Personality: No matter how stable Marshall may look calm on the surface; just below a storm is taking its toll mentally. His mind full of regret and torment from a rough past (will mostly be told in his history at a later date). He fights his demons at times of solitude causing his fear of himself and being alone. He has just recently gotten over suicidal tendencies, yet the thought lingers. He is not one quick to anger, though if you do it is bad. He is quite the fighter not only on a physical state but moreover on a mental state. More than often he will use his sharp silver tongue over his obsidian blade. He is one to be strongly against any form of prejudice, in his mind it is the cause of corruption and destruction.
As for his lighter side, his humor is a bit morbid; his smile brighter than the sun, his embrace is that of love and care, he is gentle but rough. Yet when you seem to understand him you are far from it. He is far deeper than is first perceived. Above he looks like another hipster but his is deeply philosophical and theological. At times when he doesn't get deep intentionally it is more of a way to keep people from knowing his problems or give them the key to the reality of a situation.
More than often his addictions win him over. The biggest problem is if he doesn't get his coffee in the mornings and his average of five cigarettes daily. Then he has a slight marijuana addiction. Without the coffee and cigarettes he gets pissy and ever so slightly irritable. The lack of marijuana just makes him well nothing really. He doesn't drink often, though when he does it is a mess. He has a high tolerance so it takes more than a fifth to get him drunk.
For all of his moral and ethical ways he has made mistakes. He is just another person not much different than anyone else. That’s where his regret comes to play. Though his main problem is that he’s over sensitive. He is the kind of person who wears his hear on his sleeve. He is also some what a hopeless romantic.
Now as for his music taste it is a bit out there I guess. He like bands like Of Mice & Men, A Day To Remember, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil, etc. Most times he has big Skull Candy ear bud on with an old first generation IPod filled with music that he listens to in times of deep thought and times when he isn't in a mood to talk with anyone. Other times in deep thought of his “isolation” he will often draw.
For a more touchy topics that deal with his personality. Those include religion and his sexuality. Religion is more of, to him, a way to make the weak scared and in need of feeling like they are less than what they are worth. It is a way to oppress the ignorant. His sexuality has been the cause of a lot of his pain in his life. Mainly due to people whose life goal is to make everyone else’s life a living hell. Those people are the cause of a lot of his issues and his fears.
When fighting he tries to be calm and collected, not trying to seriously harm someone if it is in defense. Though if fighting due to provoked he fights to draw blood. Normally he wont use his gun if it isn't needed. Most times He would rather have a team or a partner to fight with so he need not use his magic. He can follow well and rather not be leader because he doesn't want to know he lead someone into getting hurt.
Likes:Cats because they are cute and soft and easy to be around. Drug because they open up the deep parts of the mind. Music it opens the soul and calms a savage beast. Friends they are people that pick you up when your down and help you to the end. The winter a time that all that is old passes and makes way for the new.
Dislikes: prejudice for its wrong and corrupts the world. The rich they look down on the poor for there lack of wealth. hardcore Christians due there judgmental ways.
Motivations: A chance to save the world. Friends. And Hope
Fears: Autophobia- fear of being alone or of ones self. Gerascophobia- Fear of growing old. Social Phobia- Fear of being evaluated negatively in social situations. Gelotophobia- Fear of being laughed at.
