Personality:
Haruyuki has been educated in the ways of the warrior and the social etiquettes of Midi. Haruyuki’s elders where of low stature within his clan and eventually adopted by friends of his parents. His new parents didn’t have any child themselves and needed an heir, their social status was just a bit higher than those of his biological parents. Haru took an interest in strategy after his he had an accident leaving his left leg limping. It had damaged his self confidence at first, a warrior who was lame but eventually managed to get his full devotion to the arts of war. Haru started travelling around Midi and eventually behind it’s borders to seek the knowledge to aid him in his quest to become the master of strategy.
Haruyuki mostly prefers solitude to go over his books and theories but to learn from other means social interaction. He prefers to socialise with the wise, monks, officers and those that have something to help him out. Haru does try to get contacts everywhere, he doesn’t kill the bandits that try to rob him but spares their lives, so he may use them later for his own gains. He knows the value of spies from the art of war. Haru is a devoted to the god Bishamonten, god of war. There are times when Haru carries a sashimono (an identifying device) with a centipede on it. The centipede is seen as a messenger of Bishamonten and Haruyuki views himself as such, a messenger of the war-god.  
Haruyuki is more of an introvert but he can be quite outgoing among trusted friends, though he only has few since he mostly travels and doesn’t stick around long. Haru is looking for a place to stay, a place where he can use his learned skills and develop further in practice rather than theory. This search has been going on for a while now and he is hoping to find a place soon.
Haruyuki prefers to fight in a supportive role due his limping leg but he can actively fight in close quarter combat when the need arises. His preferred weapon of choice is the bow and the with the gun and in close quarter combat he prefers the sword. He use’s his tricks from his books in his fighting and focusses mostly on defeating the enemy without fighting or at least without killing but if he has too… Then he will kill without merci.
Haruyuki can fight well under command as from command. He knows that a strategist is not the necessary the commander in chief and there for will accept commands of his superiors. He does however have the need to say his opinions and sometimes doesn’t execute the commands he deems in no way useful for victory. He does like to lead and will try to figure out all the skills and flaws from his subordinates to use in his advantage. He tries to stay out of the fray himself to supervise the battle.
