    Job:

It had been a while since she had taken part in a stealth type mission and in truth, they were not jobs that truly suited her skills but the price was right and the job sounded easy enough. All she had to do was sneak in to a house and steal a recipe card, that was it. She was a little disappointed that there would be no combat involved but that was just the way it was. A man known as William Dorvald was her client, a man that she had quickly come to dislike. He was an obnoxious little ferret and she had almost cracked him one for his attitude towards her. She had managed to contain herself though and had instead thought about what she would spend the jewels on, a number of options having run through her mind. First things first though, the job, the thievery.

His rival's house was certainly nice and Sarisha only wished that she had the time to raid the entire place instead of just recovering the recipe. It was a cottage although judging from the state of the place, it was no ordinary one as every shrub, every blade of grass, every lick of paint was perfect. It almost looked like it could of been in a fairy tale of some kind and she amused herself for a moment, thinking of herself as the wicked witch of the story. She had been called a great many things in her time and a witch seemed pretty mild to her and that was not even to go in to what Valara had been called. The Goddess had been around for who knew how long and was hardly a Saint by any means and just reliving some of her memories was enough to almost make her blush, almost but not quite.

Approaching the cottage, Sarisha made sure the coast was clear, before heading around the back of the place. It was locked up tight but the mage had a counter for that. She summoned her powers and then evaporated, vanishing from view and becoming no more than molecules of water. Using this, she was able to find the tiniest crack in the walls of the building and slip inside. Once she had broken in, she then reformed herself again, safely inside the building. Of all of the skills that she possessed, the Deity had to admit that her evaporation technique was a favourite of hers. Always useful and one that she could use at a moments notice. Sure, it was not her most damaging but it had its advantages. Today, it was just what she wanted and Sarisha swiftly began her search for the recipe, pondering about where it could be stored.

At first, she had little luck and the first three rooms that she searched revealed nothing but a collection of pictures of the chef's various award winning food products. He was obviously a smug git like Dorvald but she was hardly surprised. He also had a wide array of trophies that were littered across the cottage and she assumed that was where her employer's jealousy must have come from. She had only seen a single trophy on his desk when he had given her the job. It always amused her when the emotion of jealousy came up. At least three quarters of her jobs seemed to involve if it in some way and she was certainly thankful for that, it was making her rich. When she reached the back room, she swiftly noticed a safe in the corner and her eyes lit up. This had to be it. Approaching the safe, she placed her ear to it and began fiddling around with the lock until she heard a click, resulting in the safe opening. Funnily enough, there was only one item inside it. A laminated recipe card, her goal.

With a smile, she quickly grabbed hold of it and then made her way out of the cottage, once again using her Evaporation ability in order to escape the place. The return back to Dorvald proved uneventful and he was delighted with her work when she handed over the recipe card. He paid her what he had promised her before swearing her to secrecy, which she agreed too. It had not been a job worth talking about and she was quite relieved that it was over. There were far more entertaining jobs for her to take on and the sooner she dove in to those the better. She simply shook his offered hand, before leaving him to his work. Another satisfied customer and another successful task for the Torrent God Slayer. As she walked away, she pondered about what would happen to the Chef that she had stolen from but simply shrugged her shoulders. He should have guarded his secrets better and there was little more to be said than that.
