Nathaniel Stratford, commonly called "Nat" or "Nathan" used to be a resident of Magnolia during his younger years. Looking up to the heroes of Fairy Tail such as Mari Windsor, Ebony Matsuna, Daichi, Neko, Lance, Heero Reyold, and Leonard Dragonbane. He had bore witness to their wondrous heroic deeds that inspired him as a child to become a defender of the people himself, dreaming of the day he'd become a mage one day to protect the innocent. Kindhearted, generous, honorable, brave, and having a bit of a sweet tooth, Nat had been helping others, and standing up fro them ever since he was little, he had also been a fan of Leonard Dragonbane's famous cheesecakes that he had begun making cheesecake recipes of his own, finding happiness whenever other people liked his cheesecakes, and whenever he could help others and defended them from bad people.

He was ten years old when Savage Skull launched their first invasion of Magnolia. Seeing his heroes fight the good fight inspired him only to become a mage for the light even more, studying light magic to help others, especially to heal as he had been among the few who made refuge at Fairy Tail's old hall along with the wounded at the aftermath of the battle.

However, everything went downhill during another invasion of Magnolia, the heroes he looked up to suddenly going missing or killed, and the Fairy Tail guild loosing its legal status over one female mage who they refuse to turn over to the authorities, but what broke Nat's heart the most was that Leonard was not there to prevent all this from happening. The very man who inspired in Nat the virtues of redemption, defense, and honor was not there to uphold the same things. Nat slowly concluded that a few of Fairy Tail's values were wrong, especially giving evil mages a second chance. For this gave them only the chance to attack again and grow stronger for their next attack. So he left Magnolia bringing with him only the principles of his heroes that will make him stronger. Such as Daichi, Sukiro, and Heero's ferocity as Dragon Slayers and Leonard's intensity towards training and swordsmanship. This twisted the healing light he possessed into something that is also wrathful and merciless in retribution. Having been slightly content with his training, Nat now seeks a guild that can further his training and would eradicate evil wherever it may be.

In Battle, Nat jumps into the front lines fearless and without question. As he believes that one must take an active role in erasing evil from Earthland so no more cities need to be invaded by them. Putting offense a priority, on par with helping his teammates with heals and buffs, making him an excellent teammate who is willing to work with others.

Outside of battle, Nat is always more than happy to help others in their small needs at times of peace. Happily perfecting his cheesecake baking and greeting others with a small. Unless the person is who evil, then they will be met with a flash of light and searing pain.

Likes:

• Training - He has a lot more ways to go so he needs to train more to completely rid the world of evil
  
• Cheesecakes - One of the few things he kept liking from Fairy Tail is their excellent cheesecakes that inspired him to make his own.
