History/Story
History: Indra was born in the country of Midi-- the land of the south-east. Unlike most that were raised to be among the samurai-- Indra was born to a clan of 'Shinobi', meant to work in the shadows out of sight of the public or the emperor. Due to this they were often targeted and scattered. One such branch knew to raise Indra would be dangerous so, at a young age, he was taken somewhere safe. Indra was found abandoned at the doorstep of a monastery. The Kamigawa monastery-- a sect of mages who used both magic and hand-to-hand martial arts to enlighten and train others to use their magic to be one with nature.
Unaware of his heritage, Indra was viewed to be incredibly skilled both at martial arts, and also his adaption to wield magic was also strong too. As he grew, his skill and strength, so did his ferocity and temper in battle. Overly proud and strong, he easily bested his peers even injuring them out of impulse. He soon earned the name "Raijin" the ogre god of lightning for his destructive tendencies.
Concerned by this, he was forced to step down and take on more mediocre training-- meditation to temper himself, but he hated it. Interested to learn other forms of training and technique, he would break the rules and sneak to learn more.
It was then he found it-- legends of a dragon close to the mountains. A dragon with dominion over thunder and lightning. The map was contained to the monastery.
He soon chose to rebel against the Monastery, who had tried to hold back his progress. He beat his instructor and took the scroll-- becoming rogue among them. Having walked the dark path, he sought out the beast in hope to learn true power and the freedom that came with it.
