Description:
A classic, double edged Rapier with an overall length of 37 inches (3 feet and an inch), its stainless steel blade being a maximum of 29 1/2 inches (2 feet and 5 1/2 inches). The handle is hand wrapped with a swirl of black leather, leaving at least half a centimeter space between each interval of leather, letting the metal peek through. Its hilt is made of titanium, crafted into an elegance over the handle. The scabbard is plain black in color, finished with a titanium trim.
As an effect from Wing's pacifistic nature, she rarely uses it. Otherwise, she'd use it with the scabbard still on. The blade is rarely unsheathed unless Wing is somehow forced to, or if it was a necessity. Pleione was previously owned by Wing's mother, and was later given by her father before his death.
Strengths:
- Due to its length, it heightens the overall range of the user.
- Lightweight and easy to grip
- Although the blade's edges aren't sharpened, its tip can deal sound cuts and punctures.
Weaknesses:
- Having no special attributes, Pleione is an ordinary thrusting weapon.
- It cracks and breaks against strong pressure (In this case, two consecutive
D-rank spells, and anything higher), either fracturing the blade, or having it completely broken into two pieces.
- The length increases the maximum distance reached, but it doesn't suit close combat battles with its length and dull edges.
