Most of the time, freebies are something Loki would be suspicious of, as it was highly unusual for somebody to be handing things out without expecting anything in return. However, he had heard enough passing comments about these iLac devices in fact being free of charge, and since those people appeared to actually have them as well, it would seem that this was indeed a thing. Was it supposed to be a promotion campaign of sorts? That was the only explanation which made enough proper sense to him. Regardless, if that’s how things were, he might as well get in on it as well, while he didn’t have to shill out any money for it. The idea of a device that could be used to communicate with people as well as look up things was a pretty good one. It’d be useful for a lot of stuff, so there was no reason to not want to get it, especially if they were handing them out like doctors hand out candy to little kids.

Making his way through the Neutral Grounds casually, Loki would note that there appeared to be other people heading for the same objective as him; or at least he would assume so based on their direction and typically easily observed excitement. Getting happy about a free gift was a very common reaction after all. Well, he did appreciate it in his own way, although he wouldn’t go broadcasting it to everyone within a mile of him, as that would only accomplish making things awkward. Not something he needed to deal with for no reason, was it? That said, knowing that he’d likely run into a couple people already waiting to get their freebie, he’d choose to not rush at all, instead walking at a languid pace, scanning the area around him as he went. These grounds were such a strange place. With no magic or power being able to be used here, it left everyone who walked in quite vulnerable. Then again, it’d be dumb for people to pick fights while here, for those exact reasons…

Sadly, it was not the luckiest day ever for the red-headed man, as despite having purposefully taken his sweet time, there still were three people keeping the attention of the factory workers by the time he had finally made his way over there. Great. It sort of looked like they were wasting extra time chatting up with those employees, causing this to be more of a wait than it needed to be. Not having anything better to do while that was going on, Loki would lean against a nearby wall, simply watching the show ahead in a somewhat bored manner. It took about a half an hour before those overly chatty girls cleared the premises, and he could finally approach himself. Having no intention of dragging this ordeal out any further, he’d keep the conversation to a few basic questions in regards to the functions the device offered and how to operate it without anything breaking, before taking his leave with the item securely in his pockets…
