Personality: Ishtar is cold in his mannerisms and in combat. He feels compassion, but as an outside observer alone; personal attachment is not a luxury he feels he can afford. He is business-like and professional, some would even say callous when he interacts with people. In battle, however, the indignant rage of centuries spent locked in a spell in the far north is released, and the fire of berserker wrath is lit inside him. He retains his mind and cleverness while in this state, but compassion flees at its advent and while the rage burns. When interacting with animals, however, or when he is alone, Ishtar is solely at peace and exists in sincere calm. He appreciates nature for its resonant ancient wisdom and the harmony that persists in its quietude. Any reminder of his tortured enchanted seclusion is likely to also invoke his rage, be it verbal, physical, or emotional. Ishtar struggles against this anger and puts forth his best effort to never allow its release except in battle, which he accepts as necessary in order to maintain emotional equilibrium in all other aspects of his life.
