The door of the Fairy Tail guild opened, and through it stumbled a very tired looking Nessa. With the likeness to an undead being, she slumped through the guild, her usual energy and perkiness currently no where to be seen. Her eyes held heavy bags, and her skin was a shade paler than usual. All a result of the massive magical change that had occurred within her, just six days ago.
See there were two reasons Nessa was so tired, one because earlier that week, she had been gifted the magic of summoning Valkyries. Unlike her Starlight Maiden magic, which she had grown up developing over time, this magic had infiltrated her body in a single hit. And the sudden invasion of magical power figuring itself out and trying to settle within her body had left her severely weakened. Also, there was the fact when she entered the world of Valhalla, meaning she had actually lost three days of Earth time, and upon her return had an almost jetlag sensation to cope with on top.
Secondly, last night she had actually felt well enough to head out, deciding to pick up something from her local sweet shop. She had got the creepiest feeling that someone was watching her in the store. But when she had looked around the shop, the only person she could find was her and cashier. It couldn't have been the cashier either because she been chatting away on her lacrima phone to some boyfriend. Yet, she had definitely felt it. The feeling didn't leave either, she felt it practically all the way home. Although, when she told Sebastian, he started talking about ghosts, freaking her out and as a result ridding her of her ability to sleep.
That damn cat... She thought, as she made her way over to a table, sliding groggily into a seat. She rested her elbows on the table, and buried her face in her hands. She had tried to catch some more sleep this morning but her house was running amok with busy-bodies. Her Nephew was feeling particularly rambunctious and wanted to play. Additionally her Aunt had her Women's institute over for brunch, loud cackles and far to many questions for Nessa to have been able to cope with. So she had left. The guild was the one place she figured she might find some peace.
