Alma couldn't help but laugh at his friend as he seemed to get in a tiss when explaining for the umpteenth time that the fur wasn't his fault but something that had happend on another job, the magenta haired teen knew all to well but couldn't help but tease the oversized orange bunny that was not only his guildmate and friend but his teammate as well.
"Well you're the one that drank it, now weren't you." he said leaning forward with a grin on his face
"So yes, it is your fault. That being said I said I'd help you get back into your normal form and I mean it." he said standing up once more, he may not have been reliable on many things but when he gave his word to a friend he tended to keep it no matter how long it took.
"Oh that's easy, you eat vegtables and are going to sleep in the hutch I'm having built for you while we're here." he said letting out his little secret, he used the word 'hutch' just to get a reaction to him but it was actually a guest house in his backyard where the other could stay if he was in Crocus again.
"You sleep like all rabbits do, it's so cute. Wanna see?" he asked bringing out his lacrima once again with a huge grin on his face. The last question got him to look up and tilt his head
"That's just silly, you're only a rabbit on the outside. You still like humanoids, though, I have to wonder if your hair is brown then why did you turn into an orange rabbit." he asked as if he was in deep thought about it, in honesty it made no sense to him what so ever.
He listened to his friends words when it came to his shoes and could understand what the other had said, if his feet were dirty there would be no way he'd be allowed in the hotel nevermind the room until they were clean. Pity that he himself didn't seem to understand this so thought he might want to be informed
"Tyson, I wouldn't need to worry about you dragging in dirt because the owners wouldn't let you back into the building if you were gonna drag dirt inside. This culture can't stand such things, so yeah I guess the shoes are a good thing but you put them on and take them off at the door silly for the same reason." he said looking at the shoes hoping that it would be ignored by the host and hostess this time due to ignorance but now Tyson knew even Alma would be on his case about it when they returned if the other forgot. He smiled walking down the corridor to the exit slipping on his boots as he left, he chuckled hearing the others words
"You know just how to flatter me don't you Tyson." he knew that the other didn't mean his words, he was happy to have finally found a friend. It was when the other commented about him filming him when he slept he quirked an eyebrow
"Never said I was filming you, just said that you looked cute while you slept." he said in a matter of a fact way as he walked down the road towards their destination.

Alma was just about to turn around and walk back towards the hotel when he heard a familiar voice call out to him, a voice that he wished he never heard again but here he was.
"Do I look like a girl Sol san." he said with a bow
"It would be kun or san given my own families standing I guess." he said calmly standing once more before crossing his arms
"It however has been a while, how have you been keeping?" he asked with a respectful tone that was little out of the norm for him, he had no idea why he was acting in such a strange manner but here he was doing it none the less. He was caught off guard when he was told that this was an area of the continent that he himself looked after, he knew the trading company that he worked for owned a continent and that it was split up into sections under the ever watchful eyes of people deemed worthy enough by the executives of the company, or at least that is how he thought it worked he could have been wrong. He wasn't a member of the company so couldn't say how it worked one way or another, he just never thought that he would run into the black haired male here of all places.
He then tilted his head looking Sol slowly up and down moving around him as if trying to figure out the thing that had changed about him, only to stop in front of him poking his nose
"You need to get more sun, an albino rat has more pigmentation than you." he said finally realising that the male was white as snow, it was true this was their second meeting since this change but given that they had met when it was late several months ago he never really took notice of it, more so as Sol had went as far as to embarrass him by making him wear a dress when his own clothing had gotten wet and damaged. He still had no idea what his issue was when it came to such a thing, it was like he had some weird fetish or something at least when it came to him and he wanted absolutely no part in what ever weird and sick game the elder male wanted to do.
"As for enjoying the visit, not so much thanks to all these stupid barriers that seemingly want you to drown yourself to get past them. I'm really not in the mood" he said bowing once more turning as if to take his leave from the area.
He couldn't help but groan hearing the elder male talk about taking his friends feet as some sort of trophy.
"Idiot, my teammate is still using his feet." he said with a sigh
"Besides, wanting to take anyone's or things feet is just creepy." he couldn't help but shudder at the thought of what kind of sicko would do that to another being that use to be alive at one point or another, even as a joke it made him sick.
"You really come off as some sick weirdo Sol san." he said shaking his head as if he was disappointed in the other
"I am an aquaintance at best and you've never met my companion yet you've already made a distateful joke he may not appreciate, just a tip but perhaps you should worry more about your own ettiquette than worrying about my dress code." he said his voice stern as he spoke, he really wasn't in the best of moods and it showed. He knew the saying when in Rome, but he didn't believe that his clothing sense should have to change just because he decided to visit another land, he wasn't a citizin there and so shouldn't have to dress a certain way. Then again even if he did live there it still didn't make it right for his choice in clothing to be restricted, this day was just going from bad to worse and it hadn't even started in all honesty.
He rolled his eyes after a moment before turning to look at Sol
"I am not a resident of this continent let alone this province, thus my clothing options shouldn't be decided for me... if the people of this province have a problem with outsiders because they want to be recluse then build a wall and put the 'laws of the land' on it so people know what the hell they are getting into. I am refusing to change because people are to stuck in their archaic ways to accept that time has moved on." he really wasn't holding any punches on the matter, he could understand if he intended to stay there but he was only visiting. So far everyone they had come across since stepping foot into the province though they may have looked at him weirdly, never gave him any inclination that he may have been causing offense to them, not like it would have mattered all that much mind you as he only had his normal clothing that he wore at home. His eyes went around the area finally as he noticed that the place was fairly crowded even at this early hour, seemed like this festival was the talk of the area, not like that was a bad thing as it brought commerce he guessed but still the need to do stupid tasks to get through the barrier still bothered him.
"I don't feel like drowning myself today and he doesn't want his fur wet." he said uncrossing his arms to poke the barrier a little, he turned his eyes to look at his companion when he spoke
"You were given a pamflet for this thing?" he asked wondering if there was something more sinister at work all of a sudden given that there was a shoddily made sign and a flyer that gave all the information it would seem bar that stupid trials were needed to get further, it just didn't add up to him.
Alma shook his head at the others words
"There should be no need for us to do such stupid tasks to enjoy a festival, it makes no sense." he complained again, sure he was acting a bit of a brat but he was always told and experienced festivals as fun where you could do what you wanted as you wanted, this was anything but. Alma had already went ahead and started looking over the seal to see if there was any loopholes or ways around the apple bobbing
"Way ahead of you and the answer is we either bob for apples or destroy spirits... neither seem quite to my taste in honesty but I'd take the former over the latter." he said moving to the barrel that had the apples removing his glasses and leaned in to grab an apple with his teeth though it took a few tries. Standing he dusted off his trousers and coughed using his sleeve to dry up his face
"Your turn Tyson unless you want to fight." he said just placing the apple in a dustbin near by as he didn't actually want to eat it.
"We came here to enjoy a festival so we should do our best to do it right? And Tyson I hate to inform you, where we are staying in what is classed as a hotel, everything is done by the nice couple that run it." he informed the other knowing that it wasn't uncommon in a more traditional area like the one they had found themselves in. He found himself wondering why his friend would have chosen to go to a festival in a place that he knew little of the culture, it seemed counter productive in his opinion but then he himself worked the same way he guessed so he couldn't judge.
He watched and listened to what his guildmate said and groaned
"Don't call him that, he'll get use to it and first name with honourific san if anything." he said trying to educate his friend the best he could, he knew that Sol was the lord of the place but all Alma seen was another person of equal standing even if he had home field advantage at this point.
"He drank something he shouldn't have and boom instant orange bunny." Alma added on letting the black haired male know what happened without getting into to much information incase Sol himself knew how to reverse his companions current unfortunate situation. During this time he had taken note of what Tyson was up to and looked over when instructed "Well Tyson, that's because he's the godslayer of venom." he explained to the other with a light chuckle
"When I first met him, he was a dragonslayer of poison but seems something has overwritten his magic since then and made it stronger I'd guess. I don't have much information on slayers." he admitted to the other with a light shrug
"And he wouldn't dare poison me, I know the people he's scared of." he said with a grin looking back to Sol
"Thing is if I showed you a picture of one of them you'd never believe it true." were he himself had never seen it in action he knew that Ruvel Mizune the young CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company could use words as a weapon that was hard to rival, that and apparently he never lost his temper to boot.
"And remember Tyson just because you know my first name doesn't mean you know my last. I use psuedo names at the best of times because I just want to be normal." he said honest before pointing to the water and apple filled barrel beside them
"Now go bob for an apple Tyson or you will need to fight something." he told the other getting back on track suddenly.
