Aura had been looking through her story book that day. However, it wasn't just to try and look at different types of stories, but to try to discover a few things. Ever since she had that conversation with her mother those many months ago, there had been multiple different locks attached to her story book. There were about 3 that she had seen, which was really odd for her. Looking at them now, she saw how different all the locks were. One, had 4 different slots with some sort of shape for them, another had just a regular key hole(she tried all her keys, but no luck), and then, there was even a lock with 4 empty squares, as though it was some sort of crossword. There were 2 others not listed here, but for now, she was just fiddling with those 2 wondering what the heck was exactly up with them. There was no way that these locks were just some sort of coincidence, especially since this book has shown that there are no coincidences, not in fairy tails, and not in real life. As she picked up the one with 4 emblems, she looked at it, trying to see what the shapes of them were, but they were so odd. There was no reason as to why they looked so weird to here. She just sat there and looked at them, hoping that maybe by some miracle, a hint would pop up right in front of her. As she looked in closer and closer...something happened. Bump! It was the feeling of the train she was on, bumping up and down on the tracks.
Earlier that morning, she had decided that maybe it was time for her to finally take a job back up again after that small hiatus she took. However, she decided not to do a job with anyone else, just because of the fact that she wanted to warm back into things. She also felt like it was more efficient for her to be able to actually do a job on herself, instead of having someone bother her/having her bother someone else. For now, it would just be nice for her to sit on this train alone, looking outside the window. Trying to stop herself from focusing completely on the new mysterious locks on her book. It was hard, but she began to put herself into a daze, as she saw the trees in her view flash in a blink of an eye. Each one barely even having a second to register in Aura's brain. Looking at out that window, she saw the reflection of herself in it. Looking at it now, she could see how much better she was than before all of the insanity that happened that day. She hadn't really thought about it till now, but learning about her parent's murder had really affected her. More than most people could possibly know. She had finally found closure after all those years of coming to the terms that they were dead due to an accident. Then all of a sudden, she learns this, and she can't seem to shake it. Aura knew her mother told her to stop worrying, but Aura couldn't help it. There was something about it all, that she knew her mother wasn't telling, which is why she came back to gaze right at the book once again.
However, she tried one more time to be able to actually get rid of the terrible feeling in her heart. After a few chants, she had summoned someone that she knew would cheer her up...Aries. Aries was Aura's mother's summon, and now her mother passed her on to Aura. It was weird, she had never met someone quite like Aries before. She was so optimistic for a fighter, that you'd expect her to just be another type of support summon. However, that wasn't the case. She had experienced her wrath before, and it was insane. Aura wasn't even sure if that was the fullest of her extents, because to be fair, Aura was pretty weak without any summons or anything. However, none of that really mattered right now, because right now, all she needed was to talk to Aries. She needed some sort of distraction. With that, she looked over to the girl with silky black hair, and said to her, "Hiya!" With a confused look on her face, Aries replied back, "Hi?" With that, Aura and Aries began the conversation, and just decided to go all out.
"So, here's the thing, I sort of just brought you out here to be a distraction for me. You know about my mother, so I really do hope you understand." "Yea...I miss her too." "It's not that, its just some of the things that she left a mystery to me. I just really wish she could've told me everything. I do miss her though, don't get me wrong, I loved her with all my heart. But now, it feels like I've spent so much life focusing on her and my father, that I just need some sort of distraction." With that, Aries nodded at Aura, realizing what she was saying. So, she decided to just jump to a different topic. "So, where are we going?"
Aura, had decided this morning that a job would be the best idea for her to do, especially since she had just gotten back to the guild. She really wanted to prove herself to them, which meant that she needed to do a good bit of jobs to actually get back in the groove with ST. So, as she looked on the board that very morning, she saw a peculiar looking job on the board. It seemed to be a man, he was asking for his stolen tome to be retrieved from a temple near the town she was going to, Shirotsume. It had asked of her to actually kill these people, but Aura had a plan. She would take back the tomes, but she didn't have to kill the people there. If she was able to knock out the higher ups, in the temple, she felt as though they'd be able to respect her enough to take a dumb little book. So, she just thought about that, while she said all of this to Aries. With that, Aries replied back to her with an excited look and said to her, "Yay! I can't wait. I haven't been on a job in a long while, and I can't believe its going to be with you. The daughter of Lauren Sparks!" With that, she clapped her hands and closed her eyes, as she cheered happily, drawing tons of attention from many others on the bus around her. However, Aura didn't really care in all honesty. After all, she once was pretty much that crazy lady, back in wherever she had traveled before. Being an orphan that just roamed around on the streets, she felt so out of place, like she wasn't good enough to have a good home, a family, or anything. So, whenever she thought about herself, she always just thought that she was just some sort of insane and crazy lady.
With that, she looked back at Aries and smiled, loving how happy she was. Aura wondered how long it had actually been since she felt this happy. It had been really long, after constant pining over the murder of her family, but she couldn't think of that for right now. What she really needed to do was just stop herself and focus on getting to the actual area. And just like that, she felt the train screech to a stop. She looked up from her seat that she was finally in the place she was meant to be...Shirotsume. As she looked over to Aries, she said to her, "Hey Aries, this is it. We have arrived. Now, all we gotta do is just find the temple, and do the job as planned. Got it?" With that, Aries smiled and said to Aura, "Got it!"
