WHO BELIEVES IN TOOTH FAIRIES? ; job ; Ezio

Ezio woke up in the morning, a bit later than he usually did. He must of spent too much time at the bar last night, which could of caused him to sleep in rather late like he did this morning. Yawning as he got up, still rather drowsy, he made his way out of his bed and into the bathroom, where he would start up his shower. Thankfully he still had about 30 minutes before he had to meet up with Val for their job. While they were the best of friends, it was true that the two did not often work together, but recently it seemed Ezio was hoping it would change. He was planning to meet Val in their normal meeting spot under a tree near the boardwalk and discuss their plans for whatever job she picked out for the two of them. Honestly, Ezio was not at all the working type, but even he recognized that sometimes you had to earn some money in order to be able to survive in this world. After all, like it or not, money was what made the world go very much around, and it was about time Ezio started to get some change in his pockets.

Ezio finished his shower and began to dry himself off, before putting on his usual clothing of a simple shirt and a pair of shorts, his signature wear for the hot summers. In addition, Ezio also put on his white hat that he had been seen wearing a lot recently. Looking in the mirror, Ezio smiled and nodded to himself, reaffirming to himself that his fashion sense was passable at the very least. Though, it was certainly never anything compared to Val's fashion sense. Her's was odd to say the very least, but it seemed to work nonetheless. Though, he was quite concerned about the many males who seemed to stare her way often, but then again, he supposed even he couldn't help but look every once in a while, even if he wasn't interested in Val in a romantic way currently. He supposed that perhaps when he was younger he had a few feelings there, but at this age he found himself mainly just seeing her as a friend, outside of a few occasions that popped up every now and again. Sighing, he noticed he was thinking too much, and just decided to head outside to meet his friend and see what the work they were going to be doing today was all about.

The day was a bit cooler than usual, with a summer breeze coming in at a considerable force, causing the branches on the trees to shake a little bit, and even t-shirts to dance along with the wind. Ezio would lean against the usual tree they met at, letting the wind take his hair to dance and honestly quite enjoy it while he would stand here and wait patiently. He was a little early to the meet-up, after all.

Ezio saw Val coming towards him, as he would give a smile. Always was nice to see his best friend, after all. The girl seemed to have found them a job, and as such Ezio would stand forward and take the paper in his hands, inspecting it to see what they would have to do in order to complete, and hopefully find out what the best and possibly easiest route of completion would be for the two of them.


"Hmm, alright. This is a little strange, but I suppose in a world of magic, everything is. Alrighty, i think I have a plan." he said, leaning back against the tree. "So, this guy is stealing teeth as if he was the tooth fairy, right? What I propose we do is find a family who has a young girl who had lost her tooth today, and just camp outside her window until the culprit eventually shows himself. That seems like a simple enough plan, right?" he asked, as he would put his hand on his chin to think a little bit about just where they would find a girl such as that. "Well, lemme think.. I know that I have a cousin who's around that age. I'll check in with my aunt. Let's head over now, shall we?" he asked, leading the way to his aunt's house, which conveniently wasn't that far away.

After a quick talk with his aunt, Ezio and Val were given permission to sit outside her daughter's window. Ezio's aunt seemed to agree that this pervert had to be stopped, and as such the aunt decided to pull out an already very-loose tooth of her daughter's for tonight. Later that night, Ezio and Val would sit there, waiting for the moment in which the tooth thief would come and drop by.

Ezio looked over to Val. It was dark out, and the tooth fairy would most likely show up in less than 10 minutes. Still though, Ezio wouldn't mind conversation with this lonely mood. "My cousins cute, eh? You ever thought about having kids, Val?" he asked. Weird question indeed..
