Re: Only a Matter of Time
It was on year to the day that Ruvel had accepted an invitation to a party that was held by a mysterious host, it was later found that this was just a trap to get strong mages together under the guise of some innocent halloween fun. The truth however was far more sinister that the collecting of candy was the way that the so called regent of darkness was using to snuff out the light of the realm in the hopes to take it over. Working together the mages figured out the plan just in time and took out the threat together, that was the end of it they believed and over the months it was just spoken about as some sort of urban legend and so was pushed to the back of many people's minds. The youth however never forgot his time inside that mansion, it reminded him far to much of his 'home' with the fake freedoms but unable to leave when he wished. Such fears were hard for him as he never wanted to return back to the facility that had raised and tortured him for as long as he could remember, he could barely remember the day of the attack that landed him there and knew one day he would do so completely; when that happened he knew he would believe he was born there and fought to keep the memory as painful as it was.
For the last week or so he had been getting far more tired than was normal even for him, his dual coloured eyes glowing brightly showing there was something wrong with him. That his illness was flaring out of control, he had no idea why that was given he was doing far less but there was nothing to do. What confused him was that as much as he hated his medicine he was taking it a few times a day but it was doing very little to help him. This worried him to no end as it meant there was something coming, something not natural and it was going to affect him far greater than any blood moon ever could. Over the last week he slowly noticed that the sun had lost its glow giving no light and the moon that gave guidance to those on sea, land and air in both the land of living and dead wasn't giving out light. In fact it was an inky black and seemed to not take the light but swallow it, this was more than a little unnerving to him as it didn't just affect Tolgalen but the whole of Earthland. The guild didn't exactly see eye to eye with the magic council but then they would need to work together to take out a bigger threat.
It had taken a few days but he had made his way back to where the halloween party had been the year before after he had taken place, unlike his normal white and blue uniform he wore a black suit with read silk stitching were his normal blue was. Before leaving he had left a message for one of the few people that truly knew him for what he was letting him know where he was going and that he would like him to meet him there while giving him the sparce details he himself knew, he just hoped it wasn't the same person as the year before but then he also worried about the reports in regards to people changing personalities. He knew the chances of him changing would be unlikely thanks to how fleeting negative emotions were, but he was a summoner and his summons he knew didn't have the same protections. The last thing he would need was someone like Barthenz not attacking or even worse attacking them, then there was the worry how this was also going to affect his companion or even other guild members; the entire situation was a headache he just didn't want to deal with but couldn't avoid and that's before just how sick he was.

Re: Only a Matter of Time
Before he had left the West Fiore Trading Company main island, Rasparov had been just as into his plotting and diabolical schemes as he ever had been. The artificial being had been coming up with ways to research the ultimate beings that he had been tossed aside to finish making. The butler outfitted creature had been head deep into books and papers when he had been told that a message had been left for him by the co-guild master that knew him more personally than the others that were in the guild and company. Ruvel had left him the message to let him know where he was going, that he should join him, and why he should join him for this. It was cute, though there were others that would be trusted to help him as well, but he guessed he would have to go along and help even if he had other plans already that needed to be done.
After grabbing his weapons, and dragging his pet Chimera out of the cage in the basement it had taken a liking to, the man had left the guild territory that was his current home and would make his way to the location that the summoner had told him to meet at. The being was not sure when his personality had changed, or how as he had not paid attention to the current events with how wrapped up in his research he had been, but he had gone from the heavy plotter and planner and turned into someone that wanted to get right to the fight in a headlong charge instead. Once he got to the designated spot he would already have a look of anger upon his face and a strange tone to his skin that seemed more demonic than it was human. "Good, you're here. Why don't we just get to the problem and eliminate them all. Heard they weren't too strong, so this will be disappointing." Each word seemed filled with rage and anger, as if every waking moment he was here was a chore. He just wanted to fight, run forward and fight, not stand and talk with someone that had a murder pact with him.
