and researchers within our race so we have had him look for a solution but he also has his day job.' they explained showing they were trying themselves 'We need to get him to eat, drink to begin with... everything after that can come as needed' Shindara let them know his voice filled with sorrow as he spoke 'We need to look into ways of helping him adapt just in case this blindness is going to be something that will plague his life.' added Amuul but he did agree that right now they needed to get sustenance into the youth. The two looked at Sol 'Now knowing all this, I doubt you have to worry about our cousin killing you given it would be hypocritical as she was the attacker.' they said together finally remembering what Sol had said before about their cousin killing him because Ruvel got injured. Their eyes however moved quickly to their summoner as he moved his right hand a little but a quickly as it had started it came to an end.

As Amuul harshly told him that it was obvious what happened Sol flinched since he knew that the Royal had a point and the reaper knew it. As they were told that Ruvel had been attack mentally before he was even attacked physically and it made the Vice President feel deeply sad due to the fact that he felt that Ruvel didn’t not deserve that at all. As he was thanked for closing the door the slayer nodded in understand since he felt the same way and didn’t want anyone else to see the CEO in such a state, Sol was then told that he had met them before but they were never out in the light for good reason to which the slayer simply nodded. As the twins then told the former Vice President that he didn’t need to blame himself and that Ruvel would not blame him either but when they mentioned that the only thing Johann had left was just a letter and didn’t even tell Ruvel personally Sol felt a spark of anger go thru him for a moment before he also heard that Ruvel had understood that he would hopefully be given more information at a later time which made the Reapers flickering irritation vanish leaving him calm again. It was then that Sol noticed just how in pain and discomfort the two were in and he gained a worried look before he spoke thru the connection to both of them.’ I do not wish to be rude but I am worried for your well being I know that our kind normally cannot tolerate the light. I can lower the light in the room if it makes you more comfortable and reduces your pain ’ he asked and hoped that he could help them. From what he had learned from Demi void dwellers didn’t handle the sun well and it caused them pain so if Sol could somehow put them at ease as they took care of Ruvel then he would do so also he didn’t want royalty of his Race to suffer even if they were more concerned about there summoner then themselves.

The next words that Sol heard stunned him right to his core. The twins then explained that Demiari had been the one to attack Ruvel and that it went from a calm conversation to something shifting. The instant he heard the name Sol wondered why it sounded familiar before he shortened it and he relized it was Demi. She had apparently told him that this would be the last time speaking like they had before telling him that he was nothing to her and that her touch would kill him now and then had called him Rothe which Sol blinked before he coughed to gain their attention before he spoke thru the connection.’If I may ask…what does Rothe mean’he asked though he there was worry going thru him as he asked as he worried that he might offend them or upset them but he didn’t know. The other emotion that went thru Sols body as he heard the twins explain further about what she did was fury and confusion. He didn’t understand why she would work so hard to train him and make him stronger to keep Ruvel safe if all she was going to do was try to kill him herself.

It was even harder to hear that Ruvel had been blinded and his health couldn’t be checked at all along with the painful fact that his eyes may not heal at all though Oykai Demis twin was looking into the matter to try and find a solution . they mentioned that they needed to get Ruvel to eat and drink before worrying about other things and even from his distance away the Reaper saw that the food had not even been touched which worried him even further. The big issues were getting him to eat and drink and then trying to find a solution if the worst came to pass and he would be without his sight for the rest of his life. It was then that Amuul told him that Demi would kill him for letting Ruvel get hurt due to how it she herself that had tried to kill him. At that Sol nodded before he also saw Ruvels hand twitch and move just a little bit . he then sighed a bit since he was so confused.’I just do not understand why she would put me thru such harsh training just to do this it doesn’t make any sense I promised her that I would keep him safe and then this happens’' he sent after a moment in case Ruvel did come around by some miracle. He being disrespectful or stupid but it genuinely confused him as to why he was trained so harshly and yet the very person that had done so to make him strong to protect the CEO had attacked him.Sols eyes would glance over to Johann wondering how he would handle the news of himself being trained by Demi considering she had been the one to attack Ruvel but despite his anger and confusion he focused on calming himself. Even if the former Vice President had an issue with him being trained by her Sol didn’t care he had gone thru that hell because he needed to be complete and for Ruvels sake. It had changed him for sure but he had accepted it and had done his training with everything he had all.

"It is precisely because we are family that I blame myself, void princes", he answered when the two summons explained that Johann bore no fault. "I, more than anyone, know this. Family is there for each other when you most need it, and in that, I have failed Ruvel ...". There was no denying the fact that he had missed his chance to protect the young CEO. It was a failing that had occurred before. Johann had failed once again to protect those he held dear with his own strength, the massive, star-shaped scar on his chest an attest to just this fact. Just what was the point, he thought, what was the point of striving to become worthy of the title "God of Strength" when he couldn't use it to protect? Wasn't that what he had focussed all of his efforts in the last few weeks? He was still too weak.

"Ah yes, the letter ...", Johann weakly acknowledged the comment from Shindara, his voice closer to a broken mumble than speech. It was a fact that contributed to his belief of weakness. "I'm sorry, I wasn't strong enough to tell Ruvel face-to-face ... I couldn't watch his heart break. I didn't want to hurt him ... but I thought I could explain it to him later when the Magic Council had declassified the subject ...", he spoke quietly before following it up with what seemed almost like a whisper, a comment directed at himself "Seems like I have missed my chance to be a good brother".

When the twins continued, Johann listened with intent. He was keen on receiving an answer to his questions, and upon hearing a name, he reminisced in old memories for a moment. "Demiari ... hm?", Mars, for the first time since the start of this conversation stretching out from the vessel's subconsciousness, one of the man's eyes turning black in a familiar transformation, though the Lord of War seemed uncharacteristically serious. "I remember her ... the little reaper girl, tssehe ...", the Seal giggled as he spoke, "She called me a "thing". That really hurt my feelings", the Seal clamored sarcastically, Johann interrupting him. "You let that thing out near Rui or go to attack either Rui or Trase due to your lack of control and I promise you no force in existence will prevent me reaping your soul", Johann shook his head. "This is what she told me. So why would she attack Ruvel?". "Her motive doesn't matter, does it? You think we should let her get away with it?", Mars addressed his vessel more than anyone else. "No", Johann replied without delay. "Then I think it is only fair we repay the favor in kind", Mars would giggle in gleeful excitement at the prospect of an upcoming battle, though not without throwing a side glance to the other man in the room. "Hello, former vessel", he accentuated the last two words. "Long time no see. You look a little pale there. Maybe you should get out into the sun more often? Tssehehe ...", The Ambassador of Dies Irae quick to interrupt. "Mars! Enough, we have no time for you screwing around", the Seal simply retreating back into the man's mind with a distorted cackle. "I apologize, please, go on"

"Rothe ..." Johann silently repeated the word in his head, offering the two a nod of confirmation. Just what exactly had gotten into the reaper to call Ruvel by that name ...? Why did she purposefully add insult to injury? To go even further, the twins kept explaining. "Teacher ...?", Johann quietly spoke the word as if trying to figure out who was meant, Shindara's explanation opening the man's eyes. "So you mean to tell me ... that it was Cirven who orchestrated this?", the tone in his voice somewhat unbelieving. The former CEO had been gone for ... months at least, and now that he came back he had called a hit on his adopted younger brother? Johann had a hard time understanding, believing just what exactly the twins were saying, but ... he could rest assured that the information the twins gave others always, always stood correct. It was the why and the how that confused him. Just why would Cirven do something like this ...? Had he really gone mad? "Cirven ... and Demi", he quietly repeated the names to himself, the images of the two burning themselves into his mind, the radiating lacrima inside his chest burning with pain, with hate for the ones who had caused the young summoner so much suffering. He would make sure to make it known to those who should know, make sure that the fate that would await them ... would be no graceful one.

When the two princes mentioned that is was the weapon of a reaper that had caused these injuries, Johann could only nod. Even his maledict would to little against that. The fact that the injuries seemed to be unchangable reality bothered the man to no end, sorrow for the young man overtaking him. "Please let me know if you make any significant development regarding that", he said to the void princes on the subject of research. If there was any possibility to ease the CEO's agony, Johann would want to know, want to help if he could. Still, when the void princes would mention that their young summoner had yet to eat or drink, Johann simply shook his head, standing up from his kneeling position next to Ruvel, softly, lightly placing his left hand on Ruvel's hand that had moved for just a moment before moving to the food before him. "Ruvel, I don't know if you can hear me ...", he said, taking the bowl of fruits into his hand and sitting down next to the young summoner "... it's me, Johann. Ruvel, you need to eat if you want to go on. You have to go on. Please, do it for me", he would pick up a spoonful of what appeared like diced apples, slowly and gently bringing the spoonful to the young CEO's mouth to see if it had any effect, if he would eat at all.

    Familiar Paths

The two remained still for now Shindara's eyes showing sadness and remorse while Amuul's showed anger and calm rage. They didn't like this one bit, everything had been so very calm since Ruvel came to Tolgalen, they didn't want to believe it but they knew their summoner thought it would be something short lived, that the other shoe would drop. It had indeed dropped but not from where even the young summoner could have believed it would have fallen, he was betrayed by those he held close and now was paying the price for letting his guard down. He had tried to blend in, be normal like those who knew some of his past had been teaching him and in part he had. He did have a lot of his conditioning flaws still but he was trying and that was at least a start, he had been proud of himself for just how far he had become but all that had been shattered like crystal. They had watched everything from his shadow from how he was, to where he was back down to how he now was. Fate had been far to cruel to the youth especially at his given age, he had been put through more than several people would see in their life time and he was still putting on the guise of happiness, worrying about others before himself.

The twins had to wonder if it was due to how he had been given life that had caused this or that he had been hurt so bad and so often that it no longer phased their summoner. That he believed that this was his norm, that this was his place in life. Ruvel didn't know this himself and so there was no way that the twins did so it left them perplexed on the subject. Hearing Sol speak to them in the normal method of their race made the two turn their focus onto him 'It is true our kind do not do well with light as we are a void people...' Shidara replied back looking to his brother 'but it is our decision to be in the light...' he continued 'To protect him...' Amuul continued his eyes closing 'It is not easy to be of our kind and have a contract with one like him...' his eye opened 'But we do not regret our decision, we fought to keep our contract with him and would do so again.' they said together 'We care little for our well being when it comes to his safety, so no, leave the light how it is.' they continued speaking together.

It was then they heard the next question from Sol that made them look at their summoner for a moment 'You realise the master of Runes can not hear a single word you are saying, you're telepathy is still to weak to get past a simple person's protection and without an allowance you will never be able to speak like this with him.' Amuul stated realising that this conversation was rude as their was another that shouldn't be left out of the conversation 'Perhaps you should use your mouth as it is your main way of speaking, it is also less rude when there is another in your presence that can not hear.' Shindara added, the twins were proper when it came to etiquette and how things were done, rudeness was not something they would allow from anyone regardless of cast. Once that was stated so both men could hear their words 'As for what Rothe means...' Shindara turned his eyes to Johann briefly before turning them to Sol 'It is not a kind word and there is no reason for it to be said around our summoner.' Amuul's tone was harsh warning Sol not to push the matter any further 'Brother, please calm your temper.' Shindara warned him once again he could understand the anger but he could understand the need for the question to be asked but didn't want to talk about it himself at current.

It was then the other seemed to voice a piece of information that the other male really should know and so the princes looked to Sol. 'That is something you should notify the master of runes about...' Shindara said making sure that Johann was fully aware that there was a piece of important piece of information that he himself should know but they themselves couldn't give due to their own rules. Their eyes looked to Sol once again, they had the answer needed but for now they kept it to themselves. They wanted the young Deathless to let the other know what he had said about being trained by their cousin, the twins were on opposite sides of the argument when it came to their cousin. Where neither agreed with it Amuul believed their cousin a traitor for the betrayal against their summoner, Shindara was more understanding that she was put in a tough situation and done what no reaper should and that was follow their heart over logic. They loved their cousin, she was their family but now she was their enemy and would take her out if the need ever arose.

It was then that Johann's voice caught their attention once more, they could understand his guilt on an equal level. They may not have had the same kind of bond as their summoner and Johann had but they still viewed their summoner as a little brother, they nursed him when he had ended up in the void even though it hurt them to do it. He showed them a kindness that not even their own kind had because of what they could do, he seemed to understand that it wasn't their fault and accepted them as they were, this is why they were so loyal and would take anything the universe would throw at him and protect him. 'Then it means we also failed in our duties, we were meant to make sure he was safe and not...' Shindara couldn't help but trail off, he felt shame that he had let this happen, there should have been no way for it to have ever happened. The pair knew if it hadn't been for Oykai alerting them then they really wouldn't be having this conversation, in fact Johann would likely have been reading an obituary of their summoners untimely demise. 'The notification of his impending death was sent to our scholarly cousin, it is in his contract that he is forbidden to reap our summoner so notified us to prevent it from happening...' Amuul let him know 'She is a reaper herself so would have claimed his soul if another didn't and who knows what would have happened...' Shindara said looking out the window 'Reapers are able to eat the souls they claim if they so desire.' Shindara finished thoughtfully, he knew that the chance of Demi doing this with his soul was beyond slim but at the same time she wasn't acting herself and they dared not think what would happen if Cirven got a hold of it.

Amuul looked at his twin and Johann for a long moment his mouth opening to give a silent sigh 'It does him no good for any of us to play this game, he is alive and that is something.' he said, he knew it wouldn't ease any of them but it was true, the young summoner was alive and had the possibility of recovering, were death would be more than a little permanent. It wasn't exactly the best way to look at things he knew but it was a silver lining in the otherwise dark clouds of the situation at hand. Both the twins knew the guilt that laid in the elder males heart from the time he and their summoner had first met and that this had just added to that, they knew no words could or would console the man but they had been trying regardless. Shindara looked to Johann and for the first time moved from his summoner's side placing a hand lightly on the man's shoulder 'He wasn't alone when he found out, of course he broke down into tears he believed another part of his support had been taken from him and didn't understand why.' Shindara said quietly to the man's mind alone 'He didn't hold it against you, he knew that it would have been just as hard for you Master of Runes. You were being pulled away from your home and family, that their had to be a good reason for it and you would tell him when you could.' Shindara smiled faintly his tone gentle, Amuul had been listening the whole time looked to the elder male 'He was striving to become stronger so that when you next met you would be proud of him.' Amuul let him know watching as his brother removed his hand and moved back to the spot he had been previously, his hand once again moving to his sword's hilt.

'You have missed nothing Master of Runes, you are both still alive and now more than ever he will need his elder brother.' the twins said together hoping he understood just how important he was just now. 'In honesty, she would still consider you a thing lord of war.' Amuul chimed in knowing just how his cousins were, they lacked a tact they did not but then the twins had decided that must have been a reaper trait in general. The two gave a brief nod as the acknowledged Mars's presence amongst them though tilting their heads 9]]'War doesn't have feelings, within war feelings can very quickly make a person dead.'[/i] Amuul said with a small smirk on his lips, the brothers enjoyed training with each other and studying battles they knew with what they were that emotions had no place on the battlefield and this is why they knew their summoner was never going to be a warrior. The two looked at Johann as he spoke the words their cousins once had, they almost looked ashamed that she would have threatened him with such a thing, they got how close she was to the two but to threaten someone like that wasn't allowed even by reaper standards. They continued to listen to the conversation between the two 'She attacked so she couldn't come back...' Shindara to them 'So she could prove her loyalty to him and her so called family' Amuul added the two looking distressed at the end of the conversation 'Please Master of Runes, Lord of War do not give her true passing...' The two seemed to plead bowing low 'I know she hurt him and we all agree with you she deserves her punishment but it is more her life at stake here...' they said standing Amuul quickly drew his blade and moved to slice it across his brother's cheek who didn't flinch a few droplets of darkened blood trickling down his cheek, as it did the same mark had appeared on Amuul himself 'There are only two sets of twins in the whole of our race for good reason' Amuul said 'Twins are dangerous within our race however we hold a weakness what affects one affects the other.' Shindara asked their injuries healing 'So if you end her you will end our cousin Oykai as well and were he does lack tact''And the like of living people' Amuul interrupted 'Well yes, but he's innocent in all of this and doesn't deserve what he will feel but he will accept what will come without argument.' Shindara managed to continued knowing that there was more than one life at stake when it came to punishments there.

The twins shook their heads to the apology 'There's no need Master of Runes, the Lord of War has in own needs and desires.' Shindara stated 'There is no need to apologise for what is his nature.' Amuul added with a smile. 'Orchestrated the entire thing? No, he did however tell our cousin she had to choose between the two she cared for the most in existence and she did.' Shindara stated with a saddened tone hating that it got to this point 'She attacked him without orders, she hurt and aimed to kill him without orders...' his fists clenching once more 'Our cousin attacked him when he was at his weakest, she tore him down emotionally and then attacked physically knowing he was on the knifes edge already' Amuul filled the other in trying to give as much information as he possibly could to the elder male. They gave a nod in acknowledgement showing that they understood that the male remembered what Rothe had meant and why it would have hurt Ruvel so bad to be called it by her of all people. 'We have yet to see teacher himself so we can't give any information on him really, only what we glimpsed from our cousin's mind and because of our rules we can't give that information.' Shindara said, he knew there was a clause that would allow them to talk about it, still they would be uncomfortable if it was called upon by the elder male. Their first duty was to their young summoner and that took president over even how they felt on matters.

They seen the sorrow of the other and wished that he could find peace eventually, but they knew until the ones responsible had been punished there was little chance of this happening. They were happy and sad that their cousin would be punished for the path she had taken but at the same time they worried, if the wisp crystal on the back of her neck was to badly damaged or if it was destroyed both she and her twin brother Oykai would both just cease to exist with no way to return for another life cycle. Their cousin was once a victim but now she was just like those who hurt her and other people, wither she meant it, wither she was doing it for the right reasons, it was still something that shouldn't have been done to him in their mind. He was already so damaged this just shouldn't have happened for any reason, they wanted to see Cirven's demise for doing this had he not made her have to choose then this could have been avoided completely. They knew however that wouldn't be exactly an easy task as Demi would sacrifice herself to protect him and with how they had seen he had been behaving he wouldn't ever bat an eyelash or waste a tear on the lose which was sickening to the pair. They really didn't understand why they could chose such a man over their summoner. Their summoner who was just a boy who really could have used her support due to not wanting to cause any harm to anyone, he just wanted a world filled with peace and harmony in all people. It was a noble thought but they knew the chances of it happening were zero but still they believed if the world changed even a little bit for the better then he was still succeeding in his goals.

Hearing the request the two nodded 'Yes, of course master of Runes.' they said in unison bowing just slightly showing respect to the other and their willingness to fulfil the request made to them. The pair watched quietly now as the white haired man stood and placed a hand on top of the hand that moved only a few moments before, to their surprise it moved again just a little as if he was trying to grab the others hand but it was no where near the strength of holding the others hand. It would just seem to most like his hand flinched once more, they of course knew better and hoped the other would too given their bond. 'It is so far away but we hear a child crying.' they explained 'It started when his hand was touched, we can't get through fully but this is the first time we've heard anything from him since it happened' they finished letting him know, they didn't know if this was just a blip in his mentality because he was there or if he was trying to get back. At current they believed it more the former than the latter. They watched as the man now turned his attention towards their young summoner, sitting as he picked up the bowl of diced fruits, they truly hoped he could get through to him when no other managed to he hadn't eaten or drank since the morning of the attack and not from the lack of them trying that was for sure. As the spoon filled with diced apple was brought to their summoner's lips their eyes saddened as nothing seemed to happen, he just sat their unmoving, it was almost as if he had lost the will to go on, like he was now just welcoming death to make it all stop and it made their hearts sink.

Post by Sol 22nd April 2019, 10:32 pm

As he heard the twins tell him that  even though they were of the Void People that they would have the light left as it was since it came down to Ruvels safety and they didn’t care how much they were hurt they would endure it for him and the Reaper nodded in understanding.’but I am sure that it would…’ he started before he cut himself off knowing that it was their call he had no right to object’very well I understand” he said as he knew to back off and he would leave the issue alone. While Sol respected the twins immensely he felt his respect grow even more as they would even stand the pain of the light to keep their summoner safe. When  Amuul explained that  Johann could not even hear what they were saying to each other and that without permission he would never be able to speak like this with anyone let alone  his former  ally. Sol then relized that he had been very rude and he bowed his head in apology’I apologize  it will not happen again’ he told them as they then told him that the word Rothe was not  a kind word and it was not to be used around Ruvel which as Amuul harshly told him that Sol nodded.’I understand and I will never utter the word’ he said  knowing that if it was that bad then he had no reason to use it at all.

When Shindara suggested that he tell Johann what he had mentioned to them previously Sol blinked before he took a deep breath and prepared himself, considering how the former Vice president would be feeling the Reaper would speak and make sure he knew what was going on no matter what result it created.”Johann there is something you should be aware of, I was actually trained by Demi Recently, it was required to bring balance to myself and also to strengthen me as well since I was incomplete from when she attacked me back when we were turned back to children.” He explained  as he took a breath and  recalled the training he had gone thru, Demi had broken him down so badly but he knew that she had her reasons and he was now stronger because of it no matter how much pain she had inflected upon him he had never given up because he knew he needed to get better for his sake and Ruvels. “When the training was complete I was accepted by her thus my name has changed from Terumi to Detholusin , Though the training was harsh and I knew my chances of dieing were almost certain I pushed forward and completed it not just to bring balance to my soul and admit what I am accept what I truly  am and what I tried to lock away.” He said knowing that he had accepted that he was a monster and that would never change but he didn’t need to lock it away or hide it only control and temper it so it would be a tool for him to use when he needed it.”but  I  also completed it  to protect Rui I promised her I would protect him and even if she turned on him I wont forsake the promise I made” he told the former vice president with a calm tone and a focused voice. Upon hearing the Second Seal speak to him and call him a former Seal made the Reaper curious but he quickly ignored it as Mars then told him that perhaps he should get some more sun which did not amuse the Deathless at all.”Perhaps you should think twice before you decide  to poke fun at someone” he said his tone even but his eyes turned icy for a moment before returning to normal as Johann gained control again."Thank you Johann” he said.

As Johann questioned the use of the Title Teacher and then suddenly mentioned Cirvens name Sols eyes widened for a moment before he clenched his teeth together as his anger bubbled to the surface, he couldn’t believe that the man that had brought him into this guild who had given him a second chance to right his wrongs had done such a thing and even worse had placed the one who taught him into such a situation. The fact though that Demi chose this so called family over her own twin and  Ruvel also made him angry at her even though he knew that Family came first but in this case it wasent her true family. Taking another deep breath Sol let it out and felt his anger die down. One thing that Demi had done that helped him immensely was increase his temperament so he didn’t fly into a rage or snap at people as easy as he used to. The Reaper knew that to remain angry right now was pointless and it wouldn’t help him or Ruvel. As he glanced over at the young CEO  and sighed knowing that recovery for him would be very long and who knows how much damage could truly be fixed, he knew he would be questioning Demi on this the next time he saw her if they did Reaper work together but he also knew that he could not let his fear of her stop him if she came for Ruvel again since he needed to protect him and if he had to risk his existence to do it he would. A the desire to slay cirven went thru his mind but it vanished as quickly as it came as he knew it would most likely not be that easy especially considering Demi had chosen her side and would no doubt protect him. When he saw Amuul suddenly draw his blade the Reaper felt every fiber of his being demanding him to  rush forward and block the blade with his own but he couldn’t even move before the blade had been resheathed and  only a small cut had appeared on Shindaras cheek before Amuuls mirrored it. The slayer released a breath he didn’t know he had been holding and he  nodded gravely at the information that had been given to him.

Seeing Johann sit beside his CEO and try to feed him the slayer could only feel sadness again knowing just how broken his leader had become, if he had known where he had been he could have defended  Ruvel but he had not been told and that meant he had been completely unaware.  Hearing the  twins then say that Ruvel had some kind of reaction deep inside gave the Reaper some hope but he also know not to cling to it since it might not mean much. As much as he wanted to dwell on the past Sol knew that it was better to focus on the present and the future regarding Ruvel. Yes he was hurt but they could still try to get him healing and even then  the possibility of helping his mental state was there though Sol did not know how much of a chance there was. The Reaper also made a mental note to look into ways to heal Ruvel as well since  the more people trying to heal the Blonde CEO the better and it always helped to try and get knowledge from different sources to reach a clear result.

When Sol suddenly addressed him, Johann turned his head towards the Vice President, his eyes trained on him as he listened intently to what the other had to say. Sol revealed that he had recently trained with Demi to complete the incomplete, or so it seemed to the silver-haired Ambassador of Dies Irae. Further, he explained that he had adopted her last name, explaining he had gone through the training the reaper offered to accept what he truly was and to protect Ruvel. Johann looked away, thinking for a few seconds. Of course, he neither liked nor appreciated the fact that Sol was training with the one who had so relentlessly assaulted the young summoner, or appreciate the fact that Sol seemed wholly unfazed by the fact that Demi had turned on the young man, but it wasn't his call to make. He sighed, closing his eyes for a second before opening them again, turning his head to Sol. "What you do with your time is your business and your business only, Sol Detholusin". He stopped for a second before picking back up where he had left off. "But, know this, if I ever come across Demiari again I will not hesitate to strike her down, no matter what you or anyone else says". That wasn't all, however. "And Sol, I will say this once, and only once: If anything happens to Ruvel due to your ... circumstance or the company you keep ...", his tone was ice-cold, his left eye barely holding back the ink-black, cursed color that crept into his sclera at the edges, "... you will wish that you had died back on that day the reaper girl struck you the first time. I hope we understand each other". That was all the man had to say on that topic. Johann took a deep breath, the radiating lacrima inside him following the shift of mood as his pulse slowed.

It was then Johann felt a gentle touch on his shoulder, looking up to see one of the void princes, Shindara, standing before him. "Of course there was a good reason and I meant to tell Ruvel today ...", he spoke back telepathically, "... but it looks like I didn't get the chance due to his status. I just hope I can explain it to him someday.", giving the void princes an understanding nod. He appreciated their assistance given that this was a tough subject for all of them. It was then that the twins went on to ask Johann to spare Demiari's life, explaining with a quick demonstration and the swing of a blade that twins in their race seemed to share damage and weakness, Johann understanding when they mentioned that Oykai would share Demi's fate, whatever that might be. "I see ...", he commented, raising his hand to his chin, thinking. Oykai was certainly a brash little brat that, in the God of Ishgar's opinion, should hold his tongue more often when arrogant babble wasn't explicitly needed, but he did not deserve a fate that would end in death. It was tricky. The silver-haired male was overwhelmed by burning hate for Demiari, but at the same time acknowledged that Oykai had nothing to do with it. He took a deep breath, making his decision. "I will spare her life, should it come to it, for his sake ...", he, of course, referred to Demi's twin, "... but I will make sure that Demiari gets her deserved punishment, so Oykai better prepare himself for that", his look stern before moving on to the next thing.

"Whether Cirven orchestrated it or not, he is involved, and it is his actions that drove your cousin", he spoke to the two void princes, "so in the end, whether he directly ordered it or not, it makes no difference to me. If I cannot administer punishment to Demi ...", his brows narrowed, "... then I will make him responsible for all of this mess, and he will have to answer me for it".

When he had moved to try and give Ruvel some food, Johann realized that he had failed miserably. Ruvel did not react, Johann sighing deeply as sorrow overtook him, placing the bowl back on the table. It had been wholly ineffectual. Johann would instead move his hand back to Ruvel's, at least trying to give him the comfort of his presence when Shindara and Amuul addressed him, mentioning that they heard the cry of a child. Johann's eyes widened. "Shindara, Amuul", Johann began anew, speaking to the summons, "Is there any way you can connect me to Ruvel's mind directly? If it is him crying out then I need to see if I can do something to help him". The silver-haired God of Ishgar was sure the void princes would udnerstand his thought process, but did not know whether what he had suggested was possible at all. It would be down to the summons and their answer to the silver-haired Rune Mage.

    Familiar Paths

The twins remained quiet for the longest time they knew the light did little but make them weaker and even put their own lives in danger, it wasn't even a safety thing for Ruvel that had them refuse the offer for the room to be darkened. It was because they believed their summoner being a being made of light may find comfort within it or help him in some way heal from what had been done to him. Right now they knew he was broken in mind, body and spirit, that the shock of the betrayal couldn't be helping in the slightest, so they would try anything to help him strengthen even at their own well being. 'Do not worry for us, we will survive. You're concern should be on our summoners well being not ours.' Shindara sent to Sol, he knew that every fibre of the man's being would be telling him that they were his concern but they had countermanded it, they truly didn't believe that they were the main priority here and it showed with how they stood even in distress themselves. 'We are thankful for the concern and are more thankful that you have listened to us on this matter.' Amuul said his tone calmer than it had been previously, the reaper wasn't the enemy here at least not to what they could tell at the moment.

The two nodded to the apology but sighed because he had done it yet again with his mind 'You are being rude yet again.' Amuul stated shaking his head 'You apologised with your mind and where we have taken offence to it, can you imagine what the Master of Runes must be feeling only getting half a conversation?' Shindara stated looking to him 'It is to him you should be apologising for you are not only being rude on a personal level but on a racial and a professional one too. He is a guest here.' the two scolded him together, they knew that Sol was still new to his race and so how things were done but he thought that common decency and respect was a thing that all races had on some level. Seemed they had been wrong so would have to knock some sense into him later about it. 'We are thankful on that, we would hate to be the ones to punish you, we are not as physical as our cousins but we are just as damaging when angry.' Amuul commented his tone holding some strength on the matter, it wasn't because they couldn't fight, they were worthy enough warriors within their realm but because they knew it could end lives completely. Their gifts allowed them to do damage to a person or their reputation, something that could and likely would be harder to fix than a broken bone or cut.

They remained quiet as Sol seem to do as he was asked and let Johann know what had been happening over the last four to six weeks he had been missing. It was clear to them that this wasn't exactly an easy thing to talk about given the situation and didn't envy him due to it. 'I trust she trained you well before this happened.' Shindara asked he knew the timing may have been bad but he needed to know. 'We are thankful you are also keeping a little away due to this, we would dislike to have to do something we'd all regret at current.' Amuul said noting that Sol was at least ten paces away from where the rest of them where standing. 'Also you wouldn't have been incomplete if you hadn't fought the transformation and asked questions.' they said together, they didn't believe ignorance could be used as a defence at any point, especially since he had five people that could had given him the answers in some form. The two blinked however hearing that he had taking their cousins last name 'That is surprising our cousins do not give that to anyone who they do not respect.' Shindara said in a thoughtful tone 'That being said, you need both to approve before being fully accepted into their family and the mantle that it brings.' Amuul continued knowing that Oykai wasn't one to give praise of such level easily.

It was then they had been given a piece of information that they hadn't managed to glimpse from their cousin because they had been otherwise engaged by her. 'S... she knew she was going to betray him?''No brother, she suspected that a time may come that she might have to and wanted a way to protect him I believe''Why didn't she ask us for help?''Perhaps she couldn't''We both know that isn't the way she works brother''But the variables changed as soon as teacher came back''That is true, she's still foolish''I can't argue with that brother, but we can go into this conversation when our summoner is well''Agreed' the two seemingly having a brief conversation with themselves they looked over hearing a cough "Will you two stop disrespecting Demiari please, it's impolite, as princes you should know better." Standing by the door was a young man standing around six foot two, blue hair, glasses, wearing a blue male kimono with a flower pattern, over his shoulders seemed to be a white mantle, from the blue obi around his waist their was a white tassel, in his arm there would be what seemed like and old tomb.

He started to walk forward but blinked 'Stay by the door cousin.' Shindara stated his voice holding a harsh authority, one which neither Johann nor Sol would have heard from him before "I understand and obey." The male said moving to float in the air what seemed to be a disk appearing underneath him as he placed the book down, opening it to which he started to reading "No change then?" he said calmly looking up to see the two shaking their heads making Oykai click his tongue a little "She really done a number on him, huh? Can't be helped I suppose." his eyes closing for a moment his voice seemingly pained, it wasn't something others normally seen from him but this wasn't a normal circumstances. 'You understand why the order was given?' Amuul asked him making Oykai "Of course I do, I am a threat to him and always will be but it doesn't mean I will break my contract." he said pushing his glasses up "To do that you would have both of us to deal with and that is something that can not be permitted under any circumstance..." he started to explain his voice calm "While my contract is in place I can keep it in a state of slumber which I am thankful for." he finished letting out some information without going into to much detail on the matter.

Oykai looked to Sol for a moment before he looked back into the book once more "It seems like you understand the situation a bit better then Sol." he said his voice a little indifferent as he turned the page. "As you have come to realise Cirven isn't playing with a full bag of marbles anymore..." he said tapping his cheek a little not looking up from the book "Then again I can't exactly say any of them are, my sister has a stronger mentality than they do due to her race and cast." he said calmly though his eyes saddened "But eventually she will fall to the madness they all share..." his hand clenching on the page he was reading, he knew his fate if that happened. He had never once tried to make a mental connection with the male closest to Ruvel but now he would try in the hopes he would be heard by him and the being that was now part of him 'I have a request of you both...' he began his eyes closing so he could block out the world, this was taking a lot out of him but he needed to be heard in such a way 'If I fall to the madness due to my sister, I beg of you to put us out of our misery because there will be no hope of us coming to our senses this cycle...' he explained his voice showing sadness and fear at the though of such a thing happen 'We would be a threat to him and not even my contract would be able to stop it... so please... even if not true death allow us to enter a new cycle were this would be nothing but a distant nightmare.' with that he lowered himself and his tomb onto the ground and bowed low onto the ground to him pleading with every fibre of his being that the elder male heard his request. He knew his cousins would have heard there was no way he could block it from them but he made sure that Sol couldn't hear.

After a long moment he sat up and started to float again "You really can't believe my sister decided to betray someone she knew for only six years over people she was raised, trained and went through hell with for fifteen years? It was obvious where her allegiance lay and I can not blame her for that, they are her family this cycle for better or worse." he explained looking to Sol a weak smile on his face of course he was hurt but at the same time she was stolen from his existence and he from hers so he understood that their bond though as twins was strong, their bond as family was not. "Family comes first to our kind and due to things outside of our power, they are her family this cycle so done what she believed right." he finished turning the page once more. "Don't worry Sol, my cousins are in no way a threat to Ruvel. Duty is everything to them and they have a contract with him so they would even place him before racial obligations and duties." he explained seeing Sol's stance change slightly as if he was ready to attack but knew that the deed would have been done before Sol could even move.

"If my cousin did wish to do harm to Ruvel then you would not have been able to stop him from where you are currently stood, choose your fights and know your opponents." he advised the other no malicious or ill will in his voice but it was clear he wasn't giving his full attention to the conversation, it was mostly placed on what he was currently reading. "Twins hold all the strengths, weaknesses, abilities and memories of the other." he looked up a little "We also share all experiences, joys and pains. This means everything that happened to Demiari while in those places I also have been through, they affected me as if I was there in person... this is why I have been ordered to stay by the door." he explained going into more detail so Sol and Johann would know just why twins were killed within their race. "We are classed as one being trapped in two bodies as you have seen with my cousins in a lesser form were they constantly finish each others sentences, now imagine that with fighting." he finished his explanation to them on the matter pushing up his glasses once more as he cast his eyes down to the book.

It was when the silver haired man spoke that Oykai's interest seemed to be peaked and so sat up "Oh so half family, interesting to know..." another book seemed to appear and he turned to make a note quietly, the twins looking at him knowing that he was adding to his data before the book vanished "You will need my acceptance before your cycle ends before you will be fully accepted Sol, I wish you luck." he smiled a little not in any bad way but more encouraging, the twins knew many people had tried to become full family to their cousins but no one had ever yet gotten both of them to agree to it. He continued to listen as Johann spoke to Sol about what would happen if he was to meet his sister again he said biting his bottom lip for a moment, he knew that this would be something that may happen some day and should prepare for the eventuality. "Johann, no one wishes Ruvel hurt he-"'Cousin, please be quiet, this doesn't concern you at current.' Shindara interrupted his cousin who lowered his head "I hear and obey." he said respectfully going back to his task mumbling something under his breath about his note taking in the past.

The twins looked at the silver haired man as he for the first time reached out with his own mind to them, they had agreed that their door would run both ways and again as with Johann they had let the male know which paths were safe to travel and just how far within their minds they felt comfortable to let him go. 'As you can see our cousin is researching at current on possible ways to help him and with all of us working together hopefully we can find a way to help him.' Shindara stated though he could see the inner turmoil of his cousin but tried to pay it no mind at the moment "I will be prepared for what may come even the truest of deaths if that is what appeases your anger Johann." he said looking up from his book his eyes making contact with Johann's no hesitation or fear seen in him, he moved his hand to the back of his neck "Demari's life force is there..." he said before moving it to his chest where his heart was in the centre of his chest "Mines is located here..." his voice was steady bit it was clear this wasn't easy for him "Damage the gems and it causes immobilising pain, break them you end our existence permanently." he continued so he knew the best way to take them out if it came to it, his eyes closing as he shook a little knowing he had just betrayed his twin and even gave up his own weakness knowing what it would mean if it ever got to that point. He would accept the punishment of a true death if it would help the silver haired man feel like justice had been served and what had happened to Ruvel had been avenged.

Shindara and Amuul nodded to what Johann said 'We understand Master of Runes and are thankful that you will show our cousin mercy if and when it came to it.' the two said together and bowed a little to him showing their thanks was sincere to the elder man. They stood watching what the elder male was doing, he was attempting to feed their young summoner after sitting next to him but nothing came from it, they could feel the sorrow and desire within him towards their summoner and the want to make him to get better, even to get him eat right now would be a small victory but it didn't happen. When Johann moved his hand towards back towards Ruvel's hand their hand twitched trying to hold his hand or that was how they had perceived it ,but it was clear to them that the body and mind weren't working together but he was still trying from the crying child they could hear from their summoners mind. Hearing their names being called they looked at Johann in the eyes once more 'Yes master of Runes? What do you need?' they asked in unison, they seen his eyes wide and suspected what was just about to be asked of them. The took a moment and looked at one another as they had done previously it was almost as if they themselves, though looked over to Oykai every now and then it was like were having a conversation on the matter, after a moment the pair looked and him.

'Please forgive us, we needed to discuss the request Master of Runes...' Shindara stated 'We know you mean him no harm and would rather take the blow to your own person' Amuul added "But we needed to decide if trying this was worth it in the long run as in his current fragile state it could hinder more than help." Oykai commented from the door 'It is indeed possible Master of Runes but... that being said our summoner would be the one taking the risk if it goes wrong' they finally said together "In other words we've decided that he would want you with him regardless of the potential harm to himself, but, please be careful with how you step." Oykai added near the end to sum up their entire conversation in one sentence. His eyes going to his cousins who nodded to his words their free hand clasped the other as their eyes closed as they granted Johann's request of them the runes on both Ruvel and Johann's hands beginning to glow as the twins knew that using this would give them a safer path as it would stabilise at least for the moment.

As Johann entered the mind the world around seemed void of colour, cracked and crumbling around him, it would appear that one wrong step would bring the unstable world around him down like a house of cards around him. It would be clear if that happened then Ruvel would be lost in his current state forever. There was a very dim light coming from underneath a door that was bound by runes, glyphs, covered in chains and covered in a barrier shield. It would be the only thing in this entire place that didn't seem damaged. What the point of the door or why it is so well protected or locked in such a manner wouldn't be obvious, certain of the defences could be removed by force but at the same time it is unknown what it would do to the world around him. Behind the door the soft crying of a child would be heard as the twins had mentioned before.

As the twins told him not to worry about them and that the would survive he nodded as he was also told that his concern should be about Ruvel and not on the. It was tough not to focus on them but he understood that it was their choice. When they told him he was rude again and that he needed to apologize to Johann for his rudeness the Reaper nodded as his eyes widened and he bowed to them again lightly.” I understand and Apologize, I will correct my mistake . I will also take any punishment for my mistake” he said to them before he turned to Johann before speaking again.”Johann I owe you an apology I had a conversation that you had no idea was going on due to it being telepathic and I should not have done that I am very sorry” he apologized being very sincere and bowed his head a bit though his guard remained up. When Shindara asked if she had trained him well the Reaper turned his gaze to them and nodded.”She did, she broke me utterly and then worked to make me better from the ground up. It was intense and agonizing but it was effective and I finished it and im at peace with myself” he said before he heard them mention that they were thankful that he was keeping his distance and they didn’t want to do something they might regret which the Vice President understood completely.

I completely understand and I do not blame either of you for being wary of me due to who trained me. I will remain this far away unless I am given permission to come any closer” he said his tone soft and understanding. Considering the person who had harmed their summoner had trained him intently he could understand the wariness and the potential threat they could see in him.hearing them also tell him that he would not have been incomplete if he had asked questions and not fought the transformation and he sighed. “That is true I was foolish and I should have asked and not fought it but I wont make that mistake again” he said before he blinked and nodded at their surprise that he was allowed to take her last name.”it did surprise me as well but she did tell me I managed to survive 6 weeks of hell that normally should have been spaced over around 400 years so that might have been why” he explained before nodded again at their information of him also needing Oykais approval to be fully accepted into their Family. As Johann then told him that what he did was his business and his alone along with saying his new name fully which didn’t phase the Reaper much but then also mentioned that if he was to come across Demi again he would not hesitate to strike her down and the Reaper simply nodded.”She has made her choice and I accept that she is my family but again this was her choice”he stated simply before he heard his former allie tell him in an ice cold tone that if something happened to Ruvel due to his new circumstances or the company he kept that he will wish that he had died before.

Sols eyes held no trace of fear even at the icy tone the Guildmaster used and he simple nodded”I will have to work with her regardless of the situation due to my duties but it should not effect Rui at all but also her name is Demiari so please call her by her name not Reaper Girl. Also I already died that day but at the same time I didn’t its rather confusing to explain” he said knowing that trying to explain it to Johann would just be a headache since the details were a bit tough. As his eyes gained a bored look at the anger in Johann being restrained bearly the Reaper sighed.”Johann please restrain your anger its nearly seeping out from the looks in your eyes. I know your angry but it does no good right now, take a breath and relax” he stated simply. Hearing a cough Sol blinked before he turned his eyes to the newcomer and he didn’t recognize him at first until he then heard one of the twins tell him to stay at the door and call him cousin which made the recently made reapers eyes widen with surprise before understanding set in and he bowed lightly to him.”Scholar it has been a while since I have last seen you” he said respectfully before he gently glanced from his spot to Johann and then back to Oykai. The tone that Amuul had used to address the elder reaper surprised Sol for a moment but considering who his twin was the harshness should have been expected. While he knew that his former ally was holding his temper Sols guard increased in case something broke out though he hoped it wouldn’t as he heard Oykai click his tounge and mention that Demi had really done a number on Ruvel and couldn’t be helped which made Sol Sigh and nod after a moment in understanding and agreement. It was hard to admit but it was the truth at the moment.

Even when Oykai mentioned that Johann understood the situation better then Sol did the Reaper didn’t get bothered by it since it was true he had taken longer to piece it together then Johann did but as Oykai mentioned that not only was Cirven not sane anymore most likely none of them were and what actually made Sol fearful for a moment was when Oykai said that Demi would eventually succumb to the madness as well which sent a jolt of fear thru the Reaper, he pushed thru it though since his training had taught him better then to let it take hold of him. When questioned if he really couldn’t believe that she would betray Ruvel over people she was raised and trained with for 15 years Sol sighed and as he saw Oykai give him a weak smile the younger Slayer gave him a small and sad one back.”You are right I cant blame her either its like you said Family comes first she did what she belived was right and I cant fault her for that” he said his tone sad but understanding. As he was told that he couldn’t have stopped either of the twins if he wanted to but that they were no threat to Ruvel Sol relaxed a bit though his guard remained up still he nodded.”I know but in that moment instinct made me want to move to defend him I will train to be faster and choose my battles more carefully” he said humbly knowing that Oykai was right.

As he Oykai tell him once again that he would need to get his acceptance to be fully accepted into the Family Sol nodded and gave a small smile.”Thank you I Will do my best” he said. Upon hearing where Demis gem was located and Oykais as well Sol made a mental note to remember if the worse case scenario happened and he was stuck in combat with either one. The Reaper didn’t entertain thoughts of actually winning but should he face such an odd he would know where to strike, as Johann then suggested that he could go into Ruvels head to try and help him Sol was hesitant since who knew how fragile the CEO was but after a few moments Oykai and the twins then agreed and Sol nodded as well even though he could do nothing and once it started he would gently sit down and would close his eyes as he started to meditate and reflect on some of the mistakes and rude things he had recently done and though he seemed calm the Reapers Senses were sharp and he was on edge for anything that could surprise him. He wondered also how much of a chance Johann had at helping Ruvel at all but then again if anyone did have a chance it seemed that Johann would be the best shot they had fixing this. All Sol could do was hope and put faith in the former Vice President and the connection he had with the CEO.

Post by Shen Kadokawa 29th April 2019, 8:24 am

When Sol addressed him on the topic of impoliteness Johann simply gave the Vice President a nod. He did not really mind nor care if there were things between the void princes and the other that would remain between them, and he wouldn't insist on knowing everything, so he would remain distanced and apathetic, listening to him explain the training he had gone through further. He could've been spared the details, in honesty. She would manage to break Sol, but if she and Johann clashed it would not be him who would draw the short straw. He would not break like Sol had. Time would tell how that continued. He went on even further though to explain that he would still have to see Demi on whatever reaper duties it was that the two would share, a circumstance that took Johann by surprise. Was Sol's loyalty to Demi greater than that for Ruvel? Did what the young summoner was suffering through not move him even a little bit? "As I said, Sol ...", he would repeat what he had said before, all the while wondering what intention the other held by reiterating his point, "... what you do with your time is your business. Just don't expect any sympathy from me. Oh, and ...", the man expanded on his point further, slightly surprised and more than a little angered Sol not only seemed to pride himself with the fact that he had taken her last name, no, he even seemed to defend her against Johann's arguably mild insult. "... I think that "Reaper Girl" is about the nicest thing I can come up with. I can think of other, less endearing words if you like? Unless you wish to provoke me, Vice President of the West Fiore Trading Company ...", his eyes once more centered on the pale Deathless, "... I consider this conversation over". Johann sincerely hoped that the other would learn to restrain his tongue when dealing with the already on edge Ambassador. He was close to the Berserkergang as it stood, what happened to Ruvel not exactly serving to soothe his state as the lacrima in his chest pumped a magical heartbeat after heartbeat.

It was then that Johann heard a familiar voice from the other end of the Mess Hall, looking up to spot Oykai there, seemingly appearing out of nowhere before addressing his cousins and Sol. Johann only half-listened to the back and forth, his mind concerned with other things. Sol seemed to respect the summon, a position Johann could not share. While he did not hate Oykai, he disliked the other for his bratish attitude and his rather crude ways, at least as he had witnessed it in the past. It was then that the man' voice rang out inside the head of this vessel, bringing forth a direct request not only to himself but also the Seal, Mars, the Lord of War, dwelling within the depths of his mind. Oykai practically asked for them to, should he succumb to the same madness as Cirven and, eventually, Demi, put him out of his misery, so to speak, should it come to that, stressing that it would be better to start a new cycle than live this one out in madness. Johann understood, giving him a nod. "I see ...", he would send back the same way the other had spoken to him, "... I will do my best to find an adequate solution when the time comes". Mars, now directly addressed, similarly had his own comment to share. "I do not care for your conflicts, but I will not shy away from a good fight, and if you ask me to end it when I finally get my hands on her ...", he would grin broadly, "... well, who am I do deny such a charming request, tssehehe ...".

It was then that Oykai's attention seemed to return to Sol, Johann once again paying little mind to the talk that was none of his concern. Still, it was a circumstance the silver-haired male still had a hard time believing. Ruvel had always been close to Demiari, as far as Johann could remember and ever since he joined the West Fiore Trading Company. It was a situation that was as intriguing as it was sad and confusing. Further, Oykai explained the dynamic between himself and the other reaper as twins, and then even went on to share a detail that could be crucial, sharing the location of his own and Demi's life force, saying that he would be prepared for anything that may come. Johann shook his head. "You bear no fault in this, Reaper, and as such, I do not wish to harm you or even end your existence permanently. You are not to blame, and I have made it my mission to preserve those that are innocent. I acknowledge that the need might have to arise, but it is a possibility I will reserve for only the harshest of situations, should it come to it."

It was then that the void beings answered his question whether his own and the young summoner's mind could be connected after debating the subject among themselves, following up with the prospect that it was indeed possible, though warning him to take great care. Johann simply gave a nod. He would understand and heed Oykai's words of warning, closing his eyes as the world around him went black. He opened them again to see a space filled with nothing, only crumbling and cracking darkness all around him, staying unmoving as he simply looked for a few seconds. That was when he spotted the glimpse of light in the distance, coming from a seemingly heavily fortified door. At first, it appeared strange, but the man knew that for Ruvel's sake, he had to keep himself together, staying composed. With determined gaze, he took a step forward towards this door, seeing how it would affect the unstable space around him before pushing on, his want, his need to save Ruvel overshadowing anything else. With few determined steps, he would reach the shielded portal, standing before it and looking up. The runes, chains, and glyphs that bound it in place seemed like a heavy hurdle to push past, but he had to try. For the boy's sake. Gently, he would raise up his left hand and place it on the defense placed on the door, careful as to not upset the natural balance this place seemed to follow, convinced any sort of overaggressive action would not be a good call, not for this fragile space. He hoped Ruvel could sense he was close, sense that the silver-haired man was trying to help, but that was the only thing he could do. Hope. The man opened his mouth, an almost saddened voice ringing out. "Ruvel? If you can hear me ...", his eyes began to tear up a little, "... it's me, Johann. Your brother is here to save you".

    Familiar Paths

Oykai looked up from his book covering his mouth to yawn as he watched the conversation between Sol and Johann, it had very little to do with him in all honesty but he was finding it more than a little difficult to concentrate on what he was doing. "Sol, if she broke you, you would be gone so please stop being overly dramatic on the subject." he said calmly he had come to understand that his sister had made the young Deathless go through a little harsh training, from what he could gather she had tried to make a replacement for if this situation had come to pass. At the end of the day he couldn't change it but it did bother him, it was almost as if he didn't trust him, their cousins, Bennu, Maera or even Johann to do that job. Seven people who would be at his side within seconds if the time called for it, if anything it caused him offence that his twin would trust someone who had rejected what he was for several months and had only really become one of them less two weeks ago with his safety. It was something he would have to talk to her about when they next seen each other, then again he was pretty sure that there would be more than a few choice words coming from his mouth before the two ended up fighting over the last action she took.

The twins looked to Sol for a moment but remained quiet for now "You aren't really a threat Sol, as if you were indeed seen as one there would be no way in undeath you wouldn't be allowed so close." He said with a tired tone, he was starting to wonder when he last slept but then it could be because as soon as he was finished reading one thing he moved to the next. He had even refused to do his duties as a reaper due to this, he didn't care what anyone said about it at the end of the day, he was of the rank that he could decide if and when he would do such things in any case. "I'd actually like to correct something on that Sol, if you had actually paid attention to your teachers then you would already know this, but since you still seem to be as sharp as a stick of lip balm let me clarify." he explained after coughing a little, he disliked when wrong information was given "Reapers work on their own so you saying you must work with Demari isn't a statement you should be making." his tone calm as he once again looked down to his text book "The best thing to say is that you are the same cast and so your paths may cross on occasion." he finished pushing his glasses up once more as he made his point as clear as he possibly could.

Oykai pulled his glasses down just a little looking over their rims as Sol explained that she had accepted Demi as family "Be careful when you say that Sol, once we choose family there are certain things we can and can't do." he informed the other without going into to much detail, some things shouldn't be discussed outside their cast after all. "Like Ruvel is family to myself, my cousins and at one point Demi though that seems to have changed a few days ago..." his hands clenched to the point his nails were cutting into his skin, he hadn't been the one who had been hurt and yet he felt betrayed beyond belief. Taking a deep breath his hands began relaxing as he shook his head he knew that this wasn't the time or place for such things "I'll go over that later, for now just know who you decide to call family comes with a bunch of issues and such." he said pushing his glasses up once more and continued to read "I would ask that you do not mention Demiari around him however or you and I will have more than words Sol." he warned his tone seemed like he wasn't paying full attention to the other at current so it was unknown if he meant his words "Also..." he sat straight and looked to Sol "Though I am a scholar I am a researcher not an academic. There is overlap in the types of scholar if you must call me by my cast over my name please call me researcher not scholar." he warned the other his tone showing he had taken mild offence at what he had been called previously.

He closed his eyes for a moment as he thought on his next words as he knew he had to choose them wisely. "I love my twin despite what she has done she is my family and nothing will change that..." she said now his eyes opened the softness that he had gone and now held a darkened aura around them "but she is a traitor I will take down for what she has done, I won't hesitate to do it and I suggest you steel yourself that you will have to do the same the next time you see her outside the void." his energy struggling to remain balanced "Because if you do hesitate or do not see her as an enemy then you will become mine and I will have no issue with ending your life... permanently as to me you would have chosen your side." he knew eventually he would fall to the madness that his sister held even if he fought against it for the both of them and would try and take out as many threats as he possibly could before that eventuality happened. He wanted Ruvel to be safe, he might have been seen as a brat, as being arrogant or worse but that didn't matter to him as he had his own reasons for how he acted. His loyalty and how he cared for the youth was one thing he knew that should never be called into question as he honestly cared for him beyond just the contract they had with each other.

He turned the page of his tome not looking up "You're on guard with the wrong person Sol, Johann will do nothing to harm Ruvel and you don't need to be a telepathic to know that." he said calmly, to him it was in the body language and how the other had managed to keep his rage in check as he knew the youth needed him right now as a big brother than an avenging warrior of wrath. That could come at a later point when the right time came as much as he knew what may wait for him in his future he could respect the silver haired male for what he was doing right now and knew that Sol should be as well, more so as he knew Johann better than he himself did. What he did know about the former West Fiore Trading Company vice president was that his young summoner trusted him with everything about himself, that the two seen each other as blood family. There was no 'adopted' when it came to their relationship it was as if they had been born within the same family. He was glad to see his summoner had someone like that, even when it came to Cirven he knew they always seen each other as adopted brothers and it meant a bond would never truly be made but that was just his thought on the matter.

Oykai seen the fear that went through Sol's eyes when he said what was going on and that his twin would eventually succumb to the sirens call of madness "I am fighting to keep us how we are..." he closed his eyes for a moment "I gave up my compassion to strengthen the bindings on the doors that keep that madness locked away from the world, that is why when I am a reaper I am smaller and am more of a brat when giving information." he explained to the others it wasn't like he enjoyed being perceived in such a way but at the end of the day he didn't want to get to close to people because he knew he would far out last them. As much as he tried to distance himself from his young summoner he had found it impossible and so seeing him like this especially with how much of a hard life he had already had. Each time he was killed it was Oykai himself that was to reap but due to what Demi had done the soul was never released so he had to continually watch the youths suffering unable to truly put an end to it. "But she has done something after she seen them as family that makes my job harder, its more than a little frustrating." he said with a sigh as he looked to the side it was clear there was something on his mind that he wasn't sharing information on.

Oykai looked to Sol as he once again spoke and shook his head "You seem to not understand, so let me explain." he said turning a page looking down a sad expression on his face "Even if you had been faster than you currently are there would still have been no way for you to prevent their attack physically and magically it may have been lower too." he let the other know "The reason for this is for one you are farther away from the perceived target than they are, then there is also the fact if they were aiming to hurt him they could immobilise you via fear or memories and still get the task done." he said looking down to his book "You don't know their abilities or strengths so please like I said learn about your enemy before choosing your battles." he said with a quiet tone yet again not sounding like he was giving the conversation his full attention. "Perhaps after a few life cycles you would be able to learn multiple skills that will help you advance as a person and the path that you take..." he said before tapping his cheek "If you live that long of course, sometimes new reapers don't last a full cycle and if that is the case they don't get a new one." he explained calmly as if he was remembering a piece of information that had slipped his mind.

He knew that Sol himself would have taken notes of where there weak points were but they were far older than him and so even if they hadn't been twins it still wasn't stacked in his favour, the fact he was a twin make the chance of him succeeding even harder, if not near impossible. He knew the best bet would be Johann as he would do what was needed without hesitation if it meant protecting the youth that now sat silently broken. He went quiet once more as he went back to reading his tome giving it his full attention once more as he tried to find a way to reverse the damage done from a reaper weapon, this wasn't something he was sure that could be done but if it could be it would be most likely some obscure piece of information. He had no issue researching such things but there was also the thought that there could be a time limit on how long it could be healed before that it no longer could be, he hadn't slept in days and was tired however he kept going forward not wanting to give up until he knew one way or the other.

He had listened as the former keeper of balance and now ambassador of Dies Irae spoke to the standing keeper of vice. He had remained quiet through the whole situation as it was more like something that what was happening in the distance. It was when the subject of when the subject of calling his twin 'reaper girl' came up that he looked up for a brief second "There are a few choice words I could use for her such as traitor, betrayer, anoi-" he stopped mid-sentence as he felt his cousins eyes upon him "My apologies." he said not wanting to gain punishment by getting his cousins irritated at him right now. "Needless to say my sister isn't deserving of politeness due to the actions she has decided to take even if in her mind they were warranted." he commented his tone showing that he did care for his twin but at the same time he did feel betrayed by her regardless of the reason or motives behind her actions. He was actually curious about why his cousins had yet to say anything on the matter, the only reason he could think of was due to them preparing the connection for Johann so that the already frail mind of the young blonde haired boy that was sat so still he was starting to wonder if he was alive at current.

Not a single one of the remaining summons had bothered to connect to Ruvel's mind for fear of doing harm, they didn't know what laid in wait inside and so didn't want to risk it. He was quite sure the only reason his cousins knew the things they did was because of the 'gifts' they possessed, it was because of these so called gifts that they could tread in places even angels would fear to quite comfortably. His eyes darted up as he heard a response come to him from not only Johann but from the second seal, the lord of war himself. 'I thank you both for granting my request...' he started before smiling a little to himself as his eyes closed 'I promise you lord of war the fight will be a beautiful one, worthy of someone of your role.' he said hoping it would entice the seal a bit more not to hold back when the eventuality happened. It wasn't that he wanted to die but at the same time he wouldn't shy from it, he didn't want an existence were he lost himself to a madness he should never have had in the first place but again the inherent madness his twin had wasn't exactly her fault she was taken from her crib as a newborn and then what happened over the years happened. They had done their best to protect themselves from the beast within but those protections would come to an end soon and what will come would come.

Oykai sat up straight as he was once again addressed "I know when I am doing my duties as a death god I am not how I am now and there are reasons for that but..." he took a quiet yet deep breath "I ask that you do not call me reaper, it is a blessing and a curse and not many of the cast like being called by the cast title. Please call me Oykai or if you must use a cast title to refer to me researcher." he ask his voice calm and in no way demanding or hostile when talking to the other, he knew that he held no power over the man that he was making the request of so it would be up to him wither or not that he would oblige the request and by what means. After the request was made he then addressed the rest of what was said by the silver haired male "I appreciate that more than you can understand, I assure you, I am also thankful that you are here in the hopes to help stabilise him in whatever way possible." he looked out the window for a moment and sighed sadly

"None of us have dared connect with him we're afraid that we will harm him. Bennu and Maera are going out of their minds with worry as you can imagine, Bennu is very young and sees him as family and fae well as much as they love their tricks they are a very caring people if they class you as friends." he let the other know as he turned his eyes back to him "None of us like seeing him like this, the conversation has come up about ending my life already but we all realise that this wouldn't make anything better it may actually make things worse." he looked down ashamed, he didn't know how to fix any of this as much as he wanted to, he was tired and still pushing but nothing was coming from his efforts as of yet. It was then he looked to his cousins who seemed to have closed their eyes as if they were concentrating on the task at hand, the blue haired deathless understood that it was all now up to the elder silver haired male. Right now all he could hope was that his warning about treading lightly was heeded or this might turn out for the worst and he may end up having to reap the youngest within the room to prevent anything else bad happening to him. He of course knew if this was the case he would have to deal with several angry people but he would only be doing his job and would take their ire should it come to that.

Within Ruvel's mind the footsteps of the elder man would echo in the area around him, each step making the area around him cause more cracks certain memories seeming to crumble but part of the elder male would feel that the younger male was trying his best to keep things together but was failing "I... I can't do it..." a young voice said "Don't make me... I don't want to hurt people..." came the voice again the elder male would recognise the voice as Ruvel's one from when he was younger and the other from when his training started with Cirven and his summons 'Please... I can't do all this... there's to much... I.. I just...' the last time the voice heard was more of an inner thought of the young summoner in crisis, it would sound as if he was in tears, it would seem like he was under a pressure he just couldn't handle, in truth he wanted it all to stop one way or another. As Johann placed his left hand on the door he would feel cold and aggressive, it would be something that he would have never felt from Ruvel before and wouldn't expect it especially now, the energy flaring off the door trying to ward him back.

The soft sobbing would continue from the other side of the door, the light dimming further underneath the door. The reason for this would be unknown to the elder male however. "I'm scared big brother... I'm scared" a small voice would be heard saying "Please... he's hurt... he needs help." he said amongst his sniffling, to Johann's knowledge there wasn't anything within Ruvel from when they had taken a trip to the ruined kingdom at the far northen reaches of the Silent Glaciers, the entire truth about the youth had came to light for the elder male. The summons themselves had never mentioned another entity within the youth but then they had no reason to nor did they have the right to do so. The safety measures around the door soon started to weaken one by one and the door slowly creaked open, when the elder male opened the door what he would be greeted by was a talk male with silver and gold markings over his body, long white hair, red eyes, dressed in what appears to be leather, his hands claw liked. The male was sat on the ground badly hurt holding the crying youth in his arms protectively. His eyes turning to Johann even hurt as badly as he is there is an aggression in his eyes that showed that he would continue fighting if it was needed to protect the child in his arms.

Post by Sol 3rd May 2019, 8:09 pm

As he heard Oykai explain that if Demi had truly wanted to break him that he would have been completely gone and to stop being overly dramatic on the subject the young reaper nodded.”My apologies Oykai” he said, he wasn’t trying to be dramatic but in truth Demi had done a lot to him but Sol did get the feeling it could have been much worse. When told he was not a threat and if he was then he would not have been allowed close.”I was not sure but I wanted to be respectful” he explained as he didn’t want to be intrusive and keep his distance unless Ruvel or the Twins were ok with him being closer, it was then that Oykai was setting him straight and told him that he would be working on his own that that reapers worked alone and the only reason he would encounter Demi would be because they were the same cast. Sol blinked and nodded since that was actually what he meant but he had worded it wrong.” I am sorry I didn’t mean to word it like that but that is what I meant” he said softly. He had messed up his words and most likely had given Johann the wrong impression.

Once he was told he had to be careful about who he calls family Sol blinked before he nodded at Oykai telling him that he would explain it later, the Reaper nodded and understood since it was hard to explain this since there were others around that could overhear and that could be problematic. He was then told not to mention Demi again and again the young reaper nodded.”My apologies I wont mention the subject again” he said knowing that if he was told not to mention it then it was better to listen since not only was he younger then Oykai but he was also a higher rank then him in the Cast they shared. At the menton of confusion and over lap of the type of scholar Sol nodded in understanding and made sure that if he called him something other then Oykai he would call him researcher.”She is an Enemy I know that and nothing changes that, it doesn’t matter that she was my teacher or the one that made me into a reaper. I will not hesitate and I will not falter” he told the elder reaper and even though he had a dark aura around him Sols eyes held conviction and determination. Even if he had to face Demi one on one he would not let his fear stop him he would fight will all his might even if it ended his existence. He was told that he was on guard for the wrong person and that Johann was no threat and Sol took a moment before he sighed and nodded. Even if he was angry it seemed that Johann was truly more focused on Ruvel then his rage which was impressive. Sol was still a bit sour that Johann had only left a letter when he had left the guild and it had made Ruvel break down. Sol honestly felt that Johann should have actually told Ruvel face to face but now it was in the past so nothing could be done.

Upon hearing why the Researcher was such a Jerk when he was in reaper form made Sol nod in understanding but the moment he heard that Demi did something that made it harder Sol could only wonder just what went thru her head. He could tell from the look on Oykais face he knew something but the younger Reaper would not pry and would respect the Void Dwellers privacy. He was then given an explanation as to why he could not have stopped the attack even if he was faster, as the elder reaper explained in great detail why he would not be able to stop them and that he needed to learn about his enemy before choosing his battles the young Reaper bowed his head humbly and in understanding.” I understand Oykai thank you for helping me understand better” he said calmly. While he knew that the elder Reaper could be a jerk he was also very wise and any wisdom Sol was given he was grateful for.

As his former ally and vice president spoke to him Sol didn’t even flinch at the words thrown at him but blinked in slight suprise.”Im a bit surprised at the hostility I thought we were friends and allies Johann?” he asked noting that he was told he would get no sympathy. Though as he was told that reaper girl was the only nice term he could think of at the moment and unless he wanted to provoke him then the conversation was over. Sol however seemed to pick up on an underlying issue and voiced it.” Johann I request that if you have an issue with me you come right out and say it” he said politely if not bluntly. It may have been seen as pushing but Sol didn’t want things to be held in or held back and if the guild master had an issue with him then he wanted to hear it. The Reapers eyes were focused on him and not an ounce of fear was in them due his training allowing him to push fear aside so he could focus. As Oykai mentioned many words that could be used Sol simply nodded but stayed silent since he didn’t want to speak and offend. Like Oykai he had a few words he would like to call her but he didn’t linger on it right now since it did no good to.

While he meditated Sol thought back to the training he had done and just how harsh it had been.but it had been for his benefit and he was at peace with what he was deep down he had come to terms that he was a monster but he didn’t have to lock it away only control it and use it as a tool just like anything else.he couldn’t separate his light and his darkness he had to accept both of them or he wouldn’t find balance. While the Reaper was and looked at peace it was still a dangerous move for someone to approach him due to his instiancts and guard being up even in such a state. He had Oykai and the twins to thank for that since them touching his crystal constantly had given him extreme paranoia about the spot and even when he slept he never let down his guard concerning it.

"I do not have an issue with you, Sol Detholusin, ..." Johann began to speak in response to the Deathless' wild accusations, though of course, that wasn't entirely true. "... though I take tremendous issue with the Reaper you seem to hold oh-so-dear. I do not care about any of your involvement with her or her involvement with you, but when the day comes, I will destroy her, I will destroy Cirven for what they have done to Ruvel, and no force in existence will be able to stop me from doing so. If I can rely on your continued non-interference ...", his tone would die down a bit, and his voice grow calm, "... then I have no issue with you". He hoped that that would be clear enough for the Vice President. "Though ...", he couldn't help but correct the other "... I would like to make clear that we stopped being friends when you nearly murdered my mentee in cold blood and displayed a lack of self-control that to this day remains unparalleled. Or did you forget about that? Because I certainly did not. My allegiance lies with him ...". Johann took a deep breath, glancing over to the young CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company. "..., but that is a discussion for another time when circumstances are more favorable and Ruvel is not around, don't you think?". With that, he truly considered this discussion, this debate, confrontation, whatever the pale Deathless would call it, over, and would not continue it or entertain the idea of engaging in it any further. There were more, much more important matters at hand right now, matters that could well possibly decide the future of Tolgalen, the West Fiore Trading Company, and Ruvel himself, as the other seemed to ignore so gracefully. Still, he would go on to quietly acknowledge what Oykai was saying as well. It seemed like the group had reached a sufficient conclusion concerning Demi's status and the precautions that would be taken, as well as the steps that would be put into mention for when one of them would actually find her. It would be perilous, undoubtedly, but it would be a fight that Mars could barely contain his anticipation for, and Johann had to hold back his desire for overwhelming retribution in regards to. He guessed now that this matter had been settled, all he could do was wait and see what the future would hold for him, the Reaper and the young summoner.

Within Ruvel's mind, Johann watched as even the most careful of steps seemed to alter the state of the fragile environment around himself, cracks appearing as much as he himself and Ruvel tried to stabilize it. "Ruvel ...?" he would ask quietly when the young CEO's voice began to echo around him, his head turning to try and locate its origin, but he was unsuccessful. It would simply echo from everywhere, and the voice was too fractured, to erratic to pinpoint. Still, despite the disembodied voice being sourceless, the silver-haired God of Ishgar could still sense, still interpret the tone in his voice, pain, and sadness lacing it, and it sounded like Ruvel was speaking in tears.

When he touched the door, the gentle warmth of the glowing rune on his hand would be overshadowed by the sudden influx of a harsh, cold sensation that almost seemed like it sought to repel his hand away from the sealing covering this door, Johann taking a step back. If this wasn't the way to open it he would have to resort to using force, but that wasn't his best option, of course. The world around him, Ruvel's mind, was already broken and damaged as it was. If he used any power to break this open, there would be no telling what effect it would have on the young West Fiore Trading Company CEO's mind. The voice would continue, but luckily, Johann didn't seem like he had to use any force, the bindings, and seals placed upon this unknown and mysterious gateway undoing themselves one by one. Whether it was a reaction to his touch or if the young CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company was behind the sudden turn of events he did not and could not know, though the fact remained that this circumstance proved to be a relief for the silver-haired Ambassador of Dies Irae. Without delay he would move through as soon as the doorway opened, only to find before him a sight he couldn't explain to himself. Ruvel was held by what appeared like a man with long, silver hair, red eyes swerving over to the man who had entered the young summoner's mind in an aggressive way, though it also seemed to be almost ... protective? Johann couldn't quite explain it to himself. His brows narrowed. "I don't know who you are ... or what you do here ...", he gave the other a nod and raised his hands to show that he had no intention of attacking or hurting anyone "... but I have come to save Ruvel and bring him back to where he was before. I have come to save him". His voice was calm and held no other intention, but also showed a streak of fierce determination. All he wanted was, perhaps, an explanation, and of course, the young summoner, his friend, his brother.

    Familiar Paths

The reaper shrugged to the apology, the things didn't mean much to him words were just that after all, words. Of course they held significance in the right context but he had found apologies were often hollow and the person would just make the same mistake over and over again, he really wanted no part of it. He did however wish that the younger generation would think more before opening their mouths and giving wrong information, of course there where things that he himself still got wrong but not over something so basic as what just happened just then. Raising his hand he just waved it dismissively as he turned a page not looking up from the book. "Right now mistakes can't be tolerated and I would like your sass to stop or I will kick you from one side to the void to another and believe me there are some terrifying things in there, worse than her." he warned the other his tone though calm also held a warning for the other not to push his luck, right now wasn't the time or place for what he was attempting to do. "One more word from you when it comes to trying to push Ruvel's brother's buttons and you will be leaving and I don't care if it is through the window or door. Now be a good little boy and put a muzzle on it, before I do." it was clear he wasn't playing around right now, to him that was the end of it, if he wanted to continue it he could do it elsewhere.

The elder reaper could only sigh at sol's words and shook his head it seemed to him that he held his twin in to high a regard, it was true the title 'teacher' was a respected one within their culture and it was what his cousins once called Cirven, still it was worrying that he would still talk about his sister with such a fondness knowing what was most likely to come. He remained quiet however on the subject it really wasn't something he wanted to discuss at any point, but, he knew this was one that likely had to happen at some point. "At least she taught you some common sense." he eventually said, then again the blue haired reaper also knew that his sister had turned him on a whim and often regretted doing so. The twins were concentrating to make sure that the paths they helped Johann move into their summoners mind remained stable and for now couldn't interact as if something went wrong they would need to bring Johann out before the mind collapsed. Oykai sighed looked up and rubbed his temples feeling the younger reapers thoughts "It isn't that impressive that he has his rage in control, his little brother is in extreme danger of having his already fragile mind breaking completely." he said standing and walking forward holding up a soul "I'll teach you like I taught Yona shall I..." he said still keeping a distance away

"This is a healthy, well balanced person." he explained but soon the colours changed to dull, the soul seemed to crack and was slowly releasing something "This is an unhealthy soul..." he explained before the soul orb turned almost black with a small flickering of light within, the cracks more apparent and wider parts clearly missing as a mist fell onto the floor "This is what my summoner's soul looks like right now... he is fighting to remain... he is scared... Johann knows this on some level and is concentrating on his little brother over the retribution he wishes to enact on her as any loving brother would." he explained watching as the soul soon fell apart and fell to the floor turning to dust along the way "What you just seen is my young summoners fate if he can not be helped." he said glistening purple tears falling from his eyes streaking down his cheeks as he clenched his hands, he didn't like it, he down right hated it, he always kept everyone at arms reach because he knew one day he would have to reap them but with the blonde haired youth it had seemed an impossible task even for him who had given up his compassion to strengthen personal wards.

He removed back to his original place after the demonstration "There are reasons that a letter was left, I would believe that he wouldn't be able to bare the one he sees as his little brother break down..." he sat down once more "He is also hurting over what had to happen, it is just idiotic to think that he isn't. The amount of guilt he must be feeling must be an unimaginable burden to him as a person, friend and most importantly brother." he said starting to read once more, it was about time that Sol was put in his place as he was acting like a child who had no understanding of how things worked. "I have lived several life cycles, I dislike the living and even I know they often have to do things that they don't want to, to protect the ones they love... the things that they hold dear..." he sighed pushing his glasses up "You were once breathing like him, I would have thought you would have understood this better than I who had never lived such a way." he said his voice calm as always, it would do no good to get angry after all.

The next set of words that came out of the young reapers mouth made Oykai sit up and pay attention, this was going to be untold entertainment for the older reaper as Sol had just asked for a can of worms to be opened. Oykai doubted that Sol would like to where it was going to go but he had asked for it and so would likely get his request answered. The only words going though his head were 'You're reeeeeeaally gonna regret that Ran.' he thought to himself wishing he had something to eat to watch the verbal onslaught that was about to come. Just like he had expected the silver haired male had made his point clear in quite an eloquent fashion, he wanted to stand and applaud but remained how he was and just turned a page going back to reading as there was nothing more that could be done right now as he was taken into Ruvel's ever fragile mind.

The injured silver haired man glared back at the one standing "I've been here longer than you have..." he said his cold tone echoing around the perfectly formed room, there seemed to be no issue here unlike outside it, there were however chains see holding him to the wall almost cutting into his skin though they didn't seem to bother him. He turned to the crying boy in his arms "For now sleep, you are safe as am I... so now child sleep in dreamless rest." whispered into the youth's ear who seemingly went limp in his arms "Some things shouldn't be discussed in front of children." he said holding Ruvel just as close as before "I have been here for little under six years I believe, bound in this room..." he explained "You met me once before, the cursed lands when you went through your own 'makeover' for lack of a better word." he said not wanting to go to much into himself, That was wasn't the issue here after all "How did you open my door?" he asked his voice was still holding aggression the other was an intruder to him and for all he knew was ready to finish what Demi had started.

His eyes however were drawn to the pale blue silver rune on Johann's hand, the aggression instantly leaving his eyes as he recognised it to be the same golden crimson one on the youth's left hand "I see, the fail safe." he said calmly moving to stand slowly the wounds on Ruvel's body pairing up with his own, his gave of blackish purple mist. It was clear he was in pain but was biting it back "I've yet to be named because he doesn't know I am here. I was created by the pain, anguish and sorrow of a little boy who just wanted to go home to his parents but was tortured and abused beyond what anyone should be." he continued speaking pulling against the bindings that continued to bite into him "I usually stay in slumber unless he is in severe distress or pain, at that point I can break my bindings but I leave a negative imprint on him and he'll turn into everything he never wants to be. He will want to see the world burn and it will last for two or so weeks, during that time... who knows what will happen." he held the youth out for the other to take.

"I can be led out but I don't have that knowledge, the only one who did was the one who done this damage to us." he continued his eyes closing "The ones known as Shindara and Amuul may know but I am unsure... or perhaps her own twin, from what I understand they also share knowledge." he said allowing the other to take the sleeping youth "He must not know about me for the stability of his own being, I am the warrior he can not and does not want to be." he said taking his hands away once Ruvel was taken from him "I took the hits from her scythe he wouldn't have survived and even now his mind holds on by a fragile thread, it will take time but he will strengthen once more I'm sure" he finished before moving back to his spot closing his eyes his hand moving to create a rune that formed a magic circle that turned to a portal "He will be somewhat aware when you walk through there, but he needs time to recover and during that time needs to be protected, now please go." these were the last thing he would say before going into a slumber the door instantly closing, the protections that were seen on the outside now seen on the inside.

Once Johann had taken the portal the twins started to move once more, the both moved to sit down fatigue shown in their eyes. They looked to Johann and Ruvel with concern to see if they had managed to get out, they knew right now they couldn't contact Ruvel as thanks to Johann they seen just how bad Ruvel's mind truly was meaning right now they were mute to him without going through a third party and he couldn't summon them at all. "B.. Brother..." a small voice whispered as the glowing tears fell once more, his hand softly trying to hold the elder males "I.. I tr.. t.. tried... I.. I..." he couldn't manage much more as he became to emotional, the fabric around his eyes becoming so saturated his tears stared streaming down his cheeks

Post by Sol 9th May 2019, 1:15 am

Sol knew he had make a mistake as Oykai cut into him again tell him him that if he kept sassing he would get kicked from one end of the void to another and things in there were far more terrifying then Demi. He was also told by Oykai that if he said another word in regards to trying to push Johanns buttons and he would be forcibily exiting this room so he was to keep a muzzle on his mouth for now. That made the young reaper shut his mouth and bow his head in understanding. At the mention of Demi teaching him some common sense Sol also nodded again, he had knew that even if she accepted him she was an enemy now and he could not and would not hesitate  if it came down to a fight, even if it cost him his existence he would fight till his last breath.  The reaper was also prepared to do the same against Cirven as well since it seemed that his former guildmaster had lost his mind, Sol idly wondered what set all this in motion but he didn’t know  where to even begin to ask and if it was even a good idea.

As Oykai explained that it wasn’t that impressive that Johann held his temper Sol simply nodded before the elder reaper explained how a soul worked showing it when it was perfect and balanced to what happened when it was unhealthy. Sols eyes were focused on it but also held a grim look in them since when  he saw the soul then  fall apart and Oykais spoke of it being Ruvels fate  the younger reaper felt tears well up before they went down his face as well. the purple tinted tears went down the young reapers face at the thought of his friends soul collapsing from what had happened. As much as he knew Ruvel would never trust him and would most likely never see him as a friend the young Reaper still saw the CEO as a friend and close comrade that he would defend with his life. It was also then that Oykai ripped into him and told him that there were clear reasons why only a letter was left and that  Johann was suffering just as much. The elder reaper also rubbed salt into the wound by also telling him that he would have thought Sol could see it from the elder males perspective due to once being like him.

Sol could only sigh and he put his hand on his face as he knew that Oykai was right and that he was being foolish about his view point on this, he knew that it would have been a tough choice but it would have had to been done. Sol knew he was in the wrong and he bowed his head to show he was humble and he had been wrong.this was a subject that as touchy and the last thing Sol wanted was to step on a land mine right now. As Johann explained that he had no issue with him Sol had to restrain himself from calling the elder man on that since it was clear something was not right and everyone could tell but he held his tounge and decided if this needed to continue it would be at another time and only between the two. As the Guildmaster also told him that  there was no issue as long as he didn’t interfere between him and the two he was against then they would be fine. When he mentioned though that he seemed to hold Demi dear the reaper kept his face neutral but he was becoming irritated at the constant jab. He was respectful of Demi since she was his teacher but that respect only went so far espically now considering what had happened to Ruvel. To be fair the respect he had for her had already gone down immensely but  he still held a bit of it for now. Sol knew she was an enemy and nothing changed his mind on that since it was clear she had chosen her side and he had chosen his. He would protect Ruvel and he would keep his promise.

When Johann said that they were no longer friends since he had shown a lack of control and had nearly killed Yona  Sol remained impassive but his eyes turned Icy since he had lost control but at the same time it had been Yonas own fault for taking his Kiseru which was a limiter on his darker emotions at the time.he had given her plenty of warning but the girl had not listened and it had nearly costed her. He didn’t deny he was at fault but at the same time so was she and  he had put it past him since it did no good to dwell on it  but he couldn’t fault the former Vice president for taking it a bit personally.”Your right this is not the time or the place for this. Right now Rui is more important “ he said before his eyes went normal again.”Lets deal with this later perhaps at the training grounds” he suggested since  he got the feeling the next time they spoke it might not be peaceful and could get bloody  depending on how tempers reacted. But if the reaper was honest he wanted the air cleared between him and the former vice president since he held a great amount of respect for him and  wanted  them to get along but it was clear issues were present and even if Johann did not want to admit it Sol knew they had to be dealt with sooner or later. Part of him wanted to invite Johann to his province for a peaceful talk but at the same time he did not want to risk  the people of his province if things got heated. It was a tough situation and Sol knew it was not going to be easy to resolve.
